Hero High 3: A New World

Ricardo nodded his head as she explained the matter. "Awww...well, that's too bad. I just hope it's not a mistake and it's just you underestimating your true potential." Ricardo said with confidence, maintaining his light smile. Ricardo wondered why he could read her emotionally, mentally, and physically, but manages to be an elite telepath, a level that most students struggle with after two years with Janet. While trying to figure her out, he felt it was best to apologize to her about what has occurred earlier. It fair enough since Jade approached Ricardo without discomfort and caution, which Ricardo was surprised he did not receive from her. "Jade...I just wanted to once again apologize for what occurred...this morning. I should have known better." He whispered, in order to keep attention from others. His tone was pretty apologetic. Ricardo rarely sounds like this.

Jade's face is tinted with a red shade from an embarrassment in the matter, but she shakes her head and speaks lightly but quickly only after he just apologized. "No it is okay, as I told you. Had I felt something against you for it I would have said something and I can still tell how sorry you are". She tilts her head to the left a little as her hair seems to move flow back down in the area. She moves her right hand up for a moment with her palm facing the floor, her eyes turn toward her hand, and her eyes widen for a swift instant as a shocking wave echos over her hand, seeming to be exerted from it. "What the.." the energy being exerted from her body seems to slowly grow, making the power flicker. As swiftly as it came it disappears, but she looks up, un-nerved, worried, helpless. She thinks to herself, "What was that...?" and she turns to Ricardo with an unsure look in herself, "Did you... see that?"

Ricardo observed Jade's actions with curiosity, beginning to sense a build up below the extent of her palms to the ground. He flinched at the flicker of built up energy. His face was in total confusion until Jade asked him if he saw what just occurred. He looked at her at nodded quickly before pausing and then asking "But why did that happen? Do you know?"

Jade shivered with uncertainty, unsure of many things that are happening now around her. "I... I felt something", as she speaks a faint feeling brisk's through the hallway. Jade continues to remain silent though her body exerts an interesting energy all around her. Though the energy is not visible... it is only too easy to feel. "Ever sense I arrived here I noticed something... odd, about this school. I went to look up more information on it online, but I didn't find anything too out of the normal" Jade's hands now rest on her legs, she looks down at the ground beneath her intently, "I feel like some type of power exists here.. Something that is not supposed to be here, something with an ill intent."

The only person who Ricardo can really think of that actually fits Jade's description was Donny. He looked down at his knees and hands, finding an opening to figuring this all out. Jade may not be the common telepath, but she sense energy and read them like light pulses of some sort, as if they were a language she could understand. Ricardo gave himself a surprised look. He turns to Jade "So...you can sense the presence of just about anyone within the vicinity? No matter the encryption of their mind or no matter how much they try to hide their presence through telepathy?" Ricardo asked this with anticipation of an answer he wants to hear. This may be the chance to actually know if Donny is near by or not...maybe Donny is in the same building as he is.

She remains silent for a moment, keeping her hands on her legs with her body shaking in a slight fear of the thought of what had just passed by. She then without moving her eyes from the ground, makes a light nod to indicate yes to Ricardo's answer. Jade begins to whisper, "I'm not an expert at it, but when I enter an area I have a perimeter that is set... like the distance from one side of a building to the next" she continues on as her energy remains unnerved, never taking her eyes away from the floor. "If anyone enters this perimeter, I can instantly sense them, and separate them from anyone else."

As Ricardo listens to Jade's words, he looked around the room and halls at all the people minding their own business, a few in conversation with one another, students and teachers walking in different directions. As he observed everyone around him, he can imagine the presence...and how it felt to possess knowledge of their circulating energy and the presence they possessed that made sense to Jade even more than it made any sense to Ricardo. No wonder she is so advanced...Ricardo cannot even imagine how powerful she could be if she progressed into a master of her technique...He was pretty sure Janet was going to turn Jade into a legend once she meets her. He snap back into reality, hearing the door being opened by a janitor. He turns to the door being opened and started getting up. As the door opened, he walked into the empty room along with a few other students who followed him inside. He walked over to a desk in the second row/level of the class room. He took two steps up the stair like ground and took his seat, expecting Jade to take a seat next to him.

After noticing the new people as well as Ricardo moving, Jade stands up and walks into the classroom behind them, though she steps back against the wall for a moment to let everyone pass. As they do this, she goes over everything in her mind, thinking carefully about what she will do or say in class, her eyes are tinted with a silver spark to them. She then looks up at Ricardo whom is sitting only at a slight elevation and then looks up the stairs more toward the other seats, questioning herself for a moment then she steps forward. After walking up the few steps she had turned and slid into the seat directly next to Ricardo, though her face is slightly red.

Ricardo ignored the conversation amongst other students, talking about the aspects of the class and few other smart ass remarks being made between one another. Typical telepaths. Ricardo usually ignored it all and tried his best to not stoop to their level. He sensed the nervous tensions building up on Jade the closer she got to her seat. He confidently places his hand on her right shoulder and softly said "Don't be nervous...i'll help you out if anything." Ricardo takes that same hand and puts in his pocket as he turns to the board, seeing notes written on the board. Pretty much the information about the class...Teacher's name, Course Title, and an indication for Students to take a piece of paper from the pile on the desk. He noticed this when he realized a bunch of students getting up and walking over to get one. He turns to Jade and gave her a light smile, trying to change the atmosphere a little as he tilted his head to the direction he was going while he got up off his seat. "Come on." Ricardo walked over to the pile and took a stapled pair of sheets, reading over the class rules, objective, schedule, course evaluation, and Syllabus. He nodded and tilted his head sarcastically as he read the words one by one, pretty much reading the old rules he already knew and skipped to the syllabus, studying the assignments. not bad, although the last half looks pretty new to him. He flips the paper on the front surface. "It doesn't look so bad." Ricardo said.

Jade's eyes remain opened well enough, text seeming to run through her eyes with her mind accepting all the information, taking data from not only the board but the fellow students and the papers. She finally calms herself as her eyes clothes. Jade lets out a sigh of exhaustion from it all as she opens them again, having every rule, every task, every concept fully detailed and understood in her mind. However, despite this appearance of confidence she still sits almost edged on the seat. "How am I supposed to pass off being normal, even in a school like this.."

Rock plays on the street, her brother unable to find her, as always she tends to start fights with those bigger then her. and the news is filled with stories of it

kaida looks up at the sky wanting to learn to fly but wanting someone to be there in case something happened, someone who can help her. She considers asking DJ but she doesn't want to bother him with it

Bonnie goes to see how the students are doing, she watches jade and Ricardo for a moment, the two aren't causing any trouble, no reason for her to bother them, she goes to find Ben, she has the file in her hand, the info she found on Anthony

Anthony is in a tree not far from kaida, watching frustrated and annoyed he cant find his sister, he has searched all over this stupid town, and only THEY know where she is and they wont tell him. he downs an entire bottle of water in one drink and tosses it to the side, so it lands on a large pile of water bottles, for some reason he has been really thirsty lately. he blames it on the stress of trying to find his sister all over again

"Well glad you two found out what this class is going to be, c'ya" Zero said before dashing out of the room, her first class was boring as were her other classes through the day. It was lunch time, Zero grabbed a tray of food and walked out to the court yard, it was quiet there until some guy came with a radio and played an annoying rap song 'Teach me how to Dougie.' The cat girl brow started twitching, this noise is annoying...she thought to herself. Zero walks over to the older boy crossing her arms and glaring trying to keep from punching the guy and smashing the radio.

"Could you please turn that off or put on ear plugs, I would very much like to continue eating in piece." Zero said trying to keep herself calm.

The guy starred at her and laughed, "I don't think I'll do either, why don't you go play in some kitty litter or something," the boy replied. His eyes glowed with fire but his smile didn't leave.

"I see, well we can settle this like the heroes were trying to be," Zero said losing her patients quickly. "But I prefer to act my age..." Zero said snatching the radio from the guy then throwing it on the ground then rapidly stomping on it a few times. "I win.." The feline girl said walking away. To her surprise The guy didn't take it to well, A fire ball was thrown at her, Zero quickly spun around it causing the ball to burst on the ground. Zero smiled, she really hoped this would happen, today was too boring so a fight would make it so much better. The flame user charged another ball and threw it at Zero quickly followed by more but she zig zagged around and was in the guys face, he tried to charge more fire but Zero hit his arm upwards causing his fire to be thrown into the sky the next thing he saw was in elbow in his face. The flame thrower collapsed on the ground knocked out cold, Zero walked over to his face and slapped him a few times before he wake up again. He seemed to be disorientated, "who still carries a radio around anyways...even I have an Ipod. Since I'm a nice person now I guess you can have mine." Zero said and pulled out a black ipod mini and threw it on the guys chest, "Don't worry about paying me back, I have five more that I stol...have." she corrected herself. She put her arms behind her head and walked back to her tray and moved to a different area, she didn't really like that spot anyways.

Harkin raised brow. "Where the hell is she going? One sec baby." She put her hand on James' shoulder, then poofed. She appeared in the courtyard, spotted the boy on the floor, and sighed. "Zero...." She growled. It wasn't hardto find her. Harkin knew the cat girl, considering she had a thing against cat people. "Zero!" She walked over to the kitty cat. "You know the rules... You're only suppose to beat up James." She looked down at her nails. "Besides... I think you smackedhim pretty hard..."

Zero saw Harkin poof in front of her so she climbed the tree that she was beside, she relaxed on the tree branch just above Harkin. The 'kitty girl' started eating the slice of pizza in her tray, "That guy started it he wouldn't stop his radio and I was being nice," she said with a mouth full of pizza. Her tail swayed back and forth, "and besides I gave him my ipod to replace his stupid radio I smashed..." She finished while taking a big gulp of milk.

Donny sat on a table outside a cafe, away from the property he is supposed to be patrolling. But instead, he felt like paying a few people a little visit. He was fully aware of a few things, but knew that he would later find more answers. Donny felt freedom outside of total surveillance and observation of security, Ben, and students who are beginning to dislike Donny. Not only or once being a school jerk, but then becoming a Government official and having to obey Donny for the sake of their academic future in the school. He embraced the freedom of finally not being trapped in a school, but having to stick around in this town changed nothing either. He hated small places...filled with ignorant, small minded individuals with no real outlook outside the town. He was surrounded by total peasants. In comparison to his true stature, they were all peasants and tools. He sensed a few familiar presences but did not want to alarm them at all. Donny was more than aware that he was in the middle of a crossfire where he can either be found by one of Rock's friends or Rock might find him and try to beat him, which of course would never happen. He sighed and gets up, leaving his latte behind on this table and continued through the streets, getting a few looks from people out of intrigue and interest. Donny's sense of fashion and flawless look caught the eyes of just about anyone, but the impressions were always negative, as if there was something totally evil about the individual standing before them. Donny kept walking down the street, anticipating the presence of any of these beings. He was sure they would come looking for her, in order to help her, but he knew it was totally hopeless. Rock was in the streets and feels betrayed. The anguish would have gotten to her. He was ready to play this game with them.

Ricardo turned away from Jade for a second, noticing the presence of Bonnie standing outside the classroom. He watches as she walks away, wondering who that could be. He shook his head with confusion and turns to Jade. "Um...Wait, what do you mean by that?" Ricardo asked, leaning against his arms on the desk with his hair hanging as he tilts his body forward. The students in the class began getting up and approaching the huge window, getting a view of a cat girl by the name of "Zero" scrapping it out with some pyro student. They all made a huge deal out of the scene as Ricardo slowly gets up and tries to get a view by looking over the students blocking the window as he sees the same Cat girl he saw last night who insisted on guiding Jade. He raises his eye brow as every began laughing and cheering her on. Ricardo just watched as walked away and left the poor guy on the ground with no radio and just an iPod he probably does not even want. Ricardo was ready to run out of the classroom but he did not want to skip class on his first day. He sat back down along with the other students as he looked away and shook his head. "Well...that was interesting." Ricardo sighed. He checked his watch, wondering why Janet was talking so long.

Harkin glanced at the boy on the ground.. He had yet to get up. "You gave him a concussion." She turned back to Zero.. She wanted to pull on her tail.

"And I gave him an ipod..." she repeated, she didn't think it was a big deal." The flame user sat up and rubbed his head, he looked around and spotted Zero, "This isn't over you little b****. Ima be back and Ima kick your ass!" the boy yelled taking his new ipod then took off as quickly was he could. "See he's fine, he was even able to threaten me," the cat girl continued her meal now ignoring the witch.

Hitosu continued his chat with Avani until he reached the classroom for Mr Mason "It looks like were here hmmmm thats strange" Hitosu noticed that the classroom was empty no one was in Mr Mason's Class "It seems empty huh"

Jade remained silent at Ricardo's question, trying to avoid further questions being asked upon her on the specific matter.

"I think it is interesting," she whispers as she looks back toward him. "The people at this school, make it feel like a real high school. The only difference in it all is that they have 'Power' with which to do so." Jade closes her eyes, then she allows her energy to flow around her, concentrating her mind on one specific point.

With Jade's concentration heightening, she seems to be illuminated by her own energy, her mind separating; only her body remains in this realm though it remains in its same state. Jade's spirit seems to appear in an alternate realm, yet still exists within the same. Her body seems to virtualize in an 'Empty Space', a dark room with data running through it, like a virtual memory file. Below her is no floor, instead it appears as if she is floating, data streams run through the area. She opens her eyes and tilts her head back to view what appears to cast a large shadow. The giant voice speaks, strong and firm... "What do you seek?

Jade looks to the large unknown being. She speaks lightly but firm, "I don't understand, why am I here? Why am I at this school? I can see that they have their problems, but I can't do anything about that, nor am I meant to."

"Silence." the loud voice sends echoing outward. Although its voice is powerful, it is very calm. "You are here because you are destined, and you will not question destiny"

"I'm not a tool to be used for your meaningless tasks" Jade says with a hint of resentment. "And I don't care about Destiny.. You told the same thing to my grandmother... heh, look what happened to her."

"You will do as you are told, that was the pact that you made, now away with you, 'Pact Maker'!" the voice speaks loud this time, almost as if offended. With the echoing of his voice, Jade's body phases and disappears from the empty space.

Jade's mind is once again within her body with her soul making a full sealing of the two once more. She takes in a deep breath with her eyes opening again, all these events seeming to have occurred in this realm in a mere second. She thinks to herself in anger... "So that's how they want to play it. Well, too bad I'm not one for listening." Jade remains quiet, waiting for class to begin.

Ricardo kept his eyes away from Jade right when he picked up on something very interesting. The other telepaths are incapable of reading an unfamiliar mind, but Ricardo specialized this ability for years and to this day practices on the people he has met. He looked away from Jade and began reading her conscious, translating these thought signals into actual words. He picked up on an obscure voice from...another being within the obscure dialogue between Jade and whoever this individual could be that seems to be telling each other something. the only things she can hear were outer realm thoughts. He remained dazed as Janet walked into the class and went over the usual first day procedure.

(i'm going to speed this up since Big O and Venomancer aren't around to control Janet)

The class lasted an hour. Once dismissed, Ricardo followed the students out of the classroom as Ricardo remained in thought of what he has just heard and tried to make sense of it. He walked slowly enough for Jade to catch up. He checked his watch and noticed the 2o minute spacing in between this dismissal and his next class. He was getting pretty hungry as well. He pulled out his wallet and checked the amount he carried in order to see what he can get with...4 dollars?
