Looks like it's supposed to come out much much sooner than later according to Capcom, which kills my hope for any possible further DLC on RE5.

Still way too soon for my liking.. but yeah. Discuss I guess.

Resi 5 was shit.

It's funny you say that, since most have been under the impression that because 5 was shit to them, 6 won't be any better, despite that RE5 producer Jun Takeuchi won't be having anything to do with it.

I judge every game on it's own merit. RE4 was possibly my favourite of the series... 5 was my least favourite. I'll wait to see how 6 does.

Shit... I'm still planning on getting Skyrim... even though I didn't enjoy either Morrowind or Oblivion.

You liked 5 less than the gun survivor games? 😛

Wonder if I should buy RE4 HD mmm

RE5 sort of annoyed me and I couldn't even beat it, yet I loved 4.

Same here.

RE4 on the Wii was very annoying for me. I much prefer the Gamecube version since the graphics are at their best, in my opinion.

I don't understand all of the RE5 hate. RE5 is, by no means, better than 4, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I have almost 100 hours of playtime, with solo and multiplayer, and over one million dollars.

Many people equate "not as good as a previous entry" with "complete and utter shit."

5 didn't impress me like other Resident Evil games did either, but it was definitely not a bad game.

The graphics are their best in the gamecube? How does that work? How did it annoy you for Wii? I never played it in Gamecube nor Wii.

RE5 annoyed me because they didn't change anything. It was just the same with co-op, and to be honest the robotic movement turned me off. I accepted RE4 because they changed the formula and moved it forward. RE5 just used it and added the Co-Op. I also didn't like the more action-oriented style of the game. Also...I couldn't care less about Chris.

Don't know why I was surprised with it being the same...it being capcom we're talking about.

the graphics on the gamecube were superior and ran smoother than they did on ps2.

Yeah I know that, but he was talking about Wii. I am wondering if the emulator had problems running the game on Wii. If it is an emulator running the GC games.

I just didn't like using the wii remote and nunchuck to move Leon. Having to aim the remote at the screen was very awkward and kinda laggy at times. I especially hated having to wiggle the remote for the quick time events like dodging boulders and avoiding monsters like Del Lago.

you couldn't just use a gamecube pad?

.

I never played any resident evil game other than 5 but I thought it was pretty good.

The story could have been a little stronger but I thought it was an overall good game.

You could've played RE4 or downloaded the classics from the PSN but instead you played that first out of all the Resident Evil games out there. For shame.

No, because it was a Wii exclusive edition. I borrowed it from a friend and I returned it before I even got to Salazar's castle.

I'll play it with you then 🙂, though I'd probably make it too easy. lol
