Linkalicious
Iran...I Walked...I Jihad
For all of you who have only played the newer versions of the game (SNES on up) realize what your asking here... Dark world/Light world, outrageous cast of impas, gorons, and young/old link. How is ANY writer supposed to wrap that into 1 movie? Keep it simple, zelda gets kidnapped, adult link goes and saves her. Three pieces of the triforce, not 7 magic pendants, not musical instruments, and only three labrynths. (probably a forest labrynth, water/ice lab, and a volcanoe/fire lab) Each labrynth has an item in it to defeat that labrynths boss. Maybe he starts with a wood sword and gets a metal one and bombs in 1st lab, bow n arrows in 2nd lab, and mirror shield in 3rd labrynth. after obtaining that he travels in search of the master sword. Then he battles gannon, and gannon kills link (impale him with a horn), but the fairy in the bottle resurrects him, he then kills gannon, saves the princess, gets his kiss and saves hyrule. Maybe gannon already has 2 pieces of the triforce and he's in search of the 3rd.(knowing zelda IS the 3rd piece) Explaining the logic of time travel and introducing the 1000 characters is just asking too much. Keep it simple. He should start with his trusty boomerang, i love the hookshot, but the movie would be too short to introduce that. I agree orlando bloom is the best canidate for link but his legolas role rules him out. Maybe agent smith as gannondorf, he's an actor so i'm sure he could be more manical than the calm "mr. anderson" toting, MIB suit wearing baddy from the matrix series. Definitely some elaborate labrynths, like the mines of moria in LOTR.
