Hawkeye IS like a combination of Captain America and Bullseye but he also has Batman like gadgets. He's the best streetleveler ever, deal with it flirt

Bendis, is that you?

Hulk walked through his blasts and tore him in half in the 1st part, the 2nd part Ultron had to drain him as he couldn't cope with Hulk physically

Still, it was an easy win once he worked out Hulk's weakness, and one which he could use again if they fought in future.

I kind of wonder which episodes were the worse of the bunch, I know I liked the one with Captain Marvel if only to enjoy the character alive and in his classic uniform.

How are they going to work the kree-skrull war without Rick Jones, that's a wonder.

None of them were particularly bad. But I don't think the best of them were as good as the best of the JLU episodes. I think they still need a little work on their pacing, dialogue, and fight scenes to make it better (JLU had some very well laid out fights).

I'm looking forward to some more story adaptations. Yeah, the Kree-Skrull war would be an interesting one.

I felt more urgency in the Ultron episodes than from any of the JLU episodes to be honest.

They are comparable shows overall. But I would like more in-depth fights. But all of JLU's good fights involved Superman. So if they wanted to have really detailed fights in Avengers they might have to start focusing on one character at a time. I actually thought the micro-episodes where Thor fought Loki and Frost Giants and Hulk fought Creel, were both good examples.

JLU was able to do that, by rotating characters and having less characters in some episodes.

Yes, a lot of the fights did involve Supes, like the slam down against CM. But some of the best ones either featured him less or not at all. IMO some of the best fights, either for the destruction, choreography, or just for fun value were:
- Black Canary, Hawkgirl, and Vixen vs Wonder Woman - nothing like that in Avengers.
- Invasion of the League satellite
- Supes, WW, Batman, and Ape City vs Luthor's villains and goons
- Evil Flash vs the League
- League lightweights vs Shaggy Man General
- Injustice League vs the monastery monks
- Flag(?) invades the satellite
- Darkseid invasion

There were maybe a couple of other good ones I can't think of right now.

I just don't think the Avengers is quite there yet. I really liked in JLU how the characters just cut loose and beat the living crap out of each other sometimes.

I can't think of a single team effort battle in JLU that was any more spectacular than what Avengers brought to the table.

Indeed, I can't think of a single JLU team fight that had the scope and destruction of the Graviton fight.

JLU's best brawls:

Superman vs Wonder Woman
Superman vs Captain Atom
Supes vs CM
Supes vs Doomsday in a volcano
Supes vs Darkseid on Apocalypse
Supes vs Brainiacseid

Yeah, the Graviton fight was one of the best. Probably the JLU fight with the most destruction was the worldwide Apokalips invasion, or when the satellite was used to blast the city. Some of the best fights for me were the smaller scale ones though, like the girls vs mind-controlled WW, and the satellite invasion.

It's just the pacing and choreography in Avengers that doesn't quite seem up there to me. But that's just people having different preferences and opinions for different styles.

As CosmicComet said, Avengers had plenty of great fight scenes.

1. Gravitron fight is till probably the coolest fight for either 'toon.
2. The Kang fights (particularly the first) were awesome
3. Hulk vs Absorbing man was fun
4. The urgency of what Ultron was doing was palpable

Honestly if what they say about

Spoiler:
Doom taking Janet and Sue Storm and finding out that Sue is a Skrull for season 2....wow. Cannot WAIT. (Bout time Doom showed up 😎 )

Also Flash vs BraniacLex..

There was some good team fights in JL, mainly the Amazo one.

But EMH is wayyyy better than JL/ JLU IMO

ditto

I love how beastly they've made Pym in this show.

He beat multiple frost giants with far greater EASE than Thor did! He has gotten the better of Abomination TWICE in quick fashion when the going called for it whereas Hulk struggled with Abomination in the single fight that they had.

True...but Pym didn't really do well against Hulk in their encounter. But yes, he does seem logically beastly in this show.

All he was trying to do to Hulk was restrain him with one hand though, none of the team were really trying to fight him.
