Galactus has to feed to survive. If he should die abraxas would get out and that would also be the end of the uiniverse.

So on your list you have at least two people who do what they do to preserve the universe...

The Comedian is a pretty epic douche. He is smart and understands the world but CHOSE to be a complete butthole. Shooting Kennedy, murdering his pregnant lover, tried to rape Sally etc

Ozzymandius from Watchmen is up there for being a douche bag to the other heroes especially film version but comic version does too.

Mojo is also up there as he is just constantly dicking with people.
