I completed the game it was fun though I dont like that you can only costumize your equipment in contracts mode....

Been playing this since yesterday.

So far, I'm pretty happy with it. Definitely more good than bad, and I'm already looking forward to the next time I get to play it.

Yep. We need even more options than last time. Ideally, a hybrid between Absolution and Blood Money.

I want them to bring back the newspaper/recognition system.

Seeing stuff like "Mobster killed in freak weightlifting accident" was awesome because you knew that you strangled that guy and that explanation was the best they could come up with.

Nope. It's like this open world game where developers release periodic assassins contracts every so often. Some can be only done in a certain amount of time.

Not sure if there is a story element though.

Hope they improve on the skill system.....it was pretty meh in Absolution imo.
Like the idea of "skill based equipment".

I thought it had both a story mode and an online mode.

I was under the impression that there isn't a story mode like previous version of the games. From what I heard and understand is that they will periodically releasing assassination contracts.

I'm not sure if these contacts include an actual story that you play through (similar to Destiny) but I was under the impression that a contract includes a place where a NPC resides and you need to assassinate. I think it's a bit more involved that just a dude walking down the street and it involves interesting elements (for ex. the dude in the trailer is part of fashion show and it seems you need to inflitrate and kill him there) but it will not be the same as Blood Money.

That's what I took. I also don't think it's strictly online but you will need to be able to download the data for each contract.

In the end, I think it's a Hitman game with Destiny-ish mode.

Meh...i don't like what they're doing with it.

Sounds like it is true from what i read. They're basically saying that they're going to be releasing the game unfinished.
