Do You Love Your Own Race/Ethnicity?

I dont love my ethnicity anymore, i say f*ck it because its just a complete waste of my time and it didn't do me any good at all.
F*ck all them bastards who say we should stick together but then all of a sudden will stab you in the back literally.

It's those Pakis that i really despise the most, they have no principles and have no honor whatsoever.

BTW i can use the word 'Paki' because i am one. So dont take it that im insulting the entire British Pakistani community because im not, its just that i dont wanna name anybody's name that's all.

Im just gonna turn my back on them and move on to do better things in life.

...

Huh.

Seems like you had some kind of american history x awakening there maj.

Anyway, there's no reason to hate the group either, just judge and associate with people by their character not their ethinicty and supposed loyalty to it. A sense of pertinence to a group can be blinding to the actual character of its individuals.

Yes, you are correct & i just dont anything to do with people like that at all.
There is more to life then just to be pissed off at people because they dont share the same ethnicity as you.

I have a whole new world out there waiting for me to explore & im not gonna let nothing get in my way.

I think social status, ie money has far surpassed honour and dignity as far as any group or nation is concerned.

I don't think I am a classist, although sometimes I catch myself thinking or saying something that could be considered as such.

yes, honour usually amounts to lying to one's self to rationalize one's douchery

😆

massive generalization of the word honor and lack of respect to those who live with honor.

some ppl's views and beliefs is based on this word, just b/c others dont comprehend it or share a similar concept of it does not devalue the word.

what is the world coming to when such concepts are made fun of well other mediocre and harmful principles praised?

Ye, i love to but honestly i don't care what others think.

I love aspects of the culture associated with my ethnicity, because I grew up with those things and they are familiar and beautiful to me. However, I realise that my ethnicity simply represents an accident of birth and take no more pride in it than I do in the country in which I was born.

sometimes its easier to be around people that share the same kind of up bringing as you

Nope. Race is a social construct. How does someone decide what race someone belongs too? That's a serious question. Why is someone with a "white" father, and a "black" mother considered black? It has never made sense to me. at all. Maybe someone can give me their viewpoint? I think we should be beyond race by now, as it only serves to divide countrymen.

You prefer they be referred to as "brown".

Wait.. Color matters?

Matters more than the idea of a "race" defined by culture and custom. Those things change, can be forgotten or cast aside. At least colors are fun to play with.

I have always looked at races and ethnicity indifferently. All are just humans to me 😛
