Avatar: The Legend of Korra

It took Zaheer, Ghazan, Ming Hua and P'li to bring down Tenzin. And they all had to attack him simultaneously to do it. He is pure beast mode.

Didn't think Tenzin had it in him. Though one thing bothers me about this episode: Where the **** was Opal?

Ming Hua held her ice scythe to her throat. After that she tried to escape with the other Airbenders.

Also I'm pretty sure the Red Lotus targeting the Northern Air Temple rules out any lingering notions of Suyin working with them.

That was supposed to be Opal? Those airbending uniforms sure do make people look generic.

I'm still skeptical of the radio signal thing. Just find it weird that nobody could get through until after Korra and friends arrived.

Hahaha. Yeah, that's part of the point I suppose. Everybody is equal as a student. No favoritism, etc, etc... Tenzin as a master is differentiated by robes.

But you could tell it was her by the hairstyle, eyes, and that little arm band thingy she and her family have. Seems to be Zao Fu fashion.

As for the radio signal, just seems nobody was there at first(they were all still training) when Milo picked up for Bolin.

Why is this show so good, though?

Spoiler:
I liked Zuko's WTF reaction when Korra nonchalantly told him that she met Iroh.

Classic Zuko.

I think this was the first time I legitimately hated Zaheer. F*ck that guy.

Spoiler:
Is Tenzin... dead?

Almost certainly not.

If he is than Zaheer's gang is the best group of villains. Hell I still think they are, Bryke just needs to stick the landing of the show.

I think he is. It's pretty heavily implied he is

dead.

Spoiler:
"As long as I'm breathing, it's not over." And then they start beating him. I'm pretty sure he's dead.

But I guess we won't really know until next Friday.

I doubt they'd kill Tenzin. Beat him until he's unable to do anything but not kill him. He's still a bargaining chip against Korra.

I honestly really hope he isn't.

So who think Zaheer will be Aang's killer?

What? They're not going to kill off Tenzin. They panned away because he was being beaten/tortured into submission.

Don't they already have the rest of the airbenders captured?

Do you believe the earth Queen survived... the camera also panned away. It was to protect the Y-7 rating.

They've stated Aang passed away at 66.

And Kai got away as well as Kia and Bumi. And P'li helping them take down Tenzin took her attention off the benders after the bison flew off.

True, didn't think about that.

Pretty fantastic episode.

I liked how it showed that for all Zaheer's natural talent and fighting skills, he was no match for a true airbending master.

was soooo glad they didn't have him be Tenzin's equal. I can accept Zaheer beating other benders, but i would have lost my shit if he straight up beat a master of the same element.
