Superman 1,000,000 vs Darkseid (Soulfire)

Ok in the Infinity Watch series we saw Adam Warlock in possession of the Infinity Gauntlet, and he was having a heart to heart with the Living Tribunal, their conversation alone was blowing Abstracts away like homes caught in an F5 tornado. I was lead to believe that these guys were operating on levels beyond the physical. Unlike Soulfire Darkseid and The Source Entity who at best made two worlds collide, or an Infinity Man powered by that same Source entity, who was physically challenged by a regular Superman, and appeared to have nearly been against the ropes. Now that within itself was quite a feat, but nothing about it indicated that they were omnipotents.

Darkseid himself while being juiced up to the gills with the power of all of the New Gods, reminded me of the Asgardian Destroyer when it was trashed by the 4th Celestial host. This is my comparison.

Hey Ice, and Galan you guys have to admit that if power output is the scale to determine how powerful a character is, the Source entity and Soulfire Darkseid were below what happened in the Infinity Watch between Warlock, and the Living Tribunal. Superman 1,000,000's feats seemed more impressive by comparison. Just my 2 cents.

I just wanted to say if DC 1 mil Supes only has a limited number of feats and they are 99% over the top high end and he is supposed to be at least Mxy level which the Joker used for all intents and purposes to wreck the universe several times over, then what exactly gives SF Darkseid an advantage over him... Please specify, I'm not claiming one way or another but from what I've read so far all anyone is posting for SF is that he kicks in supes head without saying anything else. Also OP said that collateral damage was not an issue so if Supes has Mxy power then he could just turn off the universe to beat SF.

I'd put Superman M* around Infinity Man's level.

My apologies then. But still I would like to see some feats from SF because I'm only aware of a few of his feats and the ones I know probably aren't his high end.

I mean in Death of the New Gods Not being able to just take the power from Jimmy??

Because neither of them were TRYING to blow up the universe, possibly?

See if every character that was capable of destroying planets and stars always went around doing that, it wouldn't exactly match the purpose of whatever story the author has in mind.

Displaying power had nothing to do with DotNG's plot, hence it didn't happen. But we already know that Ares with the God Wave (a mere portion of the Source's power) is universal, so that's enough to say about the Source.
