Air + water= what ever pathik is.

I don't see why you'd need any fire bending for sand bending. It's just a kind of earth.

Really I don't mind them giving water bending so much love.

The last protagonist was an Airbender who used it a lot. We were always seeing Airbending. The baddies were Fire benders so we saw a lot of that and the most common bender was Earth since the guy spent the majority of two seasons in the Earth Kingdom. Not a lot of Water Benders in A:TLA by comparison.

Granted of course Air would always be dead last but unless they focused strictly on the Airbenders we wouldn't get much of that. Granted that might have been way more fun than this.

Water's supposed to be the most adaptable/malleable element.

Doug does a great Unalaq.

"Hello I'll be your Tarrlok for this season."

Deserts are hot and they seemed pretty chummy when they traded appa.

Hey, ya'know that glowing statue that jinora saw? Was that supposed to be korra? It didn't really look like her.

It was Wan the first Avatar.

Who in one of the trailers looks way too much like Mako. If Mako does turn out to be related to him it will be right back into the dog house with that character.

So?

I thought older avatars got the top shelfs?

There fighting style is also faster and more agressive than normal earthbenders.

He was. Granted the temple room has clearly been redesigned.

But roku, kyoshi, and aang were still on the ground floor. Darn Air acolytes messing with the dead peoples' stuff...

Which is why I say he was at the top. He seemed tucked away in his own little corner.

I thought he was right next to aang. Got rewatch it I guess...

Lots of potential for incest.

At least I'm not the only one who thinks Wan looks a lot like he could have been from the Fire Nation.

Oh I always thought he looked Fire Nation lol.

I just don't want him to be related to Mako.

Which has nothing to do with any connection to firebending and everything to do with the nature of sand. If anything the effort would be closer to water bending than firebending given sand's semi-fluid nature.

Oh yeah? Cool. Loneliness on opinions sucks. 🙁

Would be hilarious if he were. But Bolin would be a descendant of Wan as well, and that'd be cool.

I'd sacrifice Bolin being related to Wan since it would mean Mako isn't a descendent.

My true fear is that they're really half brothers and only Mako is related to him.

In other news Aang was apparently kind of a crappy parent to Bumi and Kya.

Or he could have been a pseudo jesus and was just awesome to everyone so the ait acolytes couldn't tell... the air acolytes keep ticking me off.
