That's still the wrong word. You have the right intentions with the word, but that doesn't make it the right word spelled wrong. Vocal versus written once more; Just because you understand a word being said, doesn't make it any more the same if written as something else. Understanding does not equal actuality. The concept is simple. It's basic English: Grammar is the study of how words and their component parts combine to form sentences. Spelling is an entirely different department.
The reason you might be failing to understand this, is that you view English as English. This isn't a true perspective as English, like with any language, is a linguistic symmetry of various components.
Grammar, spelling, vocabulary. While they all belong to the English language, they are different things and shouldn't be confused with one another. The sooner you start viewing them as different components of the same world, the sooner you'll see the difference between grammar and spelling.

Well, if his purpose was to correct someone's general English, then it's ironic. 😛

I thought you had gotten it, until you said this 😛
It's not correct, because Quincy was talking about grammar and punctuation.
If he had complained about bad English, and didn't specify grammar/punctuation, a slight hint of irony could be discovered if innocent mistakes fall into the category of failing at a language.
I wouldn't. I'm not that uptight, as I know Quincy well enough to know that the "s" wasn't due to English inadequacy, but rather because of him just being sloppy. He didn't even capitalize it, like he did the letter after. Conclusion: Mistake. He never meant for it to be there.
In elementary school you have your basic english class where you learn basic grammar and other elements, as well as spelling.

Eight Limbs means Adrian would be attacking with a number of arms and a number of legs. Elbows and knees are not limbs.
Edit: It occurs to me you may have been referring something else. Ignore this.
