The Jedi Order vs Skynet

The entire Jedi Order is dropped off in Terminator: Salvation era. They meet up with the Resistance. Skynet ambushes them and kills every single Resistance member except for John, who before dying gives the Jedi information on Skynet.

Can the Jedi Order defeat Skynet?

The Jedi have access to comlinks, lightsabers, blasters and other technology that they typically use, but for the sake of balance not their starfighters.

Jedi win, easily. They foresee the raping and destroy skynet before it become sentient.

Good question. It wouldn't be the big con like Order 66, but without heavy weaponry I'm not seeing a victory by the Jedi.

How so? Jedi do not believe in pre-emptive strikes like their Sith counterparts. Without a pre-emptive strike, then I don't see a Jedi victory.

Granted, Clones are bad-asses. But Skynet has a mass army of various killing machines. Seems they'd win by sheer numbers in the end.

Lighsabre isn't going to stop scrapnel, shotguns and as we've seen in AOTC, too many guns being fired, the Jedi start to drop.
