Wow Phoenix thanks for making Davis out to be a total *****, I mean with all his abilities why would he just stand there and allow himself to be handled like that.

-Dark step.
Davis is able to jump through space and travel to a location determined. The farther he goes the faster the space orb need to recharge but he is able to jump space to space in a quick secession if they are near by with out the orb becoming unusable for a time.

Shadow walker.
-Davis is able to go intangible for a short period of time, extensive use might make a permanent shadow.

Black barrier
Davis can shield himself from basic attacks and magic damage or absorb some damage before taking the blunt force of an enemies stronger attacks.

Magnetic field
-creates an electrical field charging metal and is able to push or pull metal, can only be used at close to mid range.

So your saying that even having all these escape and defensive abilities Davis would just stand there and take whatever your character wanted to do. Please don't ever do that again with out talking to be first especially with a character I like as much as Davis.
