I just bought all the DLC (except Last Laugh) yesterday.

And then I tried to make Darkseid, and my Earth Powers hadn't loaded so I just gave up.

Okay, so i finally got into the game...and bigtime!

I was so turned off in the begining and i have to say, i was so wrong. I found that from playing other games so much, i did not give this game a chance based on the control scheme. Well i stopped playing games for a while as my book was finished and released. Going in fresh made all the difference. I am now a Legendary member thanks to the 25% menbership that just happened.

It has its flaws, and they are many. However it does have some awesome aspects to the game. I really hope they expand and re-tool some of the mechanics for powers and skills etc

I have now 2 characters that are 30th level (GL and a Superman clone), mostly from PVE...going to stay there until i can get some gear to help me keep up.

Anybody here still playing? BTW i am playing on a PC

So I went in to play yesterday for the first time in a long time. I'm basically broke compared to Delph.

I was wondering though, what are those awesome looking tech suits that Robin and Batgirl are selling in the watchtower and how do you "earn" them since you can't outright buy them - not that I could even afford a piece.

Do other heroes in other places of the watchtower have similar things for sale?

Got the Lightning and Fight for the Light DLC's. Figured I would post up pics here. Jovian is an Ice-Tank.

I believe the robin and batgirl outfits are pvp oriented so you earn points doing the different styles of pvp.

Then there is "raid" armor or armor you get for accomplishing pve type things.

In general using pvp for pve is bad and using pve for pvp just gets you killed.

You gotta get to level thirty, and do duos, alerts, and raids to get "marks". Once you get enough marks you can buy the armor. But it takes a while.

They're seperated by tiers, and PVE/PVP. PVP armor is acquired by doing player vs player stuff, and it makes you more powerful against other players. Useless against enemies. The Robin suit is a PVP armor. But that's only Tier 1. There's three other tiers. You unlock his armor by defeating other players in PVP stuff.

The Batgirl suit is T2 armor. You unlock that by doing harder alerts and T2 raids. You gotta do duos though to unlock the T1 suit until your CR (which is leveling after level 30) gets high enough that you can go into T2 stuff and unlock pieces of that armor.
Of course, you get decently powerful armor in the alerts and duos themselves which allows you to skip building the whole suit. I'm already halfway through T4, and I've only finished one PVE suit (the Batsuit one), so you don't need to finish them. But as you'll find out, completing feats are pretty important, so you'll want to finish the suits sooner or later.

And about the CR thing. It goes up to 89. Your CR should be about 30 when you level up to it. So it takes quite a while.
You're going to want it as high as you can before going into raids.

For example, the last two raids require CR 70, and I'm at 82. I can run through the second last raid easily and blow away everyone else, but I'm not powerful enough for the last raid of the game (although I think that had to do with shitty healers tbh). So you want to be a little bit above the combat requirement for raids to make a real difference. Alerts and Duos don't really matter.

The first raid is Black Adam, and you're going to want to jump into the novice one as soon as you hit 40

Also, I found my new favorite thing to do in the game.

Go to the brokers and find someone obviously doing something. Then shout out that "My boy *name* here is betting *insert item* that nobody can beat him in a duel"
Then hide and watch people challenge him and piss them off, and then bug them if they do win. Absolutely hilarious. I was doing it last night, and this guy lost it and started swearing at this guy telling him to get the "fok outta his face"

Same with challenging people with full PVP armor, using remixes, and my fireball supercharge to one shot them. And not giving rematches. They are guaranteed to flip out.

Bump.

I used to play this game. I got all the t4 armor playing as a GL. Got bored after, didn't want to repeat. Was doing such high dmg i was able to solo dps T4 raids

Oh and I look exactly like NEKRON

You should try the new T5 content. The difficulty has been kicked up a few notches.

oh really? anything else that they added? You still play it?

It's hard as shit and you can get to 97 Cr, 98 I believe is the absolute cap.

It was released last month too, so you got some time to catsup

hmm i have the game installed. Just might go play again. gotta find a new gang.

I do remember playing the one with Brainiac and his 3 avatars. That was so hard to beat, no matter what items you have, without correct position, and timing, you can't win. I beat it once and never wanted to play it again

We had a team that absolutely crushed it in some better gear when I was like 93. Top DPS, we got all the feats, and it took us like 12 minutes when we were screwing around after the avatars went down.

So yeah, it's pretty good stuff. Although you just need a decent team to beat it with t4 gear. I've beat it a decent amount of times before the t5 gear. Never got out dps'ed in it anyway.

Just a word of warning, Earth does not work well for the new raids. I had to switch to HL considering you can't clip up close. So anything at range is what you're going to want to be.

Oh yeah, they also have a new power that seems pretty OK.

Yeah I shared the account with my little cousin. I used HL. Before I quit, I a damn good DPS. But I decided to try it out tonight and it's amazing how hard T4-5 raids are. I was getting out beat 🙁

Bump.

Also, we need to form a KMC League. Who still plays?
