Makorra was such a piece of shit ship for all the love it got. It was awful. Easily one of the worst fanbases of all time.
Looking at the series as a whole, the thing that bothers me is that we never see the aftermath of the Equalist Movement.
Did any of them continue even after Amon's exposure? Were all the chi blockers arrested? I would have liked to see some reformed Chi blockers defending Republic City when Kuvira attacked--I feel like that was a missed opportunity.

Yeah, all one and a half episodes of evidence. It only got shafted when it came to light how much it lacked any deconstruction or even received mch attention to have been the final outcome. The bullshit tweets from the creators that we're supposed to buy is applicable tenfold to Makorra and even Kataang considering that 95% of that lovestory was just a one-sided precocious crush.
And this is coming from someone who actively avoids even bothering with shipping.

I'm talking about the build-up and development to it, or lack thereof. Without any chemistry or very sufficient screen time, we're to believe a sudden and allegedly mutual spark between them by episode 5 based on a single clip in episode 2 or 3. That's not a fan ass-pull, it's a full on creator ass-pull.
