Ricardo paused for a moment before answering. He could imagine her intentions by the way she is reacting and the loud thump against the door. He sighed and spoke "It's Ricardo...Can we talk? I want to apologize about earlier...i hope this doesn't ruin anything between us. I don't want you get a bad idea of me." Ricardo simply asked. He knew that if she did not want to talk to him face to face, he would have to tell her across the door anyways.

The door remains still and the one behind it, silent. Jade says nothing but continues to think, wondering what to say. She does not hold any ill sentiments toward Ricardo but instead feels embarrassed about the sudden jerking away. What could he possibly think of her now? Nothing seems to be going according to plan so far and there is still a complete questionable relationship between the two of them. Finally the door cracks open and Jade's face can partially be seen at the left and she whispers lightly, closing her eyes again... "Come in, you shouldn't stand out here to talk to me." She opens her door way and offers Ricardo to enter, though questioning herself a bit as to if it is the right thing to do or if she may endanger her own objective.

Ricardo hesitated for a moment before making his way inside Jade's room. Once he entered, he took a look around Jade's room and noticed how much has changed since the last time he has seen it. He stood in the middle of her room, taking a look at the small renovations she made and taking interest in her style and interests. He coughed a bit and turns to Jade. He did not know what to say for a moment...he made it this far, but what must he do now? Ricardo decided to utter out the rest of his thoughts. "Jade..." Ricardo approached her "Listen...I just want to say that i'm really sorry about what I did. You don't really have to worry about anything though...I don't think you're weird or anything. I just wanted to help you feel comfortable, but I guess I was taking it to far. I understand if you do not want to talk to me or even want to be around me...embarrassed about something. But I'll tell you now that I don't really mind nor care. I'm considering the better things about you that you have shown me...and thats a helpful, kind, and interesting individual. And I would like to thank you for everything...Even though we just met, you have helped me in many ways. You healed me, you helped me with money, and helped me with my studies...well...I wish there was a way I can repay you. Hence why I wanted to get to know you more. Not really because i'm bored..." Ricardo stopped his speech, feeling that he was saying far too much for now and awaited a response from Jade as he turns his head away and looks down on the ground, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

Caleb and Uriah walked into the hangar bay after DJ and Leon. Figuring that they would be well taken of once they got to NY, they decided to leave everything behind.

"I've never been to New York before," Uriah said. "I wonder if its anything like what you see in the movies. You know, people bumping into you just so they can swipe your wallet and stuff like that."

"I don't know," Caleb responded. "I just want to try the food. Especially the pizza."

"Its not an all you can eat buffet, its a mission," Julien said as he came into the bay. "Your main priority is to figure what the hell is going on, help out where you can, and then get heck outta dodge."

"We know," Caleb said, rolling his eyes. "But that doesn't mean we can't enjoy ourselves. Jeezs." Julien was an okay guy in his book, but sometimes he was a real killjoy. Way too serious for Caleb's liking. But what was he goning to do?

Ben looked to Harkin and James, "We should go. We have business to discuss with the others about many a things. And do not worry, Sam is a big girl and has proven time and again that she can handel herself. If push comes to shove, some of us will go to NY."

While in mid walk DJ’s body came to sudden halt as his mind began to pick up on what he should have been realized when he placed this uniform on.” So umm just how on earth am I going to get my 6 foot long alien tail through this thing if time comes for me to take that form? I’m sure “Some” people would take offense to me having a hole in this suit. “ His eyes grew small as his fist and chin meet forming a puzzled expression. “ Never mind. I’ll just hex it. “

Janet on the other hand was being watched by the students of hero high. They could tell what was happening since her every step slightly cracked the tiled floor which of course reverted back to normal once she had passed. For a telepath it was easy to always tell when she of all people was having one of those days. * Just who does he think he is reappearing in our lives as if he had the right. If he’s been gone this long why come back now? We was doing just fine but like always life has to throw you a curve ball to knock you off your set*

James turned towards Ben, his face stern,
"i know what she is capable of, she is strong, but we will be going with them, not only to help keep them safe, but secondly because they might need help and we don't know the exact situation and lastly, that interests me," he told him, staring still at ben, then turned his head towards the door with his body,

Ricardo stopped his speech, feeling that he was saying far too much for now and awaited a response from Jade as he turns his head away and looks down on the ground, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

Jade has her arms crossed and her back against the wall, listening to Ricardo talk though wondering about what the purpose of it is. She studies what he says with a focus on the words that he chooses to use, though she can easily understand from what he is saying that he has almost no knowledge of what he wants to say or at least in what way to say it. To her it feels like he is rambling though she still listens but before he can quite finish she let a light 'sigh' slip from her lips and she shakes her head. "I wasn't mad at you to begin with and if I didn't want to talk to you I wouldn't let you anywhere near me.." Jade continues to think but in the meantime she leans forward away from the wall. She wants to explain things to him so that she doesn't have to keep hiding though what is there to say. Instead of explaining it all to him she walks through her room and past him. She thinks to herself, wondering about the school itself. Why does it seem so individualized? People separate themselves from the majority of other fractions... but... why? It makes no sense to her and she knows if her goal is to discover more she won't be able to do it by just sitting around. In deep thought, Jade tries to think of a way to find more information on it. The rest of her objectives for the night were out of the plan as she wasted time running in fear of herself. She turned toward Ricardo... then she questioned him. "You've been here for a while, though not too dreadfully long I can imagine. What exactly is or has happened at this school..?"

Ricardo sighed. Out of all the responses, the past was something he wanted to forget at the moment and progress in life so he can just get out of this school once and for all as a member of Strike Force...But explaining what happened in the past makes him realize how much of a coward he was...fleeing when his comrades needed him the most. Ricardo slowly sits on the ground with both knees risen for his arms to rest on and both hands on top of one another as he leans against a wall, not too far from Jade. To explain this whole story, they would have to take a seat for this one. But he did not care is Jade were still standing. He sighed, as he rubbed his nose and explained.

"I can tell you from my perspective and from what I have heard. About three years ago...when I was 15, I enrolled into this academy and there have been civil differences between cliques of students and teachers at the time, trying to regain control over the academy. I was part of this. I was too young and naive to understand any of this. I felt too confident around these individuals, to the point where I felt I was untouchable, the best student in the school...but that was all an illusion. I never been so wrong in my whole life because this whole rivalry only separated the school. I ended up becoming the fool of my own decisions. Later on, there was an alien invasion as the heroes fought these beings off and saved the world from further destruction, but it left the school pretty damaged to the point of delays. This is where Government began an expanding donation of tax money to the school as the academy became it's own essence of charity and tax destination. Therefore, the reconstruction only took months. This whole experience united the academy as a whole. As if the purpose was to become the future of justice to the world.

As the school year progressed...The world would soon face new challenges, but only this time we faced the inter dimensional threat by the hands of Pintar. I remember I was caught in the middle of an illusion turned into a dimension where I had to end up in battle with my own clone self. It was all too new and frightening to me. I remember asking myself..."Is this what I really want?" I was never so scared in my life. I thought my teenage life would consist of going to a special school for the likes of myself and then just graduate and progress...but In my time staying here, I can tell you now that you must also learn about one thing before even leaving this academy as a graduate...and that is courage....I ended up defeating my own clone but...I fled afterwards...."

Ricardo swallowed hard. The last sentence sounded as if he was ready to sob, but he took his time and began to breath and try to swallow his anguish. He then returned back to normal and continued with the same regular tone.

"All that I know is that group of students, who are now members of an elite defense group to the academy called Strike Force, all ended up defeating Pintar. From that point on, things have changed drastically. Government involvement became obvious now that we are surrounded by officials, our new dean works for the government, this school is being watched over the government, and this whole student body is paid by the government, just so that you and I can even go to school. That's right...the government has paid specifically for us to get into school. All you have to do is register, go through a few tests, and you win yourself a free pass to this school. It's amazing...And now the necessity for the strike force is to protect the school from any further threats occurring within the vicinity. But for all we know, this vicinity will not be the only place threats can occur. So the UN decided to pass an act of creating special academies for gifted souls. However, this act will completely go through if the school passes as a stable learning environment. We are all being watched. If they find enough negatives, they will not open the new schools around the world for other gifted students. So for now, we are surrounded by a bunch of foreign exchange students from all over the world, with gifts. But we do not have enough resources and room to carry them all, so many have had to been crossed off attendance of the school. But with this opportunity, we can open door for them all...And united...We can can take down these threats facing us every now and then. The purpose is not really to become an enforcer of justice...but to also have a place in the end of all this. Somewhere in life, that entity is probably waiting for us."

Ricardo sighed. He could already imagine his life after all this...He's 18 years old, and had to repeat they ear over again so he was gonna have to graduate at 19 years old. Maybe at the age of 20 if there are other courses he is not aware of. He shook his head and stood silent.

Jade remained silent through the whole discussion having listened carefully. The information that she was seeking to make her move was readily gathered and she could now prepare a plan, though even if she had a plan she would not be able to act on it alone. "Thank you, at least now I'm not in a school that I don't understand." Jade smiles and bows to Ricardo, then helps him back up after the long story. "It's late now and I should probably get to sleep. So I'll see you tomorrow maybe, right?" Jade mentions her interest to see Ricardo again, with an interested look in her eyes.

Ricardo nodded his head in agreement, still keeping a confused look on his face as his looked away for a second towards the door and thought of what he will do next. He began to wonder why he was being dismissed so quickly, as those thoughts turned into speculations once he realized that giving her this information did not bring up any conversation. He tried to reverse himself with Jade, and wonder the motives if he were to do the same. It was obvious that she just wanted information and nothing more, as if she did not really consider the point of him being here. He did not really think too much into it. He turns to Jade the next second as she finished her question.

"Right...right...Take care then." Ricardo said softly as he slowly began walking towards the door, opening it himself. He then walks out and closes the door behind him as he began making his way towards the direction of the exit of the building. It was 9 PM and the night was still young. He thought that he could probably go and take his daily walk around the school and maybe into the woods. This whole problem will soon fade out once he does this. Probably put his thoughts towards other things for now.

After leaving, Jade continued to wait. She remained still. She was all too aware that Ricardo had become suspicious of her reasons for asking but she did indeed have her reasons and she knew that she would have to keep them to herself. It was not all about keeping herself safe but for the other people involved in it all. What were the plans of this mysterious group of people that Jade referred to as 'they', and what did these people want her to do? Nothing was quite obvious nor was it so blunt... she knew that if she were to make a move it would have to be quick and decisive enough to make an impact. She noticed Ricardo's exit of the room and soon the building, taking this as a sign that she had the go-orders. Without wasting time, she pulled herself up onto her feet to stand and took a position in front of a mirror. Nothing was quite so difficult for her as to look at her face after having had it scarred. Despite this, Jade mustered up the strength and lifted her hand to her face. At first the palm of her hand had just gently caressed over the scarf and almost to the cheek, letting her fingertips touch her skin... this much at least was clear. She had lightly tucked her fingertips beneath the scarf and pulled it down to her neck and she saw it once more... the Scar that had been left on her cheek, the scar unique in the way that it could not have been made by conditional means. With this, the scar began to burn with a red energy being illuminated from it. This hurt Jade and again caused her to flinch. At the sign of this, the same scar seem to form across the mirror, though the mirror blackened... it was now much more like a portal. In the center of the blackened mirror was a fire-toned rift of three blade marks significant in their own right. Jade appeared fearful but had extended her hand out to the mark, her fingertips nearly just grazing the surface of it. Just as she prepared to touch it, her vision went dark... Nothing but a scream could be heard.
-----Jade's Transformation-----
inside of Jade's room, she stumbled back from the mirror, seeming to be in pain now. Everything else in the room appeared normal, an odd seen for anyone who would have viewed it. She moves her hand to her face again, holding it over her cheek as if to suppress the pain that radiated so painfully from it. Though something new was happening, she seemed as if she was changing. Quickly, the scar began to spread. Marking's soon began to appear downward from her cheek to her neck, looking like long cuts through her skin created from that of a blade; they illuminated the same power and color as the scar. Down her right shoulder, the marks appeared more, ripping through the right shoulder section of her shirt and leaving it bare, then further down her arm. The mark was spreading like wild fire. Jade was in fear, falling onto the ground, screaming more. More and more, falling into tears, unable to control herself. Jade could not bare this... her body felt as if it was being torn apart. Why did she do this? Could she perhaps not have had a choice? Perhaps she was being controlled, though her mind had still remained in tact. She gripped at the floor with her left hand and raised her right arm, the arm that was being absorbed into the power, and thrusted it out further to the right, holding it away from her as it was consumed in the power until the flesh of her arm was completely engulfed in the marks over her soft skin. The mark at her cheek seemed to wrap around her eye, many of the scars on her body now transforming rather into symbols of a different sort. Her hair became burned by an azure flame that burned along it most of the way until her hair went no further than past her neck. It was cut in a very crude fashion, leaving the tips of them black from the burning flame. She was in pain and enraged, with such anger she quickly tore herself back toward her bed, striking her darkened arm out to the wall, her palm was wide open and her fingers were curled. The power of her arm echoed out to show its own strength, obliterating the reinforced wall of her own room though controlling it from harming anymore. She collapsed only half on her bed, exhausted from the pain of it all.

Ben had a blank stare on his face in response to James. "I really do not think that is a good idea because tey need to gain the experience to do things on their own. After all, we only got as good as we did without any help. But I cannot stop you. If you want to go, you are free to do so."

"there is a difference between letting them grow, and sending them alone, as good as they may be they need somebody like us there incase something goes south, to guide them, I just want to be there incase the small chance of something going south, turns into a reality," he told ben before turning towards harkin, "we should go to our room and grab a few things before leaving,"

Zero's day ended well she had a little homework but she was able to finish it at the schools librariy. She walked back to her dorm passing Ricardo she didn't say anything to him but she nodded to him igknowledge him, she continued on her way she was a bit tired and ready to lay down, after a night sleeping in the laundry room she looked forward to a nice soft bed. As she touched the door she heard a scream coming from inside her room, she quickly opened the door to see Jade hit the wall and fall into bed. The girl looked different tuen the last she seen her. Zero walked to Jades side of the room and stood at the foot of her bed, "hey are you ok do you want me to get the nurse," she asked somberly trying to seem calm.

Gaku smiled back at same Gaku thought who better to teach a person who can turn into a dragon to fly then someone who can do the same. He cracked his neck from side to side to ready himself to teach her even though he wasn't certified. But first he had to get a clear understanding of how much she could do. "Well to be truth i have been able to fly since i was seven but i can help but so far how much can you do well we both know you can turn into a dragon but with your wings how long does it take you to form them this is important and you must remember don't think about pulling them out imagine it." The truth was he was going to scold her if she didn't do the things he ask by flicking her in the head he seen it in a movie and wanted to do it. Gaku was so pumped about helping her but wanted to stay professional for both their sakes.

meanwhile..

A lone hodded figure was making his way through the city streets. The sounds of creaking metallic wheels turning over the sidewalk following him. The dark black cloak covering his frame and head kept away the chance for a good view of him. He was tall, and moved with a slow caution. To each side of himself be pulled two large trunks, quite obviously unique and handmade. He was quite literally traveling with everything he owned. When he passed under a streetlamp at the proper angle, a glint of metal could be seen under his hood. The figure kept far away from every person out that night, pulling himself and his belongings into side alleyways until they passed him by. His body language displayed a hesitation when others got close, and he lowered his head so as to avoid any eye contact.

Tobias had been through alot these last many years, and his thoughts were now focused on his destination. He had traveled far and hard to get here, and now he was close to his destination. He was living on the other side of the country when he started hearing rumors of this place. This school. This... facility. He heard this place was some kind of college to help people like him. To help people with powers. People like him. Perhaps someone here could help him keep the blackness at bay. This would be his last hope to attempt a normal life.

He stopped suddenly, realising he was now standing at the sidewalk of the school itself. Being this late at night, he felt he could move with relative ease and safety. Though there did seem to quite a few people still active on campus. This next step was going to be hard. Interaction with others was always difficult for him, due to his power and his appearance. It seemed he would have to ask someone for help soon as he didnt know exactly who to talk to, or the process of enrolling. His body language presented his obvious confusion. He looked around, trying to find someone who was by themself to talk to. It was always easier to talk to one person than many.

Eric's day had resumed its uneventful trend after the fiasco in the cafeteria, and with things winding down, he felt a desire for fresh air. Truthfully, it was one of the few peaceful luxuries the boy immortal could indulge. He pulled the open the door to the entrance and wandered out, eyes closed and nostrils flaring as he breathed deep. He would stay here for a time, and just enjoy the night air. Who would think to bother him now?

The dark figure looked up as someone exiting the front hall doors, and quickly wished he hadnt. He knew it was only the effect of his own power warping the reality of this persons visage, but all the same, the effect was powerful. For the brief flash the hooded figure saw of this man, it was like looking at a ghoul. His body appeared to the hooded figure as a large and sinewy creature, with jagged bones protruding over its body, and a wicked tail. Claws and fangs and fear personified, and with an air about him that chilled the cloaked one to his core. It felt as if this being had something about him that was like a mummified creature. Something unfathomable and dark as an elder god of chaos.

The figure was physically shaking now, but this may be the only chance he had. He steeled himself for this interaction and did his best to not look at this person again, left his own fear and power overwhelm him. He raised a very wrapped and bound arm into the air, attempting to signal this visage of terror he saw. He spoke with a quiet tone, voice fighting to keep steady.

"E.. Excuse me. Would you mind possibly helping me? My name is Tobias, and I was trying to find the head office of this place to enroll. I.. have never been here before, and I'm very lost at what to do next. I would greatly appreciate your help, but if you're too busy, I understand."

"Ok we are here Andy." Once the car was turned off Katt turned to face Andy. She still wore that semi-cocky grin. "So I'll give you one chance to see into the furture and prepare yourself. Though I think your going to enjoy this as much as I am. Now enough chit chat. Let's get a move on before the crowds leave."

Zero walked to Jades side of the room and stood at the foot of her bed, "hey are you ok do you want me to get the nurse," she asked somberly trying to seem calm.

Jades body moved up only a little with her head swiftly turning so only the right side of her face is seen, although the lower section of her face is behind her shoulder as she remains in a slouching posture. She seems to say in a low yet angry voice... "Don't touch me." An immense strength quickly arises from Jade's body from the swift release of strength. This power seems to burst out in an unbearable amount which forcefully hurls Zero away from the bed and out the door, back into the hallway where the force of the power forced her body through the wall which made a large crater. Jade... in this form, did not like being touched. She had no true control of her power or her emotions at this point. She moved herself back onto the bed and pushed her arms against the mattress, pulling herself up onto her feet. What would she do now? She had no control, no self thought. Her general discussion of herself within her own mind was now useless. With this she walked to the hole she made in the wall to the outside and extended her marked arm. The symbols along it began to glow... they exerted another force outward which created what had seemed to be a worm hole of pure red swirling energy by using her own telekinetic power. She steps forward into the slivering hole and seems to fade, disappearing. But where did she go? Her objective was to investigate the school... nothing would make sense if she were to leave it. She was looking for something.. or someone.
