Ip Man vs Huo Yuanjia

You know, I change my mind. I'm watching "Fearless" as we speak. Huo kicks the shit outta Ip man. King just made a post in the Bourne/Ip Man thread that got me thinking. Ip Man has little damage soak, if any at all.

Look at the damage Huo takes, and he never even slows down. And in the end, he punches dude so hard that his heart is destroyed, and it drives his shoulder blade almost through his back.

Huo has damage soak, strength, stamina and agility on Ip Man. The only advantage Ip Man has is a slight edge in H2H speed.

Huo wins both scenarios handily.

wait a moment. you guys all seem to forget the fact that Ip Man has been starving for two years. damage soak goes to the emaciated.

I'd say that's a good assessment.

However, there is another element that you did not list: defense.

Defense is a major component, here.

Ip Man has Huo in defense, by leagues. This is why, H2H, it is a 10/10 for Ip.

Weapons, I do no see Ip winning one single one of those matches. However, that could just be my Jet Li fanboyism showing.
