Sam hadn't noticed Hitosu had been teleported with them, she thought he would stay with the other group to help them get back to the base but he would be a big help if the slime attacked. Sam followed Hit away from the group, she really hoped it wasn't bad because things were already hard enough.
Hitosu saw Sam and had a very grim look on his "We have another situation going other than these Slimes attacking us". Hitosu twitched a bit when he was about to say the next thing "Pintar is in New York and to make it worse he keeps trying to bait me to come to him I don't know if it is a tease to kill me or to challenge me but he said something about settling the score". "He has been messing with me and my power's flaring up his aura so mines can react and messing with my powers he has some sort of influence that's causing my powers to act screwy mostly when i'm asleep". "Thats why I couldn't wake up earlier to help you guys I don't know what to do"
Ezra's mouth was wide open. His visor was picking up that the strings on the guitar were vibrating at such a frequency that they emitted a wave of sound.

Ezra smiled and fell back onto his bed, the melody from the previous song still racing through his mind.
Maybe one day ill learn how to play it, then I can play mother's song again.
Ezra's heart suddenly tightened a little, the memory of his family brought back buried emotions. However he was aware that Gaku was also in the room so he rolled over, rubbed his eyes as he sat back up, making it look like he was sleepy and looked back at Gaku, patiently awaiting the next song.
Naomi felt a sense of relief when some of her group were sent to safety. There was just the small matter of the other half of the group. Another infected came towards the group and he was a speedster. The remainder of the group gasped but Caleb and Naomi jumped into action.
Caleb created another invisible wall right in front of the speedster and he bounced back and rolled a few times before righting himself and coming towards them again. Naomi intercepted him this time with a back-handed punch to the jaw and a knee to the gut. Caleb raced up and encased his hands in with invisible boxing gloves.
When he went in for an attack, the speedster saw this and raced out of dodge while dealing a series of blows to him. Naomi tried to take most of the blows but the guy was still faster than her. All she was thinking was keeping this dude away from her group and trying to keep Caleb in the game.
Caleb surprised her by still fighting as if none of the attacks were harming him. Naomi looked closer, in between ducking and dealing blows herself, and saw the infected's hands and legs hitting small domes blocking his sensitive areas. Caleb was on the defense as well as being on the offense. With his gloved hands and Naomi still attacking him, Caleb started pummeling on the infected. It was clear as day that they were wearing the guy down but his speed was still a factor.
When the last person was out of harms way, Naomi told Caleb to back off and she finished off the guy with a burst of speed and overwhelming strength and fighting skills. When the infected guy was down and out, Caleb came over and said, "You were holding out on him?"
She nodded and said, "I was just giving my group enough time to get to safety. He fell for it."
"Still the same," was all Caleb said as he raced off to attack another infected.
Sam's face went pale after hearing that Pintar was in New York they really didn't need the mirror psycho path making things harder on them. Taking a deep breath she looked Hitosu in the eyes and put a hand on his shoulder, "Look Hit, I want that jerk to pay for what he done to us all of us," she paused thinking about how much he effected Hit and Rock. "but we need you here, on the mission. And if that loser comes here will beat him up so don't worry. Have you talked to Janet about this? I'm sure she could help you get him out of your heard."
Gaku looked at Ezra and knew he wasn't feeling sleepy he knew that feeling hes had it before. Gaku didn't want to ask Ezra about he had only just met him and he wouldn't want to answer the same question. So Gaku put down his bass and picked up his guitar he was ready to play. "I'm sure she probably sensed him her or Naomi but that's not what i'm worried about he is baiting for me he somehow is using his mirror illusion from a distance messing with my head and flaring up my powers with these disturbing images when we were at the school i saw him somehow piercing a glance at me it triggered my power and these manipulated dreams. I think he is stronger than before if he can cast illusions from far distances ever since the hive first arrived. I have been getting these strange events happening at most i'm just trying to be cautious if anything happens I need you to stop me until I waste every ounce of my Aura do anything you must that's all I ask".

"Listen, I don't know what you're doing, or why Lance is there... Nor do I honestly care," Andrew replied, choosing his words carefully. "I got a lot of crap to deal with at the moment. The kids are down in NYC, fighting off an infection. I have the sample here. I just want you to know you might need it. This infection can track supers, and If it can get past the security of the school, it can get into your little safehouse. If you were here doing your day job, you'd already know this... Just sayin'."

I'll try my best" Liam answered as they left. This was of course false hope. There were way too many. Liam dodged and weaved, ending up next to Caleb and Naomi. "I sure as hell hope Leon and DJ get here soon!" He shouted to the others, even as he fought off three infected simultaneously. "This is getting insane!"
It seemed DJ was closing in on his teammates till he felt his leg being yanked from the ground causing him to fall to the ground. Before he could fully comprehend what was happening he wrapped his tail around Leon tightly only to fling him toward the others. His armored body slide along the street causing cars to slightly rock back and forth as his tail, and shoulder spikes crashed into them. His body came to halt once he came near the team. “Since when have those punks been able to do that?” While jumping to his feet his body shifted back to it’s normal form.
DJ’s attack made her way out the shadows. The now mutated anti-hero Tracy made her way toward the heroes while dragging her 2 feet claws along the ground. Everything about her seemed to appear as if Katt herself was going to attack the young group of heroes.
DJ looked down at one of his arms. He could tell it was broke or at least pulled out of place, but now wasn’t the time to worry about such. “ Quick question. How are web suppose to get pass Katt? She’s faster, stronger, more agile. Heck she can even Caleb with her feral sight. Not to mention if she’s here how many of our other teachers are here?”
It took all of roughly five minutes for DJ to reach the group on foot. Leon was thankful. There was no way this attack would work otherwise. The energy he had been collecting in his hand had reached the size of a tennis ball. It was all he could just do keep it compressed. Just as they neared the group, Leon suddenly found himself soaring through the air. At the point, he suddenly knew that he had in fact completely recovered. He felt perfectly fine. Looking back, he saw DJ being attacked by an unknown enemy. There was no time to think about that though. He had to finish the mission. He hadn't been there for his team when they needed him, and now he was going to make up for it.
DJ's trajectory led Leon into the heart of the enemy, There were Hive and infected everywhere. On the edge, Leon spotted Liam. He got angry, and increased the energy in his shockwave. Unable to maintain its size, the shockwave spread, covering all of Leon as he made his descent. *This is for Liam you slimy bastards!* Leon thought angrily as he landed. The Hive swarmed all over him even before he touched the ground, but he paid no attention to them, concentrating with everything he had on the shockwave, which traveled down his body, to his fist, which he slammed into the ground...
Liam looked up just in time to see Leon fly into the fray - literally. His body reacted before his brain could comprehend what was going to happen. The monkey boy sank his fist into the nearest infected, sending it and several others soaring. At the same time, his tail swung back, catching Caleb and Naomi around the legs, knocking them both to the ground. He then dived on top of them, hoping that his armor would protect them all from what he knew instinctively was going to happen...
The explosion was enormous. It made the attack from Club Thunder look miniscule by comparison. There was no way Leon could not have down it without those crucial first five minutes. The road ripped apart. The sides of buildings cracked. Everything in the immediate area was sent flying. Needless to say, the tide had turned considerably. Nearly all of the slime had been wiped out, leaving only the infected, and some of the larger Hive monsters. Leon was a bit wiped out himself. Even though he was no longer injured, he suddenly felt like passing out again. He got up slowly and looked around. DJ, who had been outside the blast radius, was facing off against someone Leon had never seen before. For some reason, the unknown enemy looked... Familiar.
Uriah took cover behind another one of Sam's barriers when he saw Leon hit the ground with sparks all around him. He was doing a terrific job of covering his team from enemy attacks with his power of reflection. Many of the infected supers had projectile-based powers and that made Uriah a crucial factor for survival in this large group.
Caleb, on the other hand, was trying to help Liam keep Naomi, Liam and himself alive from Leon's attack. Caleb hit the ground hard on his shoulder and he heard a distinct popping sound coming. He didn't worry about that, however. He instead made a wide dome over the three of them just as the electric attack reached them. Even in the dome, they felt searing heat. "That was some attack," Naomi said when the attack ended. "He has to be the leader."
For now he seemed safe since the feral like infected humanoid stood in a trance. With a heavy sigh DJ shifted his weight to form a fighting stance. Unfortunately that caused the infected beast to run toward him with all it’s might. Time it’s self seem to slow in DJ’s eyes as he watched this crazed thing charge at him. Sparks leaped from the ground from the claws dragging on it. What seemed to be minutes was only seconds. Before his body could even react to what was happening a surge of pain rush through out his body. The blow to his chest sent his body soaring into a wall. “ Just gotta stick this out till they can get over here” He told himself while on his hands and knees. Without a warning he felt the creature land over him which proceeded to rip into DJ’s back with it’s claws.

Sam blinked at Hit, she had no idea what he was saying or even how to response. "Okay, Hit, I have your back and I'll do my best to stop you." She smiled to ease the tension then turned to her little group of survivors, "okay people we have food rations in the back, if you are hungry please eat but know that we have no clue how long we will be here so please don't go crazy" she said loudly so everyone could hear her.
"How come you just don't do what you did earlier and take us out of here?" one of the older ladies said. Some of the others agreed and shock there heads.
"Well" Sam said crossing her arms, "teleporting takes a lot of energy and right now I'm tiered and do not have the power to get us out of here..."
Sam was very rudely interrupted by the elderly lady again, "So, if we're attacked you can fight those things off and we're all going to die!" she said making the others panic.
No, I didn't say I was powerless. I just said at the current time I can not teleport us out of here but if we are attacked everyone should run to the back of the base, there is a panic room that will seal off at the press of a button then me and my partner will deal with the attack," she said while pointing to the direction of the safe room and sounding like a flight attendant.
As she got up, Naomi saw DJ fighting some kind of beast-like creature. She raced over, running towards a downed wall. She used her agility to hop onto the wall and flipped herself off of it, soaring straight towards DJ and his asailant. As she was flying through the air, Caleb created an invisible bat in her hands that she used to slam into the creatures back.
When the creature slumped off of him, Naomi asked, "Are you okay, big guy?"
"Leon!" Liam called out. he got up and ran over to Leon, who had fallen onto his knees. "You ok?" Liam asked, helping his friend to his feet.
"Yea, just a bit tired." Leon replied, looking at the monkey boy. "What about you? No longer insane?"
Liam laughed. "Ah, no, I'm still crazy. Janet did something. Like, put a psychic barrier on me so I don't lose it again. She also gave me some of her powers."
"What, seriously?" Leon asked, raising an eyebrow. "In that case, can you give the others a message for me, I think my communicator broke."
"No problem." Liam placed a hand on Leon's head, and their minds connected. *Wow. You have a few problems yourself.*
*Oh, shut up and transmit, will you?* Leon grumbled. He mentally cleared his throat. *Hey, guys, it's Leon. If you can hear me, get that thing that's attacking DJ surrounded. Make sure it can't escape. I'll deal with the rest of the infected.*
"You can't be serious?" Liam asked when he removed his hand. "You can barely stand."
"It's ok," Leon assured him, "I got this." He held up a healing pack. "I was going to use it on someone else," he said, rolling up and sleeve and strapping the pack to his arm. He could feel his strength returning immediately. Why they didn't use this on him before, he had no idea. "But," he continued, "no one else seems to need it."
Liam nodded, and ran off after Naomi. Leon turned and faced what was left of the Hive's forces. It was pathetic, compared to what had been here only minutes before. Leon smiled, and popped a shockwave in each hand. "So... Who's going first?" he asked the group of infected.
Caleb made his way over to where DJ, Naomi, Liam and,the infected feral was. DJ's back was shreadded and that made Caleb a little squimish. Plus his shoulder was dislocated so there was that. He could still use his powers, but he coudnt get involved in any fisticuffs. Not that he would want to anyways. Not with something that could make paper mache(sp) out of DJ's alien form.
After Leon's mental message, Uriah went to stand by his leader. "I'm no fighter and I'd get creamed over there. But I can cover you over here. How much do you wanna bet that one of these guys are gonna try to take you out with an energy ball?"
No sooner than the words were out of his mouth, Uriah had to reflect fireball aimed at Leon's head. "What'd I tell you?"

DJ looked up at Naomi. “Well besides the fact that Caleb is acting like a little girl over the fact that he is seeing green blood and my arm I think I’m, we are in for one hell of a fight. I’d explain in greater details but the time for such has passed. Now anyone have a idea how that thing looks like a cross between Katt’s were-cat transformation and slimmer from ghost buster?”
