I'm not saying he's an anti-hero because he wears black. Anti-hero is much broader than you think it is.

It covers any and all actions that are less than squeaky clean boyscout.

Including having a contingency plan or violent/threatening interrogations.

Expecting the worst to happen, makes a person cynical, even if it makes one well prepared to deal with the eventuality.
