That might work if Clint Eastwood was the guy handing out the licenses but it would be the Gomment. I don't know about you but i would trust the judgement of a crackhead over my gomment. Instead of just making more laws and restricting freedoms we should encourage enlightenment and change. Those in power do not care about you and i. Once you give them the ability to deem who is able to spread life you give them the ability to declare who lives and who dies

I agree, partially, but only about 30%.

I agree that there would be problems with the government and inconsistancies. However, it would save far more money than it would cost to implement a "child-bearing pschology" test.

Think of all the welfare not needed, all the medical bills not generated, all the insurance not used, etc. Birrions of dorrars. 😆

And your last statement is off. It should read like this:

The "who dies" portion doesn't come into play, at all. What the tests should do, though, is weed out people too incompetent to have children. In other words, a mentally disabled person that has violent outbursts would not be the type of person that would be "authorized" to have children. Some one on drugs, a murdering psychopath, a person that as an extremely low tolerance for stress (and has outbursts), etc.

What we would be doing is preventing children from being born into sh*tty situations. I do not know if the mother in this thread's OP would have been weeded out with the "tolerance to stress" but she seems a good choice for weeding out.

Also, I think the vast majority of teens know what safe and unsafe s*x are. I think it's a myth that teens do not know what they are doing: they are just too d*mned lazy or don't have the mental fortitude to stop, wrap it, and continue.
