Nah, they're proven effective!

War only happe ns like once every 80 years in their world and it was war machines that got her company in the hole in the first place.

Was it that bad?

nothing really ****ing happed last episode.
Im just watching because I want to know who the first avatar was. I always wanted to know

Writers need to get more creative. While it's written well I don't want to see another sibling rivalry being the focus backstory. And on top of that one of the siblings was freaking banished and again in this case the younger brother ends up taking the position they never would have.

And we're seeing Tarrlok v2 which is incredibly annoying. I mean if season tow was alone then it would have been awesome. The quality is there but reused..

I'm gonna call it, Korra's uncle is just Tarrlok with plastic surgery who took the place of her real uncle!! 😛

Lets see... we have Iroh/Ozai, Azula/Zuko, Amon/Tarrlok, Tenzin/Bumi+Kya and now Korras Uncle/Dad.

Did one of these writers get raped by a sibling or something? So far sibling rivalry has been the backstory for every main villain.

And even that doesn't include Sokka and Katara who's had a few episodes at each other's throats.

You no what I noticed about ATLA? Iroh and Ozai NEVER interact on screen. Not one confrontation or even conversation. I now find it strange that it never happened.

It's symbolic of how they've chosen very different paths in life. Some people, like a genocidal brother, are best left in the past.

I don't think he was genocidal. The whole reason they started the war was because they thought fire nation was best nation and were helping the others get on their level. A couple generations of propaganda and mindwash kinda dulled their sense of humanity.

Yeah Sozin was the genocidal one.

He was a genocidal monster who had been brainwashed then lol. Iroh suffered the same thing but became super nice.

Sozin was the successful genocidal one(well almost). Ozai aimed for a much bigger target and wasn't likely to succeed but his plan was burn the earth kingdom to the ground.

Yeah, the plot seems recycled.

I almost want to see Bolin/Asami now. Just as a FU to Korra and Mako...

I just want Bolin to get the happiness he deserves.

Also I'm confused as to who I'm supposed to be rooting for here. Korra is morally and ethically in the right about her father's behavior but she's so childish and arrogant the only time I was happy in the episode was when she was knocked the **** out by the spirit.

Conversely her dad, who is a calmer personality, is just an idiot. Who in their right mind wrecks a forest to get to some bandits?

I'm starting to root for Unalaq. And Jinora of course.

Is bending strictly genetic? I was under the impression it had spiritual connection.

I'm not sure if it is. Neither of Tophs parents seemed to be Earthbenders. Aang and Katara both were yet Bumi's a non-bender.

It seems to be. If Airbenders could appear regardless of genetics then they would have.

Frankly I don't know. The fact that one identical twin can have bending while another can't is proof that there probably isn't a set in stone rule.

Then how come the air replacements haven't brought forth a bender? If they're living nomad lifestyle and are spiritual connected, they should have baby windbags by now.

Which leads credence to the idea that there is a genetic factor. But again identical twins can have one bender and one non-bender.
