Halo Univ. (OOC and REG)
The Human Race has always been strong. They have always been the type to go to hell and back. Commander Jacob Keyes operated a UNSC ship and personally destroyed 4 Covenant Cruisers. For this he is seen as a hero. Despite his skill in the ship, he does not notice a Covenant Beacon attached to the ship which the Covenant use to track the ship back to the UNSC's Training Planet... Reach. The Covenant followed the Beacon back to Reach and it is there, that the battle began. The Covenant's victory was swift and easy, moving over Reach like a knife through butter, killing off humanity one by one. Though the Human Race fought back, they were not enough. Before long, The UNSC abandon Reach. The Human Covenant War on Reach has been lost. However, not all hope has been abandoned with it... Soon after the departure of the UNSC Ship "The Pillar of Autumn", another UNSC Ship comes into view. The ship is named... "Forever Night".
The Ship's Operator, a Lieutenant Major Cross, orders the crew to move into the planet's atmosphere, near the surface. They scanned for survivors. His plan was simple... Locate all surviving UNSC Soldiers and give them a choice. Die alone on the abandoned Planet or Join his crew and become a member of the resistance. The Rogue Ship, "Forever Night" spends only little time inside the Planet's atmospheres, gathering all abandoned personnel for his own personal use. After scrolling over the small section of the planet, the ship redirects its course and pushes back up from the atmosphere, moving back into space to formulate a "New plan".
Dear Spartan,Reach... Humanities beacon of hope... Glassed, by the Covenant. It was no proud day for the human race when the Covenant showed up on our doorstep. They didn't knock, but barged right in. Destroyed every UNSC Fleet Ship that they could aim their guns at and they didn't stop at that. But we didn't give in. The UNSC's Project SPARTAN held strong to defend the planet as long as they could against the Covenant Threat. But it was inevitable and Reach did fall to the Covenant.
But that is the past.. Now we have a more important mission. We are the UNSC's Spector, "The Ghost Fleet". Now Spartan... Gear up. I'm going to show you your new "home".
~Rules~
1. No Godmodding
2. No "All Powerful Spartans"
3. Disobeying a Command from Lt. Major Cross multiple times can get your character dumped in the atmosphere. You can keep playing... If you survive.
4. This is a Military Type tactic. You have increased natural abilities but no Super-Type abilities. That means no telekinesis, no teleportation, etc.
Player Base
You can play as the following. You have a 3 Character Limit.
-Spartan-III: The Primary Characters. They are the ones who go on the missions who generally survive (in this RP at least)
-Marine: A basic soldier who was rescued by the "Forever Night" UNSC Ship. High probability of death in the field.
-ODST: A special class Marine soldier. They are 10x better in all aspects than a Marine would be. They lack in comparison to a Spartan however.
-Ship Crew: They never leave the ship aside from death. Typically they assist the Spartan's for assistance with their equipment. The basic residents of the ship.
~Weapons~
-Assault Rifle: The Basic Weapon for the UNSC Troops. Has an average magazine size of 30 rounds with full automatic fire.
-Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR): The Single Fire Rifle for the UNSC. It has a locked scope above it and a magazine size of 16 rounds.
-Magnum: The basic UNSC Troop Side-Arm. Has an average of 10 rounds per magazine. It has a basic zoom function.
-Sniper Rifle: A high capacity powerful weapon for the UNSC. It has a 8x Zoom Function and a magazine size of four rounds per. It comes equipped with shield piercing rounds.
-Rocket Launcher: Fire's Explosive Rockets from the Double Ranged Barrel. Has a capacity of two rockets. Sits steadily above the user's shoulder.
-Target Designator: Directs a red beam toward the location it is pointed after the trigger is pulled, locking in coordinates. These coordinates are automatically sent to the UNSC's strike force for a precise Air Strike.
