Yeah you get one power point per two levels. Skill points have nothing to do with level; they're earned by completing feats. You can see your feats progress in one of the menu bars (I forget what it's called).

It varies. When I hit level 30 I had 15 Power points and 26 Skill points. I believe you can continue to obtain skill and power points beyond level 30 though. I got my combat rating up to 29 via equipping some better gear and took out two other level 30s that tried to jump me at the Ring War Event. Felt good to be so powerful.

My combat rating was 34 when they first introduced it, which was very shortly after I hit level 30. I'm up to 36 now and don't see it going up soon.

is there any official date set for central city DLC? I just can not wait.

My rating is up to 32 now. I equipped some better gear that raised my toughness and precision (though I lost a bit of my defense against the NPCs in the process, but not enough to be an issue).

Also, how does that escrow system work? I have about $7k worth of escrow money from items I've sold to vendors since my wallet can only hold $1500 at a time. How do I get the rest of my money?

2 ways that i know of for you to "withdraw" your escrow.

1. go to the marketplace and spend a few dollars on an item that allows you to withdraw a certain amount.

2. upgrade to legendary.

I really am getting annoyed with missions. Its too repetitive, save these workers, carry this to here etc..

I am going to start doing alerts, arenas and raids etc..

Can we duo with added friends? If so im willing to link up level 30 combat rating 29

"In the next couple of days we will be deploying other improvements like priority queuing for Legendary and Premium players,"

11. What happens to my characters if I change from Legendary to Premium?

If you have more than six characters you will need to deactivate enough characters to get down to the six character limit. Those characters can be reactivated later by purchasing additional character slots or by upgrading to Legendary Access again. If you have more than 42 inventory items and/or more than 24 bank items you will also need to either purchase additional inventory and/or bank slots or choose which items within those limits you want to carry over to your Premium Access account. Items that are not carried over cannot be recovered later. Finally, any cash you have in excess of the Premium Access limit will be transferred to escrow (see Question 12).

12. What happens if I play with players that are of different Access Levels? Does it affect my personal gameplay experience?

In most cases, you can still play with anyone you choose anywhere in the game. Generally, your access level will not affect your ability to join with others on missions, raids and alerts. However, a player who does not have access to a particular DLC Pack will not be able to join other players in those zones.

13. Why is my cash being limited if I'm Premium Access?

While we do offer a higher cash limit at the Premium Access level, there are still restrictions compared to the Legendary level. Rest assured that the money you earn in excess of the Premium Access in-game currency limit will be kept in escrow for you and you can always buy a Cash Boost from the Marketplace to access your escrow cash for big purchases. Or, you can upgrade to Legendary Access to eliminate the inconvenience of in-game currency limits.

One of the issues with our f2P the cash cap and the auction house. Everything is way above 2k.

So I asked this on Dcuo forums.

So I am f2p and now collecting escrow.

My question is what exactly can I buy with escrow? I don't see much in the marketplace.

only Auction House items are worth buying and they have Absurdly Ridiculous prices, will in most cases just be bought to complete a style set, or a collection set. Completing them = more Skill Points from Feats. So, you'll never need to buy anything that will require more than 1,500 (free acnt) or 2,000 (premium). check out the Esc/Deeds/Feats, click stuff in the Feat lists to see more detailed explanations. Obviously, spending more time in the game will get you the items you might want to buy from the AH.

If you get the kill 5 enemy quest and do Arena/Legends you'll maintain a nice flow of sodas. so, no need to buy sodas. Repair costs, once you get to raiding might be the money drain. After playing for the whatever time it takes to get T1 gear bought from the currency earned by doing Daily Challenge instances (quests given by kiosks in Hall or Doom/Watchtower @ rank 30), you may decide to get a month of Legendary subscription to have access to your escrow.

Your escrow is where the game keeps any money your character gets that exceeds what you may keep in your "wallet". Basic F2P'rs get a wallet of up to $1500, while Premium F2P'rs can have up to $2000.

Any time you end up with more than your wallet can hold, that extra goes into escrow, and can only be "forced out" through spending real money in the marketplace (I believe it costs $1.00 real money to force out $10,000 game cash out of your escrow, and $2.50 to force out $2,500).

If you sell anything in the broker, the cash you would get goes straight into your escrow, not your wallet. Also, as a F2P'r, you may not receive money through trades, nor through the mail, except for any rewards you would get from mission. Soders are now your best friends. The majority of your transactions are going to be through stacks of soders.

Here's my advice. keep your inventory fairly well stocked with things you can sell to npc vendors (again, soders seem to be the best option). Whenever your wallet appears to be close to its' maximum, take care of your repairs, and if there's enough left, buy soders. If you happen to have an extra character slot, create a "mule" to hold your extra supplies. Whenver you're out of cash, just sell a stack of soders. You won't get what you paid for them, but so far they seem to be the best option.

That's actually what i'd been doing lol

Do each toon share the same bank, cash? Like if I have 2000 in one, will my others ones also be at 2000?

Something else for new lvl 30 toons, you can basically buy pvp gear tier .05 to get your combat rating to 36 quickly to help with your dailies.

Buy the best pvp weapon you can find then get the rest pve from your respective vendor/mentor and that should be you at 34-36.

Where are the PVP weapons sold at?

I had a derr moment there, reactor side in the justice league by hawkman and cyborg.

Also is it just me or does the acrobat movement ability just suck compared to flight and superspeed.

When you do legends save your tokens to upgrade to a villian like bane or two faced don't get nightwing.

Hmm... I'm a villain. I'll have to search the Hall of Doom for the right vendor. That place is a f*ckin maze so I'm not looking forward to it. It took me a half hour to find a kiosk I could buy armor from at my current level of renown.

Also, as far as travel powers are concerned, flight's the only way to go in my opinion. Best control, and fast enough to keep up with speedsters when you fly at super sonic speed. Only thing that sucks is that there are so many attacks that can ground you, and also the lift off can be slow in a fire fight (I have the hardlight shielding so I can buy myself a few seconds when necessary). I think there's a skill in the flight tree that allows you to lauch upwards. I'll have to check.

*edit

They need to roll out teleportation and intangibility.

We get ****ing lost in the Watch Tower. Same thing.

Travel power is the one thing you can't change right? Once you pick it then you're stuck with it.

The watchtower is pretty easy to navigate once you look at the map.

The tech, meta, magic all surround the central and all the tech, meta, magic connect in a huge circle around the central.

Tech has the hanger, meta has that nature area and central reactor and I don't use magic enough to worry about whats there atm.

Yup once you pick your travel power you get it, just imo NEVER pick acrobat so terrible compared to flight or ss.
