Invisibility and the minor telepathy that she possesses would be fruitless weapons against a jedi, though I still can't speak for Samus.
The only provided reasoning so far for her taking it to any Jedi (or Sith, I suppose), or Samus for that matter, would be that she's supposedly herald level, a claim which has now been partially retracted(?).
