Cross Genre Match #13: Wonder Woman vs Bleach

That doesn't look like a mountain given the scale of the plane in comparison. Is there more scans before and after that?

Yea, like Delph I'm unsure. Are there any other scenes before or after that? Or even someone describing the structure she destroyed?

This is closed! Who won?

The majority think WW won, with opinions ranging from 'very solidly' to 'a good fight', with a few diehard Bleach holdouts.

The objective people (namely me) think it's still up in the air because of the nature of the Bleach character's abilities not being exactly Diana's standard fare and the comparisons not quite adding up.

The majority of people posting in this thread have been Wonder Woman supporters (as is typical with this primarily being a comic based forum), however, the comic side having more voices is to be expected.

The perspective is off, but I'm pretty sure that jagged line running across the desert toward the mountain is a river.

Looks more like a large sand dune.

Charlotte provided the scan. I'll ask her.

But I'll say this: sand dunes are made of sand. Not rock.

Also they aren't flying over Saudi Arabia where you'll find massive dunes.

In the Wonder Woman annual, She fought 20 or so very powerful villians who all had more powers than these ninja guys. So they are pretty much toast. She fought a guy who could alter reality, a girl who could scream and destroy mountains, giant women, etc. And this was before she got her lightning powers. All she has to do is zap most of this manga crew. They can't take Zeus's lightning up close and personal.

Please. I provided a dozen+ examples.
True, you provided many scans, many of which do not even come close to addressing the questions posed. I'm not simply ignoring your evidence, I'm dismissing your "evidence" because it's fraudulent.

I ask you to show WW deflecting and tanking massive explosions, you show me her punching a missile and avoiding the blast... I ask you to show her dealing with ridiculous temperatures, you show me her fearing for her life in the face of intense heat... do you see the problem in this?

I don't know shit about geography... but wouldn't a the fact that there is a pretty substantial river running through the landscape mean those aren't sand dunes?

The fact that their shapes are distinctly too rocky to be sand would also preclude the sand dune hypothesis. It's just a case of bad perspective making it look like the mountain is of commensurate size to the plane.

Perhaps hills.

that doesn't even make sense seeing as i asked for something specific and he failed to produce...

that's like you asking me to bring you a golden egg and i bring you a silver egg instead... who's in the wrong here, me or you?

Perhaps hills.

Fairly large hills considering the way the river looks in comparison.

It's not like she shattered Mount Everest, but she did bust a mountain.

If that's a river and not simply a stream, creek, or tributary.

Particularly given the size of the plane in comparison.

considering she can shatter steel, I don't have a hard time believing she can bust a mountain (depending on the size of said mountain).

She destroyed a small mountain, but a mountain nonetheless. Ergo mountain busting isn't a Herald feat.

Hulk is classified as a Low Herald and he once lifted an entire mountain range.

Depends on location.

Along the Nile River or River Niger, for example

Let some of you tell it busting a moon is a low meta feat.

I'm almost certain that Cassandra Cain and Black Canary weren't flying in Africa or the Middle East.

The landscape looks like the Mojave anyway.

Are you talking about Vash Stampede?
