CANON is the real brick wall that poses an obstacle in your defending World War Hulk.
Physical prowess- Despero has routinely displayed enough speed and power to justify his KO'ing WWH in an initial encounter. Dropping 3 high-level heralds simultaneously is a clear testament to this fact.
You can add Despero casually smacking around Lobo to the feats as well.
Psionic attack- Despero has annihilated Martian Manhunter through psychic attacks. By any reasonable standard, J'onn is a psi on par with Xavier. Despero broke Aquaman and J'onn with psychic attacks at the same time. Last but not least, there is Starro. Starro trumps any psi in the MU by far and Despero was able to surpass his psi defense.
There you have it.
If YOU can provide canon that negates these facts go ahead.
I'd be more than happy to defend Despero against you one on one.

Meh, due to his body, just because he doesn't look injured doesn't mean he isn't.
I've seen Thor knock him the hell out and he didn't look particularly injured.
Even when Thanos basically beat him to death, Surfer didn't look really injured I believe.
I'm talking in terms of superficial cosmetic damage. His facial expressions would indicate that his in pain.
