Harkin took her hand from James and dusted her robes off. "Maybe its tme you speak up Sam. Who were you talking too? The one playing the guitar?" She looked over at her daughter.
Vixen stopped dancing and gasped. "Rock got out?! Shes scary." She then realized how tired the dancing made her. She sighed and sat down on the floor in front of Weston. "Tat was fun.." She giggled softly.

"People, please!" Leon snapped at the group. "Could we have some discipline. This is what people in the hero business call 'a situation', so could I have your attention?" In truth he wasn't really angry, just irritated. Sure, most of the people present were teenagers, but he expected them to act a little bit more mature than this.
He glanced around the room. Uriah was waiting for Sam? But she was right there. Leon looked again, and saw why Uriah was confused. Sam was hiding herself. The fact that her parents were there was clearly disturbing her. It couldn't be helped. The more teachers who knew, the better. Leon promised to try and make it up to Sam later. "We will wait for Julien to get here" Leon told the group. "What I'm about to reveal is extremely classified and dangerous. It's not a decision that can be made lightly."
Originally posted by (>^^)>Taking a seat next to Andrew (is he still there?), Ben answered Vixen and Weston while he listened to Harkin and Sam. "Actually, Rock was released by me. For personal reasons shared between me and her, I thought it was in her best intrest if she was released. I was going to inform the members of Strike Force but things began to happen all at once. I am sorry that you all were left out of the loop."
"Is it that Pebbles got out from a looney bin? Or that Lance is chilling around town," James asked, taking a gander at the classified from, his meeting them like 3 minutes earlier. Weston was going to stand quietly and wait, although he loved Vixen dancing against him, then he decided to speak up, "Rock got out?"
(James would know that Rock was in there right?)
At that moment, Julien walked into the room. "Sorry I'm late people, but I was hungry," he said as he took a bite out of a chocolate chip danish.
Sam looked at Harkin with her hood still on she was surprised she didn't know what was Rock, "That girl was Rock, the one that went insane and almost brought the school down on our heads," she said lacking any sensitivity. "Anyways, Lance was there, I wonder where he's been all this time." she stated not really expecting anyone to be listening because Julian had just walked in. She really didn't know how to greet the G.O. was she supposed to salute him or bow or something, would a wave or a peace sign be appropriate, so she just stayed quite. Sam moved over to her parents feeling more comfortable with them, 'Maybe it wouldn't be so bad doing a mission with them after all,' she thought removing her hood.
Bennu stood up from the table as she finished her meal, excusing herself to the gathered students. She cast a quick glance in Eric's direction before continuing to leave. Pryce saw that Bennu was going and joined her a moment later, breaking his eye contact with Eric. What interest could he have in me? Pryce thought. He looked at one of his hands, and the jet black skin that characterized it, and shivered. He was always cold, these days. Could the seal be weakening even more? he wondered worriedly, hurrying out of the cafeteria.
"So, this is the part where we separate for a little while," Bennu said. She'd been transferred to another class at the last minute after her episode at the party. It was a more specialized telepathy based class, focusing mostly on emotions and thoughts and their effects on psionics, as well as controlling one's own. Telepathy II or something like that. Pryce could stand before away from Bennu for a little while, at least, and as long as the rings they wore were close enough, there would be no problems. "Bye," Pryce said as Bennu walked towards the building. Pryce had a study hall this hour, so he was content just going to his room.
Eric finished his meal with no more interruptions. It seemed as though Avani's outburst had painted him in a less than favorable light with the denizens of the cafeteria. Not that he cared for the opinions of others, of course. Too long had the boy immortal learned to count on only what he knew, and right now he knew that he would have no issue with spending the remainder of his lunchtime in solitude. He watched as Bennu and Pryce rose, one after the other, from their seats, locking eyes with each of them before they exited. There was certainly something unique about the boy, but that wasn't saying much in a school of others with unique abilities. However, it was more his personality, and his relationship with the girl that was unusual. They seemed almost inseparable, and Eric would be surprised if he ever found one without the other. He sat within the cafeteria for a while after, letting his food digest and contemplating his next classes...

The speaker looked down at the somewhat sprawling complex that was known as "Hero High", wings flapping idly to keep his lift until he caught a thermal. He remembered when he'd first felt the gathering of powered individuals. He'd done nothing, not then, and not the second time. Both times it seemed some form of disaster had struck. Now it seemed the world's governments were involved now. He wondered how many of them were aware of his presence, and for a moment considered masking his features. There was really no need for it, though. He hand nothing to hide at this point in time, and it might help the young ones to see what could be their future.
"Then let's introduce ourselves," he murmured quietly, furling his wings and letting gravity drag his body down. He fell like a stone towards the open arena of the training grounds, only to spin in mid-air and unfurl his wings, the sudden surface area giving him sufficient lift to slow his descent to a safe speed. A few gentle flaps and the individual had landed gently, the feathered appendages immediately settling behind him. A passive telepathic scan told him that students and teachers had already started their days. It also alerted him to individuals with psionic potential, whether dormant or manifest. A small frown passed over his lips as his brows furrowed in concern. There seemed to be a number of people psionically aware, but with no wards or restriction towards how they use their powers. Out of reflex, he caged his mind, shielding it from any attempts to reach him should one of these psychics notice his scan. He also laced the barrier with resonating psychic energy, allowing him to know where any such contacts came from. This was something he would have to address with the acting dean...

James put a hand on Sam's head and russled her hair a bit. "So what did happen to Lance," James asked as he put his hand down to his side. Weston bounced Vixen's back on his lower legs.

She was searching for a name and came across Xanatos. He was looking for Ben, although he didn't know that. He was also angling to come to the school as a teacher. This didn't quail her. What's your true purpose here, Xanatos? As she tried to scan deeper into his mind, she came to another block. Ever confident in herself and powers, Janet charged ahead. She was appalled to find that she couldn't get through the block. She tried again to no avail. She used more power and her eyes started to glow. Let me in, Xanatos! Nothing. In fact, she was forcefully thrown out of his mind and out of her chair.
As she got off the floor, her class was looking at her with various stares. "Class dismissed for the day." She grabbed her briefcase and stormed out of the room before any of the students could react.

Andy was instantly suspicious when Katt came to get him out of his fourth hour class. He tried to figure what her angle was but couldn't come up with anything. As they got into one of the many cars that was provided to the school from the government, Andy asked, "Where are we going?"
"To the mall," was all Katt said.
"What for?"
"For some stuff." She had a smile playing at the corner of her mouth.
"What kind of stuff," asked in a suspecting tone.
"Does it matter?"
"Yes. I mean, I'm glad you got me out of school early but you could at least tell me what's going on, Katt."
"You'll see." She wasn't even trying to hide her smile now.
Andy folded his arms across his chest and grunted.
Bonnie follows anthony silently as he rushes for the town he was told of, heading for his sister, she keeps track of him silently, already sensing lance. Lance is half the reason she is following this guy, maybe he is with the guys sister. Bonnie really misses lance, and she wants to know if he is okay, mentally as much as physically. Anthony searches the town for his sister finding her as fast as he can, bonnie spots lance and sinks into the ground rising up nearby she slips into the crowd and silently has abit of ground in his sight move, so he knows she is there, if he doesnt already. she waits, letting him deal with rock his way. rock's brother goes for rock and bonnie has the ground stop him, she cant let the boy interfere with lance, lance has to snap her out of this and no one else.

When she fell back to the ground, it was only his peak human agility that kept Simon from falling over. Making his way over to her, he asked, "What is this all about? A dragon who can't fly? Come now, Kaida, I'm sure you can do better than that."
"well, is lance the point of this meeting? or do you have some other big news?" James aked he felt sorry though for lance, losing his son, and love, James was the nicest person after he lost Harkin the first time, and if he lost Sam, he would probably kill anybody remotely responsible, after going off the deep end ofcourse.
"And you still haven't learned how to fly. I don't think its that hard to learn, personally. But what do I know. I can't fly myself." Simon laughed. "But this is a school and you were promised to be taugh how to use your powers and that is what is going to be done.
"As I said before, I think all you need is some excercise. Wings are nothing more than bone and skin that is attached to muscles. If you were to excercise the muscles in your shoulders, I'm pretty sure that you'd be able to attain some lift. But the real question is how would you excercise those muscles? Do you have any ideas?"

It didn't take long for Xanatos to feel contact, and the resonance reached out, following the contact to its source. Before he could be informed in this manner, however, he was taken aback by a sudden surge of psychic force, much more powerful than he'd expected to be dealing with so soon. The cage was ruptured, and he felt the mind of Janet as she introduced herself and arrogantly claimed her power. What she probably wasn't realizing, in her desire to showcase her ability, was that she left herself open. So while she searched for his name, he had already learned hers, along with the names of her closest companions, the extent of her psychic talent, and some of her past.
Once she'd learned of his desire to teach the students here, Xanatos formed a new barrier. Now aware of her power, he would not be so easily intruded upon. She attempted to force her way through, as before, but the barrier held. A second attempt, and he could see Janet was intent to break through. A third time came, with a significant increase in strength, and he'd had enough. At the contact, he threw the barrier forward, stopping the charge and forcing Janet out of his mind for good.
"I'll have to remember to thank her for informing me about Ben," he said to himself, and stepped into the halls. It was easy enough to locate Ben, and with a psychic tracker on the dean, it was only a matter of making his way towards him. It would seem his classes would be starting late. Still, it wouldn't be too much of a problem...
As if reading his mind, Harkin laid her head on James' shoulder. She lost her husband and her daughter. She was lucky to ever see Sam again. But she knew her husband was gone. She went crazy the first time after loosing them... She couldnt imagen what woudl happe if she lost them again. Them being Sam, and maybe a little of James.
Vixen laughd when Weston started bouncing her. "Weee!"

Maybe you can see if one of the new teachers could help you out. She happens to be able to turn into a gargoyle. I would imagine that the both of you share the same flying abilities."
