Emperor Vulcan vs. Doctor Doom

This fight will have two rounds.

Rnd 1 - Vulcan and the entire Shi'ar Empire invade Latveria to take it over. It is a random invasion. Doctor Doom was never prepared for this. Will Latveria be able to survive and win the battle, or will Latveria be taken over by the Shi'ar Empire?

Rnd 2 - Same scenario as round 1, only this time Doctor Doom heard from an anonymous source a week prior that Vulcan was planning on invading, so he takes that entire week to prepare Latveria's defenses for the invasion of Vulcan and the Shi'ar Empire? Will Latveria be able to survive and win the battle, or will Latveria be taken over by the Shi'ar Empire? What will Doom do to prepare for the invasion? How will be combat it with his week of preparation?

Each round will have Doom and Vulcan square off in the end, just like in War of Kings where in the end Black Bolt squared off with Vulcan. The only difference is in one round Doctor Doom is not prepared, and in the other Doctor Doom is prepared.

Both Latveria and the Shi'ar Empire can use any and all weapons that it has at it's disposal. That means Doombots, Imperial Guard, etc. Same thing for the battle between Doctor Doom and Vulcan. All of their powers completely at their disposal.

Earth couldn't withstand an invasion let alone Latvia.

If Doomie can overcome the full might of the Shi`ar empire, why the fu*k is he not ruling earth yet?

Finally came to his senses did he? Last time I checked his goal was still "Doomworld" when he had that conversation with Bast or whatever that cat god was named. Next perhaps he will let go of that ridicolously huge ego of his too.

Does Vulcan want to conquer or destroy? The Hecatomb or and that device that allowed him to port a star to any place he wants makes the first scenario very one-sided.

Doom will need a very powerful item or a hell of a lot of people to help him in scenario 2. And I don't think Latveria possesses either of those at the moment.

Prepped fight doom BFRs them into galactus's stomach.

Between the two specific vulcan in one.

With prep doom uses his army of 6 billion doombots to kill vulcan.Then proceeds to steal the celestial killing gun from reed,kill galactus,become the new galactus,and be the new power of the next universe.

Any fight involving prep Doom will win. Its an unquantifiable factor, Marvel should go as far as list it as a super power. Unlimited Prep time potential or some shit.

But yeah Vulcan has the means to take over if we are talking about a blitz as ExodusCloak has pointed out.

So, what are people agreeing upon? Would Latveria, with prep, be able to withstand an assult from the Shi'ar Empire? If so, how would they do it?

One week isn't enough.

Doom isn't winning 1 that's for sure. Either Xenith or Gladiator would kill him before he knew what happened.

As for two, the only viable solution would involve stealing cosmic powers from someone like Surfer or above and executing Vulcan. BFR is a second option. Other than that, he may need to resort to luring the Phalanx to infect the Shi'ar. All of these tho would require him using his time machine to buy extra time to carry out his plan.

Shiar conquer in both. Vulcan himself isn't much of a factor.

Latveria for both scenarios. Doom could entrap the invading army in time or bfr them to another dimension.

one-on-one, Doom falls in scenario one and reigns supreme in scenario two.

In a one-on-one fight, Vulcan would destroy Doom.

actually, Doom wins in all scenarios. he does a mind swap with Vulcan, becoming Emperor Doom.

in a one-on-one fight, with some prep, Doom could get the OFF switch to the mutant gene. shields + flick the OFF switch = dead mutie.
