Legend of Zelda Movie

Yippie, that's some good stuff right there, that's neat stuff Lman90245. I like the idea of how it's based on a triangular system. Very strong and simplistic, just like the triangle is suppose to be. Although, what's with that 2007, unless you're something secret (and I don't mean NO secret agent).

Again though, I think that Link's aggression into sound is pretty necessary for a film, but I'd like to think that all of these times that maybe LINK DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO SPEAK, which is why you don't hear him say something like "I will defeat you" or "Hey, that's cool" (even though the last one was pretty retarted) I think that if he couldn't talk then that would make him as much as a fighter, but yeah sure with him attracted to Zelda and they fall in love then he doesn't need words to express his love. In most movies, they just say something stupid before some stupid sex scene (I AM NOT SAYING THAT LINK WILL GO DO SOME FOUL PLAY WITH ZELDA). Link might just be a strong character but I might like to see why he couldn't speak if the creator leaves him without any words (except HIIIIAAAA!!!! and such)

the poster looks greast but why is ganondorf in the middle. If you didn't know the game you would think that ganon was the main character.

i think heath ledger would make a good adult link. It all depends on the script...if its based on a game or original and the age that link is. I Think the best would be a teenager, like 17. But if they do do a Zelda movie, they cant hold back, they have to go big budget.

I think the japanese developers of "The Legend of Zelda" should hand select the cast. Noone knows better than the creators, right? 🙂

Well Satsujin i think i havt to dissagree on that one. They might know what they want for the game but not the movie. Moviemaker have a indication of what the moviegoers want.

straight on buffymitch, I'd have to say that HOLLYWOOD is overly selective. For all you know, they'd probably pick someone like Tom Cruise as LINK, well I say "the hell with that" oh, and the hell with HEATH LEDGER.

I'd have to say that they'd have to look for someone new, and I'd have to also say that EVERYONE should be new. If that's kind of difficult for someone like Ganon, then maybe someone from Hollywood might fit a part. AND NO TOM CRUISE, *FAGGOT* (Maybe NAVI could be played by Slyvestor Stallone) hehehe, j/k

very funny satsujin. Lavithian maybe right. i lso hope they put some new people in this. But not everyone otherwise it would seem likie a b movie (to me) . there have been 2 great cast suggestions by i don't know, but that guy from everybody loves raymond with that dep voice sounds good for a Ganon and micheal clarke duncan for Darunia.

I think casting for a "The Legend of Zelda" movie might just be the hardest thing ever, lol

I ask the casting question all the time and the most frequent answer is Orlando Bloom for Link.(Hey, I thought for a while that I was the only one who instantly thought of Link the first time I saw LotR!)

Well, Orlando does seem like a good Link, and he's not as old as you think. In the Zelda games, Link might be 17 or 18, but he looks more like a 21 year old, so Orlando is probably one of the closest opinion for a Link I could think of. I'd hate to say this but I figure that Hillary Duff looks like Zelda a little bit. As for Ganon, well, maybe that person from everyone loves Raymond might be good, but I've never seen the show so I can't really debate about that. It'd actually be good if it seems to actually headed towards a positive direction. I'd actually enjoy to see a Zelda movie rather than just talking about it when it'll never happen. I say, just keep talking and maybe someone might hear you.

Hilarry Duff looks good enough to be a Zelda.

I agree buffymitch, just give her some pointy ears, a tiara and a dress (not to mention blue contact lenses) and she's set. Orlando would be kinda risky to put as link since he's already been in LoTR as an elven warrior w/ a green tunic on O_o. Hard to cast for link, maybe they need someone new that isnt famous yet to portray link

Well Jadebonair i don't think anyone has any kind of plan to make this into a movie. We just strted to talk about it in the hope someone notices us. If someone ever decides to make zelda into a movie they can take a look here what the fans want and want we don't want

I agree with you satsujin, maybe someone might notice, but that doesn't mean that you can always give up hope. I might seem that it could take maybe five years (2008) for someone to actually start that process of creating. Just like DBZ (and no I'm not a FREAK about it, I'm a mild fan), all these people were hoping for a movie and in 05 it'll be out, but how will it do? I have no idea, but once the trailer or teaser is released then I'd tell myself, "boy, that dude just might be a great *_character's-name_*) Also, I don't know what the hell people are talking about with Freeza/Cell/Buu, it's only going to be the saiyan saga (for as of now).

I must say though that in Zelda, Link has a sword (well, it might be a metal sharp and pointy stick w/ a handguard) but should we expect him to do some mixing up with his sword fights by punching or kicking? Ganon, I suppose that you might expect him to throw some of those in a fight and really mess Link up a bit. I'd like to know if anything else from the previous games (I've pretty much beat all of the ones, except the 2 for NES and Majora's Mask) are going to be in it; like Epona (might be a good idea) or Sheik (If or if not she should fight against Ganon), but I might think that since Ocarina of Time was pretty well done and offered a lot, should EVERYTHING be in it? Cause OoT did have atleast 7 dungeons, but that'd be too long for a movie, and to rush through would mean that some would be skipped. SO, I think that maybe they could do a even better job just blending in some good with other goods; in other words, taking something good from other games and putting them in as a whole new theme. What do you think about that? Does that sound bad or good?

Defenitley sounds good levithian. Yep Links hould also do some kicks and punches. I say he must even use some of those great fairy spells. That fire thing sounds cool.
