They would, if it was an open battlefiend, which is why I made it New York; here, Spider-Man can for the most part reach them, aswell as better defend himself from flames and alike by using the buildings. Spider-Man is very strong, it wouldn't be too good for one of the birds if he got ahold of its neck. It would actually be an interesting debate.

Isn't that only because of some rules forbidding gods and elder gods from using their full powers?
Shinnok was weakening dimensional barriers, and in one Mortal Kombat ending the gods basically destroyed the Earth/universe partying.
