Xepher was upset to have his chance to take out the orb users but he didn't he decided to change his plan he was going to take out Naiyao and Victor. There were too many orb users then he anticipated and to many people he would have a harder time killing everyone. But soon as he got the chance he would tell Von Karma about the location of Jakara so that he would kill or make them his followers. But Xepher knew that they where Makkus worshipers meaning they will not worship Von Karma meaning they will be killed it made him smile on the inside. "So Victor it seems like its just going to be me and you till Naiyao meets up with us so shall we go." Xepher started to walked way from Victor he had everything he needed already with him. He walked towards the egde of Jakara and was instantly teleported down into the forest clearing and in the center was a pile of black sud. He bent down and smelled it it was burnt Inu Flesh he didn't see it on his way in but he had finally noticed it. He thought it was a bit odd that there were no creatures at night when he came and he knew why.
"I'm ready," Victor said, impatient to be off. His Thousand Eyes were still scanning the area nearby , though they'd found nothing much of interest. The only thing that seemed out of the ordinary was the lack of creatures prowling around. Victor decided to attribute it to Jakara's superior level of protection from intruders. It didn't matter to Victor, he just wanted to reach Sol'Nube as quickly as possible. One of his scouting Eyes reported to him that Naiyao had claimed a Tao to ride and while he thought it was a foolish decision to try using a wild creature like that, he envied its obvious speed. Victor began to sprint again, casting more of his speed increasing spells, as well as one to reduce his fatigue from running.
As he ran, Victor noticed something strange. One of the Thousand Eyes out scouting had lost sight of Xepher as soon as he reached the gates of Jakara. The man simply disapeared. Victor used the Illusion Orb to replay the event in his mind a few times before deciding the man had teleported somewhere. Great. Both of Victor's companions would reach Sol'Nube before him. Victor was about to growl in sheer frustration when he saw The worst possible thing that could have happened: Naiyao had come under attack.
Victor sprinted harder, able to do nothing but watch the clash between Naiyao and Speculum. He didn't know if Naiyao could win on her own, and he didn't know how well she could fight in the air. They'd fought one on one before, and it hadn't turned out well then, either. Victor watched as the two began to fall. As Naiyao hit the ground, Victor became painfully aware that he was unable to close his eyes to keep from seeing the impact. He was almost close enough to help now. He saw Speculum lift her body and place it on the Tao, and reached the area just after they flew off. In a rage, Victor hurled a bolt of force after Speculum, screaming, "You! Let her go!" If he could get close, Victor knew he could heal her, but first he had to get there. Still yelling, Victor throw more bolts, aiming alternatively between Speculum and the Tao that held Naiyao. Even as he attacked, Victor sent an Eye closer, flying after them. It was long range, and Victor needed a closer view.
