I was wrong. The fight that I'm talking about, it didn't end in a stalemate, adam ended up beating him, tossing hawkman out of a window but hawkman did well in that fight... so I admit, you were right.

I will post the scan when I get home but it was stated in that same issue that sam absorbed gladiators punch.

lol no. hal rarely tosses things at people as much as he uses his own constructs. and besides:

cis on doesn't make hal an idiot. even IF (and it is a BIG if) hal's normal constructs won't work, he knows well enough to try alternate methods.

heck, all he'd really need to do is encase sam in a bubble and watch him bounce around like a pinball until he wore himself out.

you lowballing/neutering hal just to give sam a (SLIM) chance isn't exactly a good thing.

Wasn't Sam stopped while @ full blast by Magneto using magnetism.. Hal could just replicate that feat till Sam runs out of stamina but really dough there are too many option for Hal to beat Sam.. This pretty much is a stomp..

Yes, cameron hodge wrapped him up in wires to immobilize him and fried his ass when the force-field came down.
