What does this demonstrate about the nature of their powers? I dont know what you're talking about. My claim is that the Wyngardes aren't telepaths. Not all people with psionic powers that affect the mind are and we can deduce this from their feats and the behavior of their powers. I happen to think Selene's powers aren't of the same kind as chuck's and emma's either. Just like the wyngarde bloodline's arent. I think her telepathy is different in anture and is tied to her power to control lifeforce like her tk.

A telepath can do everything an empath can do an empath can't do everything a telepath can do.

Wyngarde was an illusionist of the highest order but he wasn't a telepath per say. Actually Regan can communicate telepathically though I think both twins have basic telepathy unlike their father that's what made them special.
