Toph would wreck Kuvira.

But that was a great episode, though. Imo.

no doubt Toph is more skilled than Kuvira, but it's very likely she would have lost due to age.

Wise decision by Bryke to not do that fight, and to have Toph explain why she doesn't fight at all.

Bumi was a monster.

Didn't Iroh also get on Bumi's gym membership during season 3?

I don't think Iroh was anywhere near as old as Bumi. Bumi was 112. Iroh was like mid to late 50's, maybe early 60's.

Toph, Katara, and Zuko are like late 80's, early 90's now I believe.

I like how they based the spirit cannon on the German 36 cm 'Max E' railway gun.

Good episode. Looks like Kuvira is > to Suyin, but she still wasn't woman enough to try to take on Toph.

Also I still don't see how Lin was unlikable this episode.

Lin's bitterness and anger was somewhat irritating but I didn't find her 'unlikable'.

I think Lin was well within reason for the situation. She has a lot of issues, most if not all stemming from Toph's very poor parenting(which she admits to several times). And Toph also expected Lin to be just like Suyin and forgive her. While not once going out of her way to try and make things better.

Lin had every right to blow up. And Toph should feel bad for what she did.

Toph complaining about her back after a very brief skirmish is adorable when you consider Bumi liberating his entire city after months standing in a box.

Bumi was just a genetic freak apparently.

Bumi still has one of the best pure Earthbending feats throughout both series.

If not in scale, then definitely in skill.

I can't remember if another bender who could tunnel through the earth as easily as Bumi. Nor one that could earthbend with his face while suspended dozens of feet in the air, away from any earth.

He also picked up that absolutely massive chunk of wall to throw at Aang.

All Lin needs is a heart-to-heart conversation about her daddy issues, but Toph wont do it.

That's what I meant. I meant that Toph displayed the correction reaction to Lin reading her the riot act, and that Lin had every right, so she didn't do anything really unlikable in my eyes.

Now I'm wondering if Lin and Suyin have the same dad.

that's still one of the most impressive things we've seen from a bender of any element.

only thing that rivals it from a non-Avatar, is Zaheer flying.
