So how does the series compare against the Justice League? I'm thinking of trying it out.

I think Avengers is not even in the same League as JL/JLU. I would even rank Young Justice above Avengers.

The thing I dislike most about the show is the PIS. Thor should be ending many of their fights in 5 seconds, but no, he gets hurt by generic lasers and crap like that (things that can't even seriously damage his team mates shouldn't do jack crap to him). I guess thats a problem with most animated shows, but for some reason this annoyed me the most.

Still a good series though as others have said.

Yeah it hasn't managed to get up to the level of JLU as I hoped it would. There are good fun episodes, but somehow the plots, dialogue, and pacing are still off the mark somehow.

I liked YJ more than Avengers at first. But I haven't enjoyed the last couple of episodes of YJ as much. I'm hoping it will start to take off more soon.

Just finished watching the final episodes of the season and I can't wait until season 2. They've done a great job at connecting storylines. Each interpretation of the characters on the show is nearly perfect and I just love all the small references that fans of the comics will understand. I'll definitely the blu ray for season 1 when it comes out.

I really don't like how they treat Cap on the show, but the storylines more than make up for discrepancies in character discrepancies, IMO.

I enjoyed this. The chapter aren't exactly tight in how their action works, they seem slowpaced or cut at times, I hope they work that out for the next season.

Finally saw the Kang episodes.

I enjoyed them.

The new episode are pretty good.

the season finale was da bomb..

can't wait until season 2

Ditto. It's close tho.

I'm a Marvel fan, but I dont think its even close to JLU yet. Its still good though.

Just watched the entire season from start to finish (with a small sleep break in between lol).

I think from that perspective, the way they tied in all the storylines was incredibly smooth. It may have seemed a bit choppy if you didn't keep track, but watching every episode back to back really weaved a great story. And it all lead up to the Loki finale.

A few plotholes here or there, but honestly it was quite entertaining. And the fighting made me forgive any animation gripes I had.

The Graviton and Kang fights especially were awesome. As far as the Thor complaints, I knew what to expect. They always dumb him down in The Avengers...otherwise the fights would be way too short.

I agree with this. I didn't care for YJ, though, but JLU is one of the best. Avengers is just ok to me.

JLU
Avengers
Justice league
Young justice
Teen titans

1.Avengers
2.JLU
3.Justice league
4.Young justice

1497.Teen titans(Hated this anime heavy crap)

Well its not any different to having Supes on the JL really.. (Except I suppose other JLA members are closer to Supes in power than Avengers are to Thor)

Still you have the Hulk who is stronger than Thor, and Iron Man's and Black Panther's brains and tech are useful in taking down bad guys when more than just Power is needed.

Then you have Captain America and Iron Man who provide the leadership qualities to the team. And then the Shield agents like Hawkye, so they all do serve a purpose even with Thor there.

But I think the show has worked really well, and has us excited for more.

So far:

1. JLU
2. Avengers.
3 Justice League.

I seriously think that Marvel Animated has something against Thor. He's had the most knock out moments out of all the heroes in this series. Sure they portray his powers pretty good every now and then, but he has more dumb showings than he has good showings.

On the other hand, this series has seriously amped up hawkeye and wasp. Hawkeye here is like a combination of capt. A and bullseye. WTF?

And yes, ofcourse there is always the hulk-love. I like hulk, but seeing him just power his way through extremely strong beings (like kang) leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention that Hulk looks at least twice as fast as thor during the fights...

Hawkeye IS like a combination of Captain America and Bullseye but he also has Batman like gadgets. He's the best streetleveler ever, deal with it flirt

hulk got owned by kang 😕

Lets no go there.

And just enjoy enjoy the show. Trying to compare Avengers to JLU is just wrong.

DC push their characters into absurd Herald levels while also downgrading them in situations so they can fight masterminds on ground level. Whereas this show is dealing with an EARLY FIRST LEVEL AVENGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No Extremis, No WBH, No Scientist Supreme level Pym. Just an Avengers that reflects the early team while grounding them in a modern environment while marketing them to the films for the kids who haven't read 50 years of comic book canon so can relate to them. And the kids are the most important. The next gen of fans. Lets just enjoy the show and respect it for what it is. Thor is uber in this show, much more advanced and impressive then the film counterpart. He hovers, he tanks and he Godstrikes.

This series in its run has had 4 weak eps among its 26 episodes. Haters criticize the art but the artstyle doesn't reflect the whole vision.

I'm stoked that I finally have an Avengers animated series and soon a feature film. I would've never imagined I would've ever seen one personally in my day.

The Ultron eps were awesome.
The Kangs not so, especially the last episode which reaked of marketing.
