How young is too young for kids to start going out or dating?

Last night at work there was a group of ten years old sitting upstairs and I was cleaning the table next to them.and they were going on about there boyfriends and saying stuff like makingup and other words.
I was like my gosh.At ten there parents are letting them date?I was not shocked since this seen to be the new thing with kids there age.But it got me thinking and wanting to ask you guys if dating at ten is good or bad and I personally think dating should not happen inless you are inleast mature enough for it and at age sixteen inleast.What do you guys think? 😕

People under sixteen shouldn't date? Lol.

Little kids talk about getting married or dating from the time they're old enough to notice such things. My little brother had a "girlfriend" when he was eight.

They should start dating as soon as they show an interest in humans in that kind of way (legit, not "pretend." It's usually obvious to an observant parent, when they are legitmately interested in other humans.)

Then, up until they are 14-16, they should go in groups or with adults. At 16, they are more the mature enough, on average, to make most adult decisions, imo.

Haha, you think this is a new thing? It isn't.

Kids have been 'dating' at that age for a long time now. I had my first boyfriend when I was 12 (he got mad at me because I wouldn't kiss him, though). My sister is 18 now and has been going out with her boyfriend since she was just barely 15. Pretty much everyone I know dated in middle school.

Not a big deal, and not new.

I had a "girlfriend" when I was about 10ish, she liked my Star Wars toys.

Depends on the age and what their activites that they are doing while dating. But as time goes on the Human Race is getting more messed up. Back in my day 10 year olds didnt smoke and swear like truckers unlike today.

Things take their natural path, even young kids like 11 have "boy-Girl friends", but they don´t really know what it´s about. When they reach 14 or 15 it can go pear shaped with em trying things out a la "doctor games" . Each kid is different maturity wise, so a good education and common sense helped by parental advice is a good way.

QFT. I remember getting handjobs in grade 7-8 from my friends little sister who was a few grades under me. But didnt know what to do after that point, even though I looked at porn and with sex ed I just couldnt make the connection.
