Just now leaving the Hangar Bay, Ben felt it just before it happened. A wave of fear so strong, there was no way to avoid it. The strange thing about it though, was the fact that the source of the fear had vanished but there was still a link present.
But in the midst of Ben sensing this, he fell into the same pattern of fear. A giant black bear, which was the size of a stree light, had appeared in front of him. His mother and father's face were seen in the bears chest cavity and Katt and Andy were running towards him. Just before they reached him, the bear devoured them.
It was at that moment that Ben felt a burst of magical, mental energy erupt from him. He felt the fear expand from him, boosted by the effects of the link he sensed before. Ben could feel every person that his fear was reaching and that it extended far outside of the school.
He felt it when the fear hit a small coffee shop in the near by town and when it washed across the quaint, little surburb a few blocks later. He didn't know how to stop himself. Itwas almost like he had no control. The mall was then enveloped. It was sheer chaous.

In his room, Greg had dozed off. All of a sudden he felt such a wave of fear that it jolted him out of his slumber and a flash of lightning streaked across the sky. Greg didn't know what was going on. His room was filled crocodiles when and there was nowhere for him to run to because the rest of the room suddenly vanished.
Panic instantly over took him and more flashes of lightning and thunder bursted. Greg shot bolt after bolt of lightning at the giant lizards but it appeared to do little, if any, harm to them. He was looking for a place to get away and that was when a window appeared out of thin air behind him. He tossed himself threw it and realized that he was falling.
He was screaming with every ounce of breath that he had. It hit him how ever that he could use a burst of wind to soften the landing. Never attemping it before, he aimed a funnel of wind below him and summoned as much as he could muster. Unfortunately, Greg didn't stop falling. In fact, he never seemed to reach the ground and the crocs were slowly making their way towards him.

Andy was proud of himself. He had a pretty decent amount of clothes and still had a nice chunk of change left. Leaving out of the Areopostal store, he was about to go to the store Katt said she'd be in but saw her walking out with a few bags herself. Just then, screams broke out all over the mall.
Andy didn't know what was going on and started to run over to Katt but was bumped by a woman who was bloodied up and had scratches all over her face. When Andy turned to see what she was running from, he saw one of the people who had attacked the downtown area a few years back and killed his parents. That was when the scene shifted and it truned into that frightful day.
First, Andy thought that he had caused a time ripple and tried to shift time back but nothing happened. That was when he got scared. "What's going on, Katt?" There was panic clear in his voice.

Caleb was waiting in the jet when a bunch of frogs appeared out of no where. He screamed and hopped up hin a chair. "Somebody get 'em. Somebody get 'em. Somebody get 'em," he repeated over and over again.
Uriah looked over to him and saw nothing but a pitbull growling at him. "Whoa," he yelped as he jumped over his seat and made his way out of the jet. He was stumbling and falling all over the place.

Ben tried to get a hold of himself. If he didn't, things would just get increasingly worse. So, in a last ditch effort, he casted a simple spell. All but forgetting the giant bear, continuosly reminding himself that it wasn't real, teleported himself above the school. What he saw was utted chaous. There was a few times that he almost got zapped by a bolt of lightning and saw that it was coming from a kid who was floating in the sky. There was a startling funnel of wind forming under him and that only served to steel Ben in what he had to do.
Flying higher into the sky to get a better reach, he sensed the presence of the one who was boosting his very own abilities. The effects were not as potent and it felt as if the man was simply an echo of what could have been but still, there was something than needed to be done.
Ben's eyes shifted to pure black. This often meant that he was drawing on a great amount of power. He held his hands up and whispered, "Sleep..."
A blue mist formed around his hands. Uttering it again, "Sleep...,"the mist flowed from his hands and mouth quickly and silently and stalked towards the school. Saying it one final time, "Sleep...," the blue mist gained in speed and quantity until it engulfed the entire area the fear outbreak was present in. People began to gradually fall into a deep slumber.
The boy who was flying in the air a causing the dangerous weather snak slowly back to the ground and fell asleep. All of the people all over the school suddenly layed down and fell asleep, as well. Over in the neighboring town, the chaous soon gave way to the blue mist and everything instantly quieted down and everyone fell asleep as well.
Ben could feel the fear effect end as soon as the people went to sleep. When everything was quiet and Ben could concentrate again, he casted another spell:
"Let the objects of objection
Become but a dream,
As I cause the seen
To be unseen."
All of the resulting fires and car accidents were magically put out and cleaned up. All of the broken windows were fixed and everything that was not where it should have been was returned to its rightful place. In one final mass spell, Ben sent out a huge healing spell that reached everyone that the blue mist touched. It was a specific spell that only fixed anyone who was affected and in turn were caused harm by the fear outbreak.
That was what drained Ben and he himself fell to the ground hard and fell into a deep sleep that was nothing more than him regaining his energy. The sleep spell only lasted for as long as it needed to and everyone would awaken when they felt ready to.
