while I can understand if the plot calls for it, Shigure was trying to protect an object that could easily destroyed by anything, all while weaponless (save for when she used the caught arrows to guard) and a bit more focused on telling Ryozanpaku the coordinates. it's just getting too extreme.
Don't forget that hundreds of chapters ago, we had The Elder dodging automatic gunfire and throwing tanks (and running on water).
We also had an Elder that could kick so fast that his kicks, when slowed down to 1/3,000th of a second, still appeared as nothing but a blur when viewed on-screen.
And this is the same Elder that, if in a brawl with all the masters "would probably win." Emphasis on "probably" meaning there is a small chance that one of the other Masters could win the brawl.
I said all that to say this: we've had much more over the top and extreme feats hundreds of chapters ago. If you ask me, the feats have kind of slowed down as of late (minus the Elder vs. the Dark Elder).
true, but it's been established over and over again that the elder (along with that other old guy) are in their own league, so it's expected for everyone else to be unable to match them at all. but Shigure, powerful as she is, is still young and the 3 that tried to stop her should be at a comparable enough level to at least not take that damn long to destroy a phone that she was guarding.
Why does one of the only females with muscle tone continue to be unimpressive. Also this is one heck of a power hungry first right here: http://www.mangapanda.com/historys-strongest-disciple-kenichi/554/10
So does this mean we're getting some disciple fights again? I mean I like tank punching and machine gun dodging as much as the next person but it'd be nice to tone it down again.
eh, well she is a bow user. as awesome as she is with it, I doubt it would do much good when living in a world filled with people that rely more upon their own physical abilities. hopefully her disciple will do something more impressive if/when she gets into a fight with another disciple level opponent.
it would seem so. I really want to see that Kajima guy in action; all we've seen is him simply going around keeping his allies in line like a boss.
Did you guys notice that Kenichi is getting pretty muscular?

Yay disciples. Did the author read my complaints or something cause this was a solid chapter. I can't wait for Kenichi and Kajima to duke it out. I don't think the dudes had a decent fight since that whooping he tanked from Sho.
So not even Kisara is safe from fanservice now but it was still a lot tamer than what we usually get.
