Emperor Vulcan vs. Doctor Doom

First scenario is spite. The Shi'ar Empire is HUGE and could obliterate Earth as easily as Latveria.

Second scenario, I would give it to Doom. Vulcan will probably try the straight approach and walk into a trap. It would have to be one helluva trap though.

Vulcan would manipulate Doom's energy and just kill him off the bat unless Doom has prep.

nah, Molecule Man, stray Celestials and Celestials in waiting are on the planet. no chance of Shi'ar destroying Earth. I bet the magic and tech defences of Latveria are upto the challenge of holding off an invading army, long enough for Doom to utilise some form of temporal or dimensional bfr or even to use powerful magic to do it.

Doom would punch his other eye out.

He's used his powers to mind**** people, shut down others' brains and powers. Can't see non-prepped Doom doing anything to Vulcan. Magic might work, but Vulcan is capable of manipulating that like another form of energy.

he beat the Marquis of Death, he can deal with mutie muppets.

Rachel Summers isn't "other people" either but he beat her. And please show me where he was able to manipulate energy to counter Vulcan's? Because beating one character doesn't mean much in other fights unless they showed something that would help them in this scenario.

Vulcan has no eye defenses.

doom has no chance in scenario 1. in scenario 2, that's more than enough time to get a cosmic cube or steal the power cosmic or make the earth disappear or whatever doom needs to do.

I see a lot of people underestimating Vulcan. He is an Omega-Level Energy Manipulator. Unless Doom has a defense for this, in reverse to what he did to D'Ken, Vulcan could easily shut off Doom's brain, preventing him from doing anything.
