Anyway, conflict could potentially spread to the region, but it's not that likely. They'll just trade missile attacks. If it does spread to the region and let's say turkey and egypt got at it with israel, USA won't take them on either.

The UN as a whole would not intervene on Israel's behalf. The wsc is unlikely to get anything out on the matter, other than calls for peace and an end to hostilities.
