I didn't actually say that. Bolin was poorly-written in season 2. Not so much 3 or 4.

Sorry, I forgot to quote the one who said that. Wasn't referring to you.

That was ****ing heartbreaking to read.

Why does Nick hate this setting so much?

I think Nick hates strong female protagonists.

:heavy breathing:

That picture makes it like Korra is trying to hard to please. I like her regular butch looked.

This one, okay? The artist did great work!

What the..she looks like a bodybuilder six pack and all..

Just finished watching the entire Avatar: The Last Airbender series. Man that was a good show.

I can now confidently declare that Ghazan would beat Toph in a fight. 👆

Edit: Also apparently Grey Delisle once said that Azula is in love with Ty Lee. Nice.

Zaheer is back *******.

Great episode.

gotta admit, never saw this coming.

The this being Zaheer being way more helpful to Korra than Toph was.

good episode.

Zaheer is a better mentor than Tenzin, lol.

I love how Zaheer pretty much sticks to his principals. Korra was in his way the first time and put him in jail, but hearing Kuvira is the worst dictator ever stirred that Red Lotus blood. He hates what she is enough that working with Korra was an easy choice.

Zaheer is a really good character.

That's kind of sad all things considered. Zaheer even got to keep his Red Lotus theme.

Episode was good aside from all the romance stuff with Bolin.

So Zaheer is pretty obviously the best villain in Korra and one of the best in the entire setting. He's certainly more human than any other Korra villain.

👆

He's not "cartoon" evil (evil just to for the purposes of needing a protagonist.. *cough* Unalaq *cough*). He's somewhat rational, and even if you don't sympathize with his ideals, you can still watch him in action without wishing he'd just die already.

He's also the only Avatar Antagonist to actually truly lose something. Amon died, but he died happy with his brother. Unalaq didn't lost anything. He didn't even seem to really care for his children before he kicked the bucket.

Zaheer not only got 99% of the way to hitting his end game, in the process he lost two very good friends and the love of his life because of what he brought about. He learned to fly, and now he's shackled in an underground cave. Zaheer's got onion layers.

Also his name is pretty cool.

heh. Zuko lost part of his face, his father's respect and his mother (thought he did).

and Azula most certainly lost her goddamn mind.

Zhao also lost an eternity of what I assume to be peace and tranquility in favor of madness and suffering, lol.

So who is better: Zaheer or Kuvira?

I believe we've already settled this. Zaheer is better.
