Hero High 3: A New World

Janet was sure since the effects of last night would have caused some mental effects. This alone was reason for her to head toward her secondary office which was located in the medical bay. As she passed student after student she could feel their utter confusion. It seemed they understood bits and pieces of the events which she was understanding more about as she listened to their whispering thoughts. What she hadn’t found out yet was what caused the vanishing of the few beings. What caused the mass fear. Though she understood that a blue mist seemed to be locked inside their subconscious. This must have had been the source of the confusion. Once inside the elevator she stood there still trying to figure out what had exactly happened which was proving to be a pain. As the doors opened she walked down the long metallic hall wondering just how many students would be lined up just for her to help console them. She was more so shocked to see Sam, Ricardo and another student. “ What is going on here?”

“Alright Andy home sweet home. Now let’s go get some answers as to last night. If we don’t get any maybe the future you might have some answers and who to deal with. More importantly lets find your Ben.”

Sam blinked as Ricardo spoke, she had an urge to yell at him and tell him to stop being afraid but she shook those feelings aide. As Ricardo moved the spot light moved with him, naturally Sam moved closer to the light not wanting to be scared in the dark too. "Being afraid happens to everyone! and everyone gets bullied! like this one time this older kid try to steal my lunch munny...and I was scared but you know what I did? I socked him in the nose," she giggled into her hands."you can't stand up to the meanie and the scary girl if you just seat here in a dark scary room, you'll just get more scared silly." Sam didn't know why she was talking like a child but she went with it, "anyways my name is Sam, you know me, we go to school together remember," she gave Ricardo a smile. "I was just healing you and then pew! I'm in this dark room with you...and that light." Sam points her tiny fingers at the spot light. "Maybe you can share the light with me, I'm not afraid or anything...I just like the light better then the dark," Sam walked slowly toward Ricardo so as not to scare him anymore then he was already.

Avani had washed the blood off of Eric and tried her best to dress his wounds but she could only do so much, she looks at his face "I hope you we'll be alright..." she whispers. She turns to Zero and cleans her long cut going from her bottom neck line to the mid stomach, it seem to have been caused by one of her sharp nails. Suddenly she hears some one come in through the doors which caused her to jump, she turns to see Janet the schools nurse. "Thank the heavens you are finally here, these students are in horrible shape, Sam is healing Ricardo right now and..." she turns and sees Sam fore head to forehead with Ricardo, light covering both head to toe. "uh whats going on with them?" Avani asked confused not knowing if this was apart of Sam's healing procedure.

The child version of Ricardo tilted his head as he listens to the girl. When she talked about fear in her childish definition, he found it a bit humorous that it caused him to chuckle with her when talking about punching a kid and laughed about it to herself. But that sense of positivity faded rather quickly once he was back to realizing why he was here. He became worse to find out that he was being treated like a person with a problem...one of those patients who have to undergo a special treatment. It angered Ricardo in a way where he was in denial of his own problems. He could not admit it. He also began to realize how he was expressing himself. He was talking like a child due to his immature ideas and concepts and possessing the same level of intelligence at the same time. It was all too weird to Ricardo. Ricardo nodded to Sam at both questions. When being directed towards the light, he noticed that it was pointing directly above him. It spotlights him and followed him at every step he took back. He was then ordered to lead the light over to Sam so they can both share it. Ricardo turns to Sam and then the light while hugging himself, frowning. He looked straight at Sam and sighed. He began walking forward slowly and keeping his eye every now and then at the light as it followed him. He finally reaches Sam and the spotlight illuminated above both of them. "You're welcome...And thank you..." Ricardo said with a nervous smile. He kept a hold of himself though, looking around nervously.

Katt paused in mid walk as she turned to face Andy. “ I understand how your powers work but what does that have to do with the adult you? Chances are big Andy would should know this, and god that stinks. I still can sense the fear in this place. Be glad your not like me. Now back to finding Ben.” Katt lightly sniffed the air for that intoxicating scent of her husband. The amount of scents lingering around caused her nose to work harder on picking up this scent till her eyes shifted into their feline counter part. “There you are. Deans Office Andy. “

“Yes I know. I thank you and Sam for being here. Now let’s see what can I do here. Does anyone know what happened to these students.?” While she spoke a hologram appeared with each student file. She quickly began to touch the air dragging the files to and fro.” Ricardo psychic, Zero feral speedster hybrid, and Eric.. This one I don’t know yet. Immortality I believe. I’ll have to reprogram him into the file.”

Ben sensed Katt almost as soon as she woke up. The feeling was intensified the closer she got to the school. He also could sense Andy and the both of them were looking for him. He was anxious to see the both of them and make sure that neither of them were harmed in any way. But he was caught up in a meeting with the new teacher, Xanatos.

Sam smiled and jumped into the light she was glad he shared with her it was scary in the dark she thought to herself. She laughed at herself being afraid of something she controlled, she suddenly had a flash back to when she killed her foster parents when she was not able to control her darkness, she shook it off and began to push Ricardo forward. "we have to find an exit this place sucks!" she said moving forward. "see all you have to do is move and face forward cause looking back you hurt your neck a probably bump into something and fall down." After a few moments the saw an exit sign and the light expanded revealing two figures, one Donny the other Jade..."who are these people?" she asked.

Ben eyed the boy. If he hadn't been expecting a new teacher, he would have kicked the kid out of his office. But something about the way the child carried himself and spoke gave Ben an inkling of who he was. "I take it that you are the new teacher, Xanatos. I have to admit that you are not what I expected. But then again, I am desensitized to strange by now. I also like how you get straight to business because I was just about to try to figure that out myself. Now what information do you have for me?"

Xanatos only nodded a confirmation at Ben's guess of his status in the school, instead continuing what they both knew to be possibly the highest priority information.

"The source of the choas can be linked to two individuals," he said, "one a student of this facility, and the other who had just arrived and was seeking to enroll here. I hope you will forgive the intrusion, but a visual would help you understand the situation immensely, and the easiest method of that is...well..." Xanatos utilized his passive contact with Ben's mind, accessing the man's visual centers to literally project images of what he described. With this done, the winged figure continued.

"The student goes by the name of Jade Kameko. Her known power was the manipulation of the electromagnetic spectrum, but recently she's been seen manifesting unknown and unrelated abilities, such as some form of teleportation." As Xanatos spoke, Ben's vision flashed to a picture of Jade, and then he saw as if replayed like a video the black pits dragging into various students, only to have them reappear moments later.

"This even affected a number of the students, and also one newcomer," he continued, and in Ben's vision flickered the image of the wrapped and bound boy, with mask on his face. "The boy is apparently called Tobias, and he is the one responsible for the greater chaos that engulfed the school and local areas." The vision shifted to the boy rising from the wall of the enrollment office, mask slipping off, before the image cut.

Xanatos walked towards Ben and stopped directly before him, his blank white eyes staring directly at Ben's. "There are three things you must know about this child," he said, his voice intensely serious, "First, as you have witnessed, his is the ability to manifest the greatest fears of whoever is within range. Second, this boy's power is a psionic parasite. It will tap into the power of anyone who wields powers of the mind and use it to strengthen itself. From affecting only me, I can tell you that this power was able to reach beyond the suburbs, into the nearest metropolis. The dangers of this boy's ability cannot be underestimated."

Xanatos took a step back and exhaled, closing his eyes to visibly calm himself. When he opened them again, it was clear that his demeanor had softened, as though he was feeling a great sadness. His shoulders had slouched forward, and even his wings seemed to droop as he finally concluded his explanation, "The third point, and possibly the most important one you must know about this boy, Tobias. He is utterly, completely, and absolutely in no control of his power. His attire, particularly his mask," he held up the steel visage in his hand as he said this, "was apparently made in an effort to bind his abilities. Whatever is to be done, we must help him."

Sam was talking with Leon when she heard the plea for help then the horrifying yelling and screaming afterwards, "was that Avani...and Ricardo?!" her eyes widen as she disappeared in a poof of shadows and reappeared in the corner of the infirmary.

With a worried look on his face and shivers beginning to go down his spine as he was being pushed forward deeper in the dimension, he nodded at Sam as she continued her logic and agreed with her. Suddenly, he noticed her pointing at two figures before her...Jade and Donny. He still felt very confused about Jade since he was unsure of her intentions when she sent him down the vortex. However, Ricardo was totally caught off guard by the image of Donny and began trying to runaway but he stopped. He realized the error of his own ways and how this will not solve anything if he ran away. He wanted to get out of here...even without his powers, he had to face his fears and fight Donny here in this obscure dimension, even if it meant getting hurt and being over powered as a powerless child. Ricardo took a while to answer Sam before he said "That's....Donny." Ricardo said pointing at Donny. "He's not my torturer...he's my rival." Ricardo said with a bit determination before running forward, forming a fist, jumping up an incredible height and punching the image in its nose. As he did, an exploding lights blows both Ricardo and Sam back. He took a hold of Sam as they were being sent back.

In the flesh, Ricardo widens his eyes with his arm around Sam and sits up. Hr realizes that he was on a cot in a nurse's office. He looked up at a presence and realizes it to be Janet, his teacher. "Janet..." Ricardo said lightly. He rubbed his eyes and noticed Avani there as well. He turned to his left and saw Zero and Eric. Coincidentally, people who he has met so far this school year. Ricardo lets go of Sam and gently lies her head on the cot until she awakens. "Janet...what happened last night?"

After Ricardo said that, Leon's announcement was heard throughout the school.

Donny and other Government Officials stopped what they were doing, putting the volume down and temporarily stopping the games as they all heard the voice of Leon, explaining "Event" from last night and that he was asking for the GOs that were aware of the events to report to the equipment room. A large handful of them began making their ways out while other GO's outside the lounge must be making their ways to the equipment room. A large group of black uniforms will be crowding the halls so at this point, it was a sign of real trouble. Donny took a moment to think of the announcement before deciding to follow the other officials to the equipment room, wanting to hear in to the questionable events from yesterday. It was all too odd to Donny that he could not sense any live pretenses in his vicinity to actually capture any notice upon what things were occurring. Donny was more than curious. More curious than ever. He grabbed his coffee, stood up, and made his way out the room as the last one out, leaving no GO in the lounge.

Teara heard Leon's Announcement. "Bushido I have to attend this meeting can you please go to the registration for your class program ok".

Bushido Replied " Ok mom" Bushido made his way to the registration office. "Everything seems dead here but why" EW-13 made it to the registration "Hello, excuse me, is anyone here to help me I need a class schedule".

Teara was on her way to the equipment room and bumped into Hitosu that was on his way as well

Hitosu bumped into the lady still disoriented from his long sleep "I'm sorry ma'am please accept my apology"

Teara looked at the boy weird "its ok" She smiled happily for she was happy and nervous about the meetings message "Are you apart of Strike Force"

Hitosu answered Teara's "Yes I am and are you a new teacher?"

Teara answered "No I work for the Government I was here to drop off my son then I heard this announcement and it seemed important any let's go in shall we?"

Both Hitosu and Teara entered the Equipment

Okazu awakened from underground hiding from Donny he didn't realize he fell asleep *What a crazy first day.................. I HAVE TO GET MY PROGRAM*. Okazu burrowed his way out of his hole. Okazu was out from the ground and rushed to his room and looked at his door "Bushido so now i have a roommate sweet I better shower and get to the admissions office. One quick shower later Okazu headed for the admission's office he went into the room and waited he saw Bushido but just fell asleep on the chair waiting .

Katt opened the office door giving Tori a faint smile who also just so happened to be in the office.” Ok Andy lets wait right here.” She already had heard just about everything Xanatos had said while she was in the hall. Great thing about feral hearing was she could hear what she needed to but bad thing was she could hear what she didn’t want to hear.

“Well you all have the right to know. Last night several students mainly you all that I have a closer student teacher relationship with vanished. Then reappeared. Harkin and myself went to find out what had caused this upon m arrival back I have felt fear from each and every last being in this school. Meta-human and human being alike. I’m still working on finding out what happened. Another common thought I’m finding is a blue mist. I have my own idea’s as to what set these events in motion but that isn’t for me to tell. Now lets try to nurse you all back to tip top health.” Janet looked up at the sound of the strike force calling.” Reminds me of when I was always rushing off to fight. Though we never sounded so annoyingly rude. Anyway good luck Sam. If any of you need me remember to use the psy-link. I’ll give my best advice if needed.”

“Yeah well unless your gonna play flight attendant Leon I advise you at least take in the fact some of us need to eat from energy to use our powers. I believe that’s what’s Caleb is off doing and I know after last night dream I’m going to need to energy unless you want me to end up hexing everyone around me.” DJ turned around and pointed toward the jet causing black mystic symbols to glow on the jet. * That should keep us grounded for enough time to grab something to chow on*

Sam woke up in such a shock she fell off the bed "what the ffff" she started to say but she cut herself short when she noticed Janet. She quickly got to her feet rubbing her behind, "that was odd..." just then she heard Leon over the speaker, "oh shit I almost forgot," she rushed over to Eric and laid her hands on the boys forehead and chest and let the healing light wash over him healing any wounds he might have.

Zero groans and sits up she looks around and couldn't remember how she got there, all she knew is she was in a lot of pain. The feline hybrid tried to get out of the bed but was only met with a harsh pain in the back of her head she didn't even notice the long cut on her chest and stomach.

Sam is just finishing with Eric when she notices Zero try to get up, "hey lay back down your not going anywhere till I'm down with you," Sam said gently laying Zero back down. The feline hybrid wanted to fight her she didn't want her help but she couldn't even raise a hand, Zero laid back down and just shut her eyes she was so messed up she couldn't even come up with a smart ass remark. Sam started healing Zero just like she did the others and tried not to rush it, "I didn't know you were back, we should hang out some time." Sam stated finishing up. Zero opened an eye to look up at Sam , "yeah we can go get our nails down and get coffee..." the hybrid said with sarcasm. Sam smiled catching Zero's sarcasm, "great, we'll go when I get back from New York."

Sam turned to Janet she tried to keep a polite smile up, Sam didn't really like the woman but she did respect her and her powers she knew she was strong enough to suppress her mom. "Well it seems Ricardo is doing a lot better from when I first arrived. I healed Eric from some stab wounds but...he is still out, his mental state seems to be and bad shape, most likely from the events of last night and unfortunately I am not able to repair his mind." Sam finishes with a bow of respect, "I leave the rest in your capable hands Ms. Miles..." Sam didn't wait for a response before disappearing in a puff of shadows.

Avani looks up at Sam and blinks as she talks she could hear the girls dislike in her voice, I wonder whats up with Sam, Avani thought herself.She put a hand on Eric's shoulder and took one last look at him before turning to Ricardo "I hope you are alright, you gave me quite a scare." the girls voice was back to being calm and her face was serene.

"well its been fun," Zero said sarcastically getting off the bed on to her feet, the room started spinning causing Zero to fall into a crouch she kept herself from falling with a hand on the floor and the other hand was on her head. "Damn it I thought that annoying girl healed me..." Zero said with an frustration,

Sam appeared behind Leon, "so are we all ready to go?" she asked trying to get mentally prepared for the mission ahead,

Ricardo kept his head down the entire time, putting all his thought into the faded memories of what has occurred last night. He shook he head, unable to believe what he was hearing from Janet. As Sam and Janet left, he noticed Zero get up and hurt herself once more. Her will was all based on her arrogance to leave and not receive any help. He noticed Eric still unconcious and then down to himself, noticing that we was wearing nothing but boxers and and a sleeveless shirt. He felt a bit awkward dressed like this around strangers as he tries to cover himself by placing his arms above his thighs and torso. He then turns to Avani as she spoke to him. "Fortunately, I am alright. Sorry if I scared you. I was just out of my mind...and for a psychic such as myself, I should be able to adapt myself mentally. But the images really affected me..." Ricardo did not want to go further and talk about how he was close to dying. He did not want to be admitted anywhere else. He wanted to spend some time trying to get answers about what has occurred...He also remembers Jade...Then Donny...then...Ricardo's mind went blank as he kept thinking, feeling cold in the room with very little clothes on.

Donny and the rest of the Government Officials, staff, Strike Force members and teachers huddled into the large equipment room. Donny stood in the front row of the entire crowd standing around Leon and Sam, who has just appeared behind him. He kept sipping his coffee with the same exhausted and disoriented look on his face and the same messy hair as before. He eyed the entire room and studied it while the crowd spoke amongst themselves about the events and random musing of theories about last night. Donny heard on to certain conversations that were close enough to being most reasonable and precise scenario as to what might have caused the school and city to...fall asleep? Donny browed at what he was hearing. He looked around himself and moved forward across the room, past Leon, and then stood in front of the row across from him while sipping his coffee.

Janet shook her head at the thought of Zero trying her best to move.” Everyone just rest. Zero stay on the bed till the scan states your totally fine.” Her eyes shifted over toward Ricardo.* I am sorry but the medical bay standard clothing for use are black unisex briefs. They are a bit snug which I highly doubt your willing to wear. Though I could get someone to run up to your room and grab something you’d be more comfortable in* Lastly she turned to face Eric. She’d have to help with his mental trauma. “As for you Avani thank you. You and Sam really stepped up when no one else could. “

DJ made his way into the café located on school grounds.” Listen I’m a member of Strike Force. I don’t have time to explain just in a rush so here’s my ID. I need a Carmel mocha lager….and ummm give me two of those muffins. “Just as fast as DJ had left he was making his back.

Ricardo nodded at Janet when she offered to have someone got and get him clothes to wear. He did not care how the outdit looked. He just wanted to feel comfortable and wear something to cover him up at least. "I'd appreciate that, Janet. Thank you very much." Ricardo turned to Avani and nodded at her with agreement to Janet's words as being nothing but helpful. "That's right! I forgot to thank you." Ricardo said as he then hugged her. He lets go and turns to Janet. "Will you be heading to Leon?" Ricardo asked, referring to the announcement. "You think it's about...you know?" Ricardo hinted.

Janet shook her head at Ricardo’s question. “ Well Ricardo not physically. I need to be here to tend to the three of you. I need to run test perform mental scans will the consent of each of you. Though I could project a astral like image of myself in his location. Also I’ve already sent a telepathic message to Jordan to being some of your personal things down here. I know how boring it can get in a room full of metal. As for last night Katt will be taking over my class so students can talk about these nightmarish thoughts that seem to have effected everyone other than me and Harkin. After we are done here I’d be more than willing to help purge these memories or help you understand them, and no problem. “

Rock takes a drink of coffee, looking up at the tv, she hears the news, seeing Lucians things she spits out her coffee, her cup hits the counter spilling as she grabs her things from by the chair she is in, she goes to get up "Ill kill that" she continues calling Issac any name she can "with or without my powers ill kick his ***": she goes to get up

Lance moves instantly behind Rock and force her back into her chair. "You're not going anywhere." he told her firmly, sitting down right next to her, still within grabbing reach. "Not unless I say so." Everyone else was staring at them. Lance glared at them until they turned away and went back to their drinks.
