What's with Capcom trying to promote the "land on your back and shoot while laying there" move so much? It looks retarded and not very practical in a game where mobility is one of the most important aspects of survival.

seems like what your trying to get at is what's the point of that for a Resident Evil game and you can pretty much do that in the Max Payne games

so yeah it can work out for a Resi game.

I'll explain to you why that's irrelevant, since you don't seem to be too bright.

Resident Evil isn't Max Payne. They're two different games with two different styles of game mechanics (despite Capcom's fervent attempts to make them one and the same).

Saying "hurr you can do that in Max Payne so you should be able to do in Resident Evil" is like saying "hurr you can fly in Superman Returns so you should be able to fly in Resident Evil".

They're two different types of games.

They do so have the same gameplay mechanics especally when playing as Chris since he's more the action/horror style

thats just a stupid comparison anyway of course you can't ****en fly in Resident Evil.

You can play zombies and possibly other B.O.W.S in the campaign to stop players from completing a level. Interesting.

Also the Ada Wong campaign has been confirmed and I don't think it's DLC.

I really hope the griefing thing isn't what it will turn in to.

Might try my preorder to the No Hope Left Edition.

This does look pretty good. I always liked stories/games where they reference a previous storyline through interaction instead of text/speech.

One examples is Opposing Forces, the expansion pack for Half-Life. It had a little quips/scripted events that referenced Half-Life. I feel this game would be straight up my alley.

Thank god. That was the only thing I wanted in RE5. I didn't really care that much about the less scary atmosphere/more action oriented theme. It just annoyed me how the gameplay felt dated. Now that my criticism has been dealt with I have no reason not to be hyped over this. Cannot officially wait. The story trailers have done their job in building hype...and well I'm now looking forward to the gameplay BRING IT Capcom!

I can understand being disappointed with no run-and-gun in RE5, but why shun it for that when RE4 didn't have it either?
