Hero High 3: A New World

DJ looked over a Naomi. “ She’s already used a lot of energy. A group this size might harm her. We’ll have to walk.” DJ took off the back pack he was carrying. “In there are adrenaline shots in there. That should help you guys out. That is till we get to the base. Just try not to use your powers too much.”
DJ took a step back while shifting into this full Sia’Rather form. “I’ll carry the humans on my back. We better all stick together. Oh and Ashlocke your group stays in the middle. Your not going to attack us from the back.”
Wraith turned his attention to Naomi. “Wishful thinking my dear. Though I advise you get your heads out the clouds and realize the immediate situation. Same goes for alien boy. We need to get to your base without further delay.”
“Leave it to a hero to wanna stand around and talk in the middle of a apocalypse.” Nova Gamma added while his sister Star smacked him on the arm

Sam had been meditating since her talk with Hitosu, the kid was having a melt down but right now she couldn't focus on him right now, she had to get her energy up to face whatever came next. The humans were being to loud to meditate inside so she was out side of the base beside the door sitting indian style with her back against the wall, the barrier that DJ and her had made earier were still up and it didn't take much power to maintain it as long as it wasn't being attacked. Suddenly Samantha was hit with a wave of shadow energy and a shadowy figure entered her minds eye, the figure looked like her but in shadow for. "You could have so much more power, just let go of your fears and your powers will be unlimited." the shadow says in a whisper. A ray of light hits Sam and a figures of light apprears, "Do not listen to the shadow, she only wishes to take over." the light says in an angelic voice. The shadow let out a low hiss, "If you put us in danger I will comsume you whole and the light will not be able to save you again..." with that the shadow faded. The light smile or it seemed like it did, "Never forget we our yours and we will always be apart of you..." the light faded leaving Sam alone once again. She didn't know what that was all about but she had no time to wory about her powers trying t take over when her team was still out there. Sam stood up feeling rejuvanated after taking in the energy that the two figures brought, now she stood there waiting and hoping her team would be coming back soon.

Hitosu calmly nodded off into deep sleep hoping his power's don't flare up again he slept soundly since his dreams have been intruded he hasn't been able to sleep at all

Hitosu's Dream

Hitosu sat in the air focusing his aura. The aura swirled blue around Hitosu in a way of protecting him from any intrusion. *I have to control my powers its for my team please save me from this pest who invades my mind and keep him out*

Meanwhile...

Pintar rested his body from all his damges in his hidden base "i didn't think these pest were so petty hmph at this rate I won't get any business done hmph" Pintar opened a mirror portal "lets see what we have here" He saw into Hitosu's dream from this mirror portal "He has to meet with me and soon"

Naomi rolled her eyes. She would never admit out rightly that a bad guy was right. She met Caleb's eyes and he said, "Let's go. My arm hurts."

As he began to walk, a downed infected jumped at him and he simply knocked him away with a force wall. It was almost morning and his powers would change soon. He wanted to get back to the base before that happened in case anyone tried anything stupid.

Wraith kept his eyes on Caleb and Naomi. “ I see the heroes of the school once again send children to do the work of grown ups. Like in the great War with those greenish grey freaks. Ah I remember that day. Your teachers held off a few till me and my team came and ended the war. Yet here we are again. Helping the helpless.”
“Why don’t you shut up you old prudish bustard.” DJ snapped back toward Wraith. “ We aren’t that far from the looks of it. Once we get inside the protection spell range we should be fine. That is if it’s still up.”
Wraith shook his head at DJ’s remark. “ Now boy. That’s no way to talk to your elder. Out of the kindness of my heart I’ll allow that one to slide. Even if I don’t have a heart.”

"Maybe you should just calm down, DJ. We don't want a fight with these guys," Uriah said.

"At least not yet," Naomi added quietly.

"Besides, the teachers are handling other stuff," Caleb quipped. "We're here cause we were trained by them. The way I see it; we're almost as good as them."

DJ turned his animalistic face toward Uriah. “ I am calm, just not gonna let some hell spawn or hell god talk about my people like he’s lost his mind. Plus I’m not really in the mood to hear his babbling about the old days or him throwing how weak we are in our faces. It’s highly disrespectful for someone who talks like he’s so uppity.”Looking back to face the base DJ could feel his own protection field . “ Ok people try not to walk on those green glowing circles unless you want to be impaled by a spike of Sia’Rathe energy. Which reminds me. Computer hold sentry’s from firing on villains Ashlocke, Wraith, Tracy, Star and Nova Gamma.”

"About time." Leon said as the others approached. "Any longer and I was going to have Sam do a mass teleport. And I already took care of the guns." He looked at the assembled group. "What an odd bunch we make." he said, chuckling. "Sorry for taking off back there, but I wanted to make some private phone calls."

DJ stopped and looked into Leon’s eyes. His jet black eyes hide the seer amount of anger he was feeling toward Leon.“Really? A freaking phone call while the rest of us are drained of energy Leon. Did you think that through at all? Caleb arm is in a invisible sling, my arm is isn’t fully healed, Naomi has been up all night or for Lord knows how long and to top it off we are with freaking psychopaths and that’s all you can say? You had to make a damn phone call. Oh and please. Sam has been keeping this place protected and it’s down right selfish of you to even think she could use a mass teleport with how much energy she has used.” After shifting back to his human state Dj shook his head at that he just said. “I’m tired. I know I am so I’m going to go update the computer and get some rest. After today and last night I think we all have earned that. Even if it’s for a few moments.”
“Kids.” Ashlocke announced as he pressed pass Leon and DJ. “ Instead of the who did what why don’t you tell us who is going to be holding up that protection thing you kiddies have out there? The sun is almost up and those things will find more people trying to get out of the city. Which brings me to question number two. How are those people going to know this is a safe house? Last but not least. I know the government didn’t send only you guess in here. There must be more main stream heroes out there fighting these things. Other hero teams out there. “
Nova Star made his way toward the refrigerator.“ Ack boss man. We’d have better chances of the Elemental mafia and those bloody Ferals working together then seeing any help from good ole uncle sam. Anyway what’s to eat in this place mate?”

*Private phone calls,* Caleb questioned using the mind-link. *You're calling the teachers?*

Because they were all connected, Uriah could hear them and added, *Good. Cause I don't think this little...truce, team-up, whatever is gonna work.* He looked at the baddies. *I really don't trust any of them. The teachers are an insurance policy that we need to cash in on. And as soon as possible.*

*URIAH?! What the hell is wrong with you,* Caleb shouted mentally, causing both Leon and Uriah to cringe. Naomi saw this and looked at the two out of the corner of her eye, trying not to draw attention to the trio.

*Why are you acting so freaking wussy?*

*It's not wussy. It's cautious. I prefer to survive this little mission and don't want to become one of those Hive-hosts. If any teacher can come, I'll be relieved.*

*Are you saying that we're not ready for this? Because that's what it sounds like you're saying.*

*No. Its just; this thing seems bigger than what we originally thought it would be. What if we mess up?*

*I'm not calling teachers.* Leon told the others. He was getting slightly pissed off now. *I'm calling everyone. One advantage of being me. As strikeforce's leader I have access to certain protocols. I just sent out a beacon to every hero in the area. They'll be here before long. It wasn't supposed to be used unless I had absolutely no choice.*
"As for Sam being drained. I suppose you forgot about the health packs, DJ?" Leon started speaking normally, so that DJ could hear. "If they worked for my energy, She would have been fine to transport everyone here. On top of that, she will be able to heal everyone, like she did back at Club Thunder, or did you forget that, too? Now get your goddamn rest."

DJ turned around to face Leon. “ You mean like how you got your rest and it was I would as watching over you making sure that damn dragon didn’t come in and kill you? I swear you humans never logic. How could we have used healing packs with humans who could have been injured if we was attacked? How would I have known Sam had used one since I was doing my job helping taking care of these people and not flying off to call for some heroes that for one my computer could have done and two we don’t even know if they are infected or not.”

Janet stood up out of her set. * Look at all of you! Bickering like rabid dogs. Uriah have some faith in yourself. You was placed on this team because of your skill. Yes it’s normal to feel the way you do working with who you’re working with.... If I could speak with DJ I’d tell him never to talk to leadership like that in front of your enemy but I can’t speak telepathically speak with him.... Leon your team has every right to question you. Their lives are ultimately in your hands. You all must work harder as a team more then ever. I understand you’ve never worked a mission such as this without us there fighting along side you but if you all don’t get closer the fall of New York will be on your heads as well s us teachers. If that happens that means the reopening of S.E.P , better know as the superhuman elimination program. The registration act will be pushed far beyond what it is now. I have faith in all of you. Now please work as one and someone tell DJ what I said. Besides I think you all have forgotten I’ve been here with you all this time mentally.*

Sam felt her team mates enter the force field along with some others, Dj must have let them in she thought, he had contributed to the spell so he did have control of it too. Having been mostly renewed she teleported to the team ready to heal any injuries they might have received during the rescue mission. Sam appeared before the group and stepped out of the shadows just in time to hear DJ's scolding then almost immediately after she heard Janets voice in her mind but she chose to ignore it. "Hey guys, who needs a heal?" she says before noticing the the villains. Shadows gently flared up around her ready to act, "umm You guys know there's baddies with you right?" she said not knowing of the alliance.

Zero woke up to water being splashed in her face, her instincts kicked in, she grabbed Gaku's leg and pulled it from under him and pounced on top of him almost jammed her claws into his neck. Suddenly her brain started working and pieced everything together, "oh, s-sss-sorry" she said like if it was the hardest thing she had to do. The hybrid got off of the dragon kid and put her hand out to help him up, "What are you doing out here?" she questioned, it was late and everyone was supposed to be in their rooms.

"Yeah," Uriah responded, sounding a little guilty. "We have some kind of an agreement." He looked down to the floor. Caleb called him out and he was feeling a bit stung because it was true. He was being a wimp. Janet said it herself. He had skill and he proved an hour ago when he was working with Leon.

He walked over to DJ and told him what Janet said as Caleb walked over to a confused Sam. "Yup. We're working with the baddies now because we need the help. We just need to watch each others backs," he whispered.

"Darn it," Bennu growled, pacing back and forth in the room. She and Pryce had gotten back to their room almost half an hour before. Not much seemed to be happening at the school, and it was getting close to morning. Neither of them had gotten any sleep, either, but Bennu didn't see that one as much of a problem; she never seemed to run out of energy.

"What? What is it?" Pryce asked sleepily. He rubbed his eyes and sat up from where he'd been laying on his bed.

"I hate feeling so helpless," Bennu sighed. "We found something, the Hive or whatever, in the pipes, but we don't know what it's doing or anything about it." She stomped one of her feet and resumed her pacing. "Sure," Bennu flung out a hand, "we got rid of it, but isn't there something else we can do?"

Pryce shrugged. "Mr. Simon said he could take care of it, didn't he? And we're supposed to see him again in the morning. We should get ready for that, right?"

"You can," Bennu said lightly, walking towards the door. "Or you can get some rest. I think I'll just go blow off some steam, go for a walk or something. It's not like I could sleep right now anyway." She flashed a quick smile. "And don't worry, I won't go far."

Bennu slipped out of the room and into the hall, closing the door behind her. She was making her way quietly through the school when she heard a crashing sound near one of the walls. It sounded like someone was trying to break through, maybe the Hive? Before she knew it, Bennu was running down to where she'd heard the disturbance. When she reached it, she paused. Two other students were by the wall, which looked like it had a small crack in it. One of the students, a boy who looked a little like a dragon, was on the ground while the other, a cat like girl, was standing over him.

"What's going on here, what was that sound?" Bennu asked Gaku and Zero.

"Right..."Sam says unsure of the situation but none the less she lowered her shadows and quickly scanned her friends for any injuries she could see on the surface, Caleb walked with a limb and DJ's arm looked to be damage also Leon could still use some healing after the fight with Liam. Sam knelt down in front of Caleb and but her hand on his injured leg and began to heal him. She stood up and smiled at Caleb," that should help. At least till the next battle." she says jokingly. She then walked up to DJ and put her hands over his wounded arm, "hope you don't mind" she was still a little cautious of the alien...not cause he was an alien cause to be honest she was kind of an alien too but because of the fact that she never seen him not serious. "That should help some," she said before looking to Liam. Sam met his eyes with his and she blushed then quickly moved her eyes to focus on some one else, " Anyone else need a heal?" she asked the rest of the team and the the humans that had came with them and hoped that none of the villains would need any.

Zero grabbed Gaku's hand and pulled him up to his feet when suddenly her feline ears heard someone approaching them then heard the soft voice of a female student, she really hated how this was quickly turning into a scene but at least they weren't teachers.
"That was the sound of my head meeting the business end of the wall," Zero said rubbing her forehead then pointing her chin to the small dent in the wall. "And I'm going to have to say no to your concert...I really don't even know what that is anyways," she replies to Gaku. She really had no idea what a concert was she had little interest in music or rather she had no time for it.
"I'm trying to sneak out to do some hero stuff, I mean we're heroes right so that means we should be out there saving people and beating up bad guys." she saod trying to hide her excitement of the idea of actually doing hero work.
The hybrid turns to the girl that just joined them, "so are you guys interested?" Zero asks already expecting them to say no but it didn't matter to her, she was going to go by herself anyways.

Hitosu woke up in a cold sweat panting deeply from his slumber "I felt that strange force again it no doubt its him again"

Pintar's mirror broke "hmph he awoken but now I know there location now time to pay my half brother a visit" He smiled warmly but there was some evil behind this smile" Pintar quickly set up and started his descent to the hero's HQ

Hitosu calmed down and went to everyone does anyone need to be rejuvenated is anyone extremely exhausted". Hitosu said that with fear in his voice his nerves made him fidget a bit

Pintar stops in front of a crowd of slimy creatures "Out of my way small fries" Mirror shards crowded into a giant needle ball and shot to every slime stabbing the slimes "BEGONE" the slimes crystallized with the glass and shattered all around him. "Hmph now to hurry to that HQ"

DJ looked down at Sam for a moment. He knew his temper was flaring out of control and the message Uriah just delivered hardly did anything to control it. * How does Janet even know what I’m thinking? My mind is to complex for her to understand. Unless she’s set up a psychic link with the other. That would explain some things that have been going on. Plus this’ll give me time to think without someone snooping around my thoughts. None the less right is right and if Janet nor Leon can see that oh well. I’ve said what the others might have been too afraid to say and that counts for a lot in my book. Now for these random heroes that should be on their way. I better find away to allow them to enter without boy wonder over there messing up my computer’s AI.* “Thank you Sam. We’ve all needed that.” He could feel his powers surging back to their normal levels while he took a seat near the main computer console. With lightening like speed he began to type in various commands.* When I get home I better make a android version of this and put up a security clearance.*

“ Yes my lovely Samantha, there is one that requires healing from you or that fellow over there. His name I do not recall. Ms. Tracy here might require some form of healing. She’s well capable of doing so on her own but even a feral needs energy to use their powers whether it be concussion or not. While I’m talking to you my dear. How’s that dark and light paradox working out for you? I’m sure if you learned how to use your darker powers you’d find them to be much more useful like I’ve learned with mine. In fact don’t heal Tracy. I’ll demonstrate a taste of what your powers might be able to do You use the light to heal but the darkness can also.” Wraith pointed towards one of the humans causing a smoky like cloud of tentacles to appear from his hand and connect with the older man’s body. Of course he was draining his health but what came next was his lesson to Sam. He then pointed over toward Tracy as the same cloud appeared and connected with her but this time healing her. “My dear it is a health transferal. Take a small amount of health from one source and give it to yourself or another. I bet your teachers weren’t willing to teach you that.”

Meanwhile outside a woman with long black her fought her way through the army of infected beings. Her hair swung back and forth like a whip knocking infect after infected down. “ Strike force…Strike fore do you read me? Come in Strike force of Hero High. This is Angela Ross code name Medusa of the Dark Enforcers. I‘m here on a mission with key members of other superhero teams. We are currently together and forming one team under government issues. We are heading toward your distress call.”

Sam couldn't believe what she seeing, the monster had chosen the eldest person in the bunch to drain energy off of, it was an interesting trick and probably a useful one too but this was just not needed. "Stop!" she yelled and ran over the the older man, his face was going pale and looked like he was going to collapses at any moment, Sam held the man up and began to fill the mans stolen energy with light. "Me and Hitosu can handle the healing just fine with our abilities that we already have." She says although learning more techniques from someone like Wraith would be invaluable and besides her mom was said to be evil and she was able to teach her and everything worked out.
