Second off Kal Kent's feats are at best worthy of Skyfather status whereas SF Darkseid defeated an Abstract and would have controlled the entire Universe had his plan not been foiled.
The Source is one of the most powerful beings in the DCU, far above the likes of Kal Kent and SF Darkseid trapped him and had him at his mercy.
SF DS one-shots the hyperbolic scion of Superman.

dude maybe my spelling and grammar isnt that good but at least i can understand what people say unlike you where you cant understand that kal kent did all that while losing almost all his powers and at full power he was about to kill solaris which is a planet being that could destroy galaxies and bring apocalypse so before you open your mouth learn to read what people say and dont be a hypocrite since you started with the trolling

Are you just ignorant of what kind of feat binding the Source is? Because nothing Kal Kent did can come close to that.
Just wanted to say something, it has always been stated that the Source was the shyt, but his showing against Darkseid (Soulfire) seemed pretty weak in comparison to things acheived in Marevel by Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet. I was left feeling a bit disappointed, and had to laugh it off as the Source entity was defeated so easily by a pantheon of New Gods. As I stated earlier, this sum of power is impressive but it can hardly be called omnipotent universe shifting power. To add to this and make it look more like hyperbole, Darkseid was defeated, whereas a true omnipotent would have the cosmos begging for quarter.
Was it hip or just hype? 🙂

SF Darkseid wielded the power of the entire New God race, thousands of New God souls (many of them much more powerful than the Forever People who made Infinity Man) combined into one exponentially more powerful whole. But as a testament of such power, they did little to even rip the fabric of comic book time space continuity, all that they did was make two plantets merge into one. Not a feat beyond Galactus' scope.
To say that Soulfire Darkseid was a base Darkseid to the 7th power is pushing it, and he would still be beneath the power exibited by Thanos with the infinity Gauntlet, or the Living Tribunal. I say this based solely on feats.
Loads of people that subscribe to the hype of the Source, being this and that need to prove one thing, where are the Sources feats outside of hyperbole and rhetoric? It/he have none to claim true omnipotentance.
The Source powered Infinity Man could only be weighed by his battle with Superman, and I wasn't overly impressed. No one can truly say how much power the Source granted the Infinity Man, and he was on the losing end of the scuffle that he had with Superman, he had to resort to containing Superman in order to finish what he began with the New Gods. I only saw the Infinity Man kill the other New Gods based on stealth and off panel evidence with the exception of Orion, which I might add was also off panel.
Where did The Source Entity warp the fabric of reality, where was he seen as having uitimate power, was he an Abstract being? This I have no doubt of, but the Stranger could also be counted as an Abstract.
Here's a question, how long do you think that it would take for the Classic Beyonder to destroy two planets filled with New Gods? Do you believe that such a feat would be beyond his scope of power?
