Youll notice in my post i referenced energy equivalence regarding chakra and hence said that its conceivable that it wouuld work on characters powered by the equivalent energy in marvel (which is basically all those characters who simply use the general life energy and dont have a distinct energy sources of their own)

I'd say there might be a case for Genjutsu working on ordinary humans (since chi manipulation is something innate (though rarely tapped into) to all baseline humans in Marvel and DC IIRC) but to characters like Thor, Surfer, Superman, Juggernaut, and Flash I'd say Genjutsu might have trouble effecting them because they're powered by "external" forces separate and distinct from Chi/Chakra.

Karin is shit. Truth.

Ichimaru Gin kills Quicksilver.

And I want to see someone fight Stitch.

ki/chackra/chi is not applicable to the "speed force debate" that happened earlier, comic characters have bio energies and psionic energy easily accessible to them, it's just that training/potential separates rick jones and iron fist from the regular joes in comics with no "powers".

i agree that genjutsu on juggs might not work cause of his kinda recent full submission to cyttorak, killer bee broke out of a powerful one cause he was a host as well so....maybe there is a parallel (idunno)

daredevil would get smacked in the brain though

how would genjutsu work on DD?

simple:

"Genjutsu is created when a ninja extends their chakra flow through the cerebral nervous system of their opponent to control their mind's chakra, thereby affecting their five senses."

"Because genjutsu effects activity throughout the Prosencephalon structure of the brain, (a feature unique to mammalian species), humans, dogs and other species of mammal are therefore all affected by genjutsu"

assuming daredevil has some sort of primitive innate chi or whatever, it should work

I would assume most people who dont get their power form some other energy source would. But like i said depends on character

Daredevil would def be effected

Alex Mercer (Prototyple) and Cole MacGrath (Infamous)

vs.

The Avengers

Cap, Iron Man, Spidey, Cage...

can someone help round out a team of past or present avenger's member who'd be a good match for these two.

If you have biomass available for Mercer, he could probably solo the classic Avengers you have listed. With something to absorb around, he can regenerate from a puddle. The only reason I even think he might need it is because of Iron Man. I'm unsure how powerful his Repulsors are, but nobody else can probably take Mercer in hand to hand.

However, Cage might prove to be a better fight than I think. I am unsure of how durable and strong he really is.

i was trying not to include the big boys 'cause i thought it would be unfair. I haven't actually played 'Prototype' in full, but i have played 'Infamous'.

Cage is a decent level class 100 in durability, but only somewhat stronger then spiderman

Classic avengers includes Thor. He can't beat him.

Alex mercer can beat thor depending on where they fight.Pretty much if there are a lot of people around he can't be killed. As long as he has a fresh food supply he could probably beat someone below the tier of vaporizing him.

Alex couldn't even lift a freaking bus. And he was pretty slow AND the game was boring.

A tank is nowhere near Thor level AND Thor is faster.

I had said classic Avengers he had listed. Is Classic Thor as powerful as current?

If Cage is a class 100 in Durability, Mercer would have problems with him. The problem now is all of them beating Mercer down enough to where he can't regenerate in time, assuming there is Biomass around. Though with enough of those guys in there, I'm sure it can happen.

Cole isn't really that powerful. He's got some big guns and all, but I'd have no problem believing he would lose to Cap or Spider-Man. Iron Man and Cage winning is obvious to me now. You'd be better off putting Kessler in there with Mercer. Kessler is much faster and has a variety of powers of his own. Even some mind powers. I could see Mercer and Kessler possibly winning the fight against those four.

Faster as in running speed yes.All I said was is that if alex had a constant supply of food unless he can be vaporized he can't be beaten.
