thanos doesnt have the raw power to kill him anyway. the way I see it, he cant kil everything, but when he does kill something his power level allows, it's permanent, the guy doesn't bounce back

He could of killed her physically too, but later explained to Gladiator why that's not a good idea. He needed her body alive so that it could act as a prison for the Beyonder essence.

my point was more along the lines of him not being able to defeat the actual power of a cube being without maker's self-imposed limitations. destroying her shell was never an option, so all thanso really had going on was mindrape from the beggining.
