Replace the bullet with Superman, considering he's faster than one, and that's what would happen to Thor. His weakness to speed was as extreme as his weakness to intelligence.

Oh, it was cannon -I know- but it isn't from the Silver Age. Silver Age Thor was less durable when it came to artillery but only artillery. He could take a punch or an energy blast as well as modern Thor at the very least.
Still, it was a fail on Batdude's part for using that as some kind of low showing of speed.
And Silver Age Thor did not lack intelligence. Shit, he had feats of superhuman intelligence during that era.
Lee's Thor was extremely powerful and very battle savy.

Depends. Sometimes, Superman really could be a dick back then.
He didn't hesitate at hitting Spectre, or Martian Manhunter, or those poor pilots in planes during Superman and Captain Marvels big fight (The pilots were basically trying to stop them from wrecking the city, and Superman's like "Firing on me? I'M SUPERMAN!" *SMASH*)
Granted, he was brainwashed into fighting Cap, so his mind wasn't all there, but he really was dickish like that normally..
Anyways, the balls mostly in Supermans court here. If he strikes first, he wins. If he lets Thor strike first, he should be able to avoid the attack.
Supes is pretty good about dodging magic, when he sees it coming. He's probably even faster then the hammer itself..
But if he lets himself get hit, or for some reason can't avoid an attack, he'll lose for certain.

See, this is the problem I have with pre-crisis Supes. Most people tend to look only at his "solar system-pwning11!!1" feats, and completely disregard his lower showings (and there's a lot of them.)
