A voice now ran through Naiyao's mind. The voice shouted 'Defend yourself!' and Naiyao brought herself up quickly, standing on the back of the Tao, though keeping low. She ripped the blade from her scabbard which left a trace of Lightening energy; seeming to be irradiating from the orb around her neck. She brings her arm forward with the blade held backwards and strikes the blade hard against the weapon that Speculum holds, attempting to drive him back. The power that meets between the two leaves an explosive power that is sent out, seeming to vibrate through the air. The sheer force keeps the two of them separate yet keeps them pressed in a battle.. Naiyao can feel her feet sliding back.

"DIE!!!" Speculum ignored the strange result of the two blades making contact and pressed on to get past Naiyao's defense. Again and again he struck at the young woman but she parried all of his moves. He quickly became frustrated and his strikes became more and more driven by brute force. All the while he repeats the one word he had been saying since he spotted Naiyao: "DIE!!!" But his attacks were clumsy and increasingly easy to block or dodge. But that made him even more furious. His eyes were glazed with the unnatural hunger caused by Raggo's whipers. Voices were screaming at him to finally end this, to kill his prey and drink her blood like the finest wine, to tear at her fle-

Wait a second! Speculum staggered away from Naiyao in horror nearly falling of the Tao. Those thoughts, those wishes, those desires. They weren't his! His eyes became clear again as his mind did as well. He growled in fury as he became aware of the fact that he had been manipulated so easily. Only one person could do such a thing. Raggo! But that was something for another time. He let his sword slice through the air in a complicated pattern, the opening flourish he had seen his father use so many times to begin a fight. It was designed to look good while not only ending in a starting stance but being a defensive manouvre as well. It was fairly easy to parry nearly all possible offensive moves just in case the opponent decided to fight unfairly and attack before the flourish was finished.

"I apologise for my former... Simplicity and rudeness. I wasn't quite myself. Now that I'm over it we can truly begin. Are you prepared or do you want a change of some kind? I wouldn't feel comfortable to defeat you while having an advantage other than just being superior." Speculum smiled at his prey, fully himself again.

Perfect, as Raggo had intended, Davis became suspicious. He began to walk forward though with no intent of harm coming to any inside of the throne room. He stops mere feet from Davis and allows his malicious smirk to cast a shadow of deceit over the prominent male. Raggo had an eye for the intentions of others; as if he could see and reverse the manner at which one may send and re-send, there by making the being whom looked at him with a manner of friendship feel as if they hate him greater than any other. Raggo simply smiled at Davis and began thinking of ways he could harvest this into a victory. "A Fancy Letter you say? Ohh, I may decide to entice this educated assumption of my overall being. The provocative means of your newly obtained demeanor makes me increasingly favored to the enjoyable means of your company. However, I must comply with you're decision and continue the variable assignment of our dear Lord." His words sparked. He had awaited an infuriation exertion from Davis as his demeaning eyes hinted at a previously mentioned notion. He did not move, he simply gazed at Davis for a few moments.

Davis kept his anger in check but Raggo was making it nearly impossible, just the man's face expressions pissed the scythe holder off to no ends. Davis looks bored at Raggo hiding his rage knowing that this manipulating jerk was just trying to get a reaction out of him. Then the boy realizes Raggo's tactic but still clouded to the reason behind them. Davis' grins devising his own twisted tactic "we all seem to be busy all the time running around destroying stuff for Von Karma, its kinda stressing me out." Davis' expression changed from sinister to seductive in less then a second. "you look kinda stressed too, why don't you come sit next to me, this throne is awfully lonely and with Speculum away I don't have anyone to play with." Davis says making darkness cover his finger and shaping it as a sharp knife, he runs it down his black shirt and carefully cuts it reveling the smooth white skin underneath. "but I must warn, I do bite," Davis said running the black knife across his chest letting blood spill from a small cut then putting it to his mouth and licking the blood off. This made everyone of the men in the room uncomfortable so much it almost made him giggle but instead he gestured for the men to leave and the complied with no hesitation.

"go away Reggo this has nothing to do with you, why don't you go write a fancy letter to someone that cares." Davis waved his hand shooing the man like a pest, his other hand finds is scythe just in case the flower man wanted to rumble. Davis sighs expecting the man to not let up and he knew if he killed Reggo Von Karma would throw a fit, "of coarse I'm going to hand over this dumb, why on earth would I do other wise...are you up to something?" Davis raises his brow at the man he is defiantly up to something he thought.

Madison nods her head in agreement, "I'm fine with that. as long as Regelion is." Madison said ready to leave at that moment, they had no more time for words the longer they stayed the more innocent live would be in danger.

Regelion didn't really know what was going on but he did know it screamed adventure. He was pumped up and ready to go. "Baby you already know i'm game as long a it screams adventure and a challenge. But first I have to get something ill be back." Regelion walked away towards the store that his lover was looking at and something caught his eye and he bought it in an instant. After leaving the store he gathered some of the things he would most likely need on his journey. Regelion met up with Madison and Geol ready and rearing to go he ran off with his last word trailing behind him "Don't be a bunch of slow pokes and lets go." He then jumped off the edge of Jakara doing three flips before reaching out to grab a strong tree branch spinning around the branch. He sat on top of the tree branch and leaped to a vine swing to another speeding through the forest around Jakara.

Victor stopped in his tracks, but didn't turn around. An Eye floated just over his shoulder, shaking furiously. "No problems," was all he managed to say. Victor knew he couldn't have done much of anything alone, not against the scythe weilder and an army of Von Karma's creatures and servants. But as long as they were together, Naiyao, Xepher, and he, they would be alright. Victor thought back to his first real fight, and the first real defeat he'd suffered. He regretted being forced to run away, leaving Naiyoa alone to face the gunman, Speculum. She'd gotten out fine, but if it hadn't been for Makku's intervention, Victor wasn't sure what would have happened to any of them. Tarenhold would have been lost. Even now, it was still protected by the barrier Victor had strengthened and held, a testament to its near destruction. Now, Victor had been given another chance, and he swore he would not fail again. Sol'nube...

"I have all I need for the trip," Victor said, finally turning around. Several dozen Eyes popped into existence above Victor before proceeding to speed away in different directions. He still kept one hovering over his shoulder, though it didn't seem as erratic as it had been before. "I'm scouting ahead; anything tries to get in the way, I'll know about it. We should leave as soon possible, and I apologize again for the short stay."

Xepher was upset to have his chance to take out the orb users but he didn't he decided to change his plan he was going to take out Naiyao and Victor. There were too many orb users then he anticipated and to many people he would have a harder time killing everyone. But soon as he got the chance he would tell Von Karma about the location of Jakara so that he would kill or make them his followers. But Xepher knew that they where Makkus worshipers meaning they will not worship Von Karma meaning they will be killed it made him smile on the inside. "So Victor it seems like its just going to be me and you till Naiyao meets up with us so shall we go." Xepher started to walked way from Victor he had everything he needed already with him. He walked towards the egde of Jakara and was instantly teleported down into the forest clearing and in the center was a pile of black sud. He bent down and smelled it it was burnt Inu Flesh he didn't see it on his way in but he had finally noticed it. He thought it was a bit odd that there were no creatures at night when he came and he knew why.

Naiyao staggers a bit from the repetitive strikes from Speculum's blade. This was insane.. though it was clear that he was either an amateur or highly out of practice and Naiyao had an advantage in that manner. Despite this, she rested her arms now with the blade held low and her body in exhaustion. Damn.. she thought. I still have not yet recovered from the fight in Merecrest.. She thinks at what he says though continues to stay on guard. Finally, she takes a deep breath and pushes her blade back, holding it in only her right hand for a moment and looks at her opponent, Speculum. She closes her eyes for a few seconds and speaks.. though her guard still rests just in case. "You fight for Von Karma, but why? He will be the death of Deru.. Speculum, you see me as a prey.. why too see Deru as something that should meet an untimely end? Why not.. help us, stop this man..." she waits for a moment, waiting to see what his answer will be.

This made everyone of the men in the room uncomfortable so much it almost made him giggle but instead he gestured for the men to leave and the complied with no hesitation.

Raggo ignored the gesture as he saw the glimmer in Davis' eye. He knew that there was a bastardly act behind it; though he was intrigued by the action. "Ah Davis, as much as I would take enjoyment from accepting your generous eccentric offer, I have work to indulge my time in. Please take no grievous meaning from the most invalid movement of mine." with this, Raggo walks from the castle doors with a smirk, though he soon fades as revealed to be an illusion. Far away as he rides down the road in his carriage, he begins to speak to himself. "Soon, the Resistance will arrive and they will overthrow Davis. Of course, Von Karma should soon have his forces arrive there as well. Perhaps Von Karma himself will even make an appearance. However, another battle will soon take place.. With all of this happening, soon Von Karma's movement will be in disarray.. and I will make my move.." The sinister Raggo laughed in his carriage, his plan was full proof. He loved the chaos that had already resulted from his words.

"Why I serve von Karma?" Speculum looked at Naiyao quizzically. Then he smiled at her: "Because under his command I can hunt prey until my death. Not animal prey, human prey!" He tok a step towards his prey before thinking differnet of igniting the fight. She seemed to be out of air and as he had said he didn't want an advantage. Might as well have a little chat. With a movement of his hand he sent away the scout who had come into combat range. The young woman seemed to hesitate but decided that engaging Naiyao wasn't worth the trouble she'd have with Speculum for ignoring orders. Speculum turned his full attention back to Naiyao as the third Tao disappeared into the distance.

"Help you? You ask me to assist you in your fight against von Karma? To renounce my allegiance and strike at him instead of for him?" Speculum threw back his head and laughed. A strong wind started to blow as a orb on his chestplate glowed faintly. Speculum's laughter died away slowly and, still grinning, he shook his head: "There's a reason why I wouldn't join your armee of the goddess under any circumstances. You! If I were to join you I'd have to give up my hunt now wouldn't I?" He looked at her intently his sword beginning to spin again and the orb still glowing.

"Then we are at an impasse.." Naiyao spoke the words softly as she took a breath in and closed her mouth, pulling her sword back with one hand. She brought her body back to prepare for the next strike, gripping the hilt of the blade tightly. She allowed herself to hold restraint, moving her blade forward. She pointed the tip of the blade at Speculum with her eyes stuck onto his. Naiyao knew her next move, but she allowed herself to rest for a moment. She then moved her body back a bit and then quickly leaned forward to move her body, she pulled herself into a swift rush toward Speculum, pushing her feet from the Tao as she leaped towards the male, though her body seemed to flicker with an extreme increase in speed. Her body made contact with Speculum, though rather then striking him, she seemed to release him from his hold and pushed him from the Tao as well as herself, as they would both fall toward the ground from the heavy impact she unleashed against him so suddenly. Though they began to fall, she gripped her blade tightly still, preparing to strike back just in case until the moment fell upon Speculum of death.

Speculum's smile dissappeared as Naiyao struck him off the Tao. That he had not expected. His face twisted into a grimace of fury and he roared something of ancient Tempest to his abandoned mount. The Tao responded almost immediately, throwing it's own attack against Naiyao's Tao. Now two battles were going on simultaneously. Speculum turned his attention back to Naiyao. He brought himself around to face her easily twisting in the air with a grace that spoke of his knowledge of combat in the air. He feigned to execute and uppercut but instead he turned in a 360° and let his blade swing towards her neck, a blur of motion, sped up by his time orb.

Naiyao brought her right arm up quickly with the blade clenched in her grasp, striking back against Speculum's blade. She then quickly moved her left hand up to her chest and placed her palm over it, a shocking energy began to expel from her body. Lets end this quick! Naiyao moved her body in a twist as she sent herself into a spinning motion, moving toward Speculum. She wrapped her arms around him quickly and they were converged in an electric charge as they fell in a tornado form toward the ground, seeming to send out large amounts of electricity through the empty sky. As they move, the scar across Speculum's back burns, the lightening exertion moves rapidly, damaging Speculum as they near the ground for a grand impact.

Speculum screamed in pain as his scar burned itself into his mind once more. His face contorted into a mask of hate as he started to overcome the pain. Slowly he bares his teeth at Naiyao, as if to bite her. Then he hissed at her: "Your tricks are getting old. You're starting to bore me!" He used his time orb once more and sped up, thereby managing to get his arms free. He slowed down for a few seconds and grinned at Naiyao, the pain sinking back into the background. Then his orb illuminated his face again and his hands were wrapped around his prey's neck, slowly crushing her windpipe as he slowed down once more to savour the moment: "You are getting predictable and easy to counter Naiyao. How very disappointing!"

Naiyao gasps for air, closing her eyes in the pain being expressed from Speculum's grip around her neck. She holds onto his arms tightly, dragging her fingertips along his arm to try and pull him off. Her body lets off a high amount of electric energy that seems to spark through the skies, still striking Speculum, though it is more so out of control now due to her panic. The ground approaches now quickly, despite Speculum's time orb.

Speculum winced at the shock but didn't let go. Nothing would make him let go before his prey was finally dead. Instead he increased the pressure, his grip becoming more painful. He wanted this moment of triumph to last forever but he was well aware of the ground rapidly getting closer. He smiled at Naiyao: "I don't know about you but I'm unwilling to land so roughly. If you agree to come with me to Tempest I may consider saving you a terrible landing." His smile grew wider. The ground was close but it wasn't too close to hear Naiyao's answer and rescue the two from crashing into the hard earth.

The ground was close but it wasn't too close to hear Naiyao's answer and rescue the two from crashing into the hard earth.

Naiyao struggles. Her soon approaching death would be upon her and Speculum may decide to escape. She grabs onto his arm tightly to pull again, wincing, then with struggle words she speaks. "S.. Sorry... Bu--.. I have.. a mi--ssion.." Finishing her sentence, Naiyao pulls against Speculum's arm, though this time not away, she pulls it so her body collides into his both of her blades at her waist rip through the back of her cloak and into Speculum's gut, weakening his grip only slightly, though giving her enough room. Naiyao quickly tears Speculum's arms from her and pushes him further down as she is left only slightly higher in the air. She quickly spins, seeming to pause in the air for a moment as lightening mana charges through her veins. She directs her fingertips toward Speculum as he falls and releases a powerful surge of pure lightening energy from her fingertips which sends an overwhelming pain through his body as opened through the scar, her body is now more then fifteen feet above the point from which Speculum's is after she sent out the energy strike.

What beautiful readiness for selfsacrifice! Speculum smiled through the haze of pain in admiration. But he wasn't going to give up just because his prey had impressed him. He growled and struck out with his blade. His time orb began to glow. It was pretty exhausted by his constant use of it but Speculum used it nevertheless. Then he combined it with the wind orb. Wind Scythe! The collection of wind became as sharp as a blade and sliced through the air to cut into Naiyao's flesh. Speculum didn't have time to watch it draw blood though. The ground was only about three feet away from him now. Using the wind orb now, Speculum created an upwards gust of wind to cushion him and shift him to the side to be gone when Naiyao reached the ground. The brief upward push made the fall fairly easy to endure.

However the immense amount of electricity coursing through his body made him twitch uncontrollably. Damn! Now Speculum's body finally reacted to the incredible damage it had sustained. He tried to get up again but his arms didn't respond. He hissed angrily as his scar flamed up. But innerly he smiled, what a glorious battle!

Davis let out a sigh of relief as Raggo left the room, his plan to make the man leave had worked but it was risky, just thinking about Raggo made his skin crawl. "Hmm...I wonder what Speculum is up to." he whispered to himself. The men entered the the throne room once again and took their positions around the room, one of the men walked to Davis' side and waited for order. "Have the men prepared for battle, a long with the creators. I have a feeling something is up and I don't want to be caught off guard." Davis spoke with authority. The man bowed and left the room leaving Davis to wonder what Raggo wanted and why he was interested in his capture of Sol'nube.

Madison smiled at Regelion youthfulness, he was so full of life it was one of the reason she was so in love with the man and also the reason he completed her, she was always serious and focus at the task at hand and Regelion was always a goof ball. Madison turned and gave a nod to the General, "thank you for the hospitality, I should catch up to him before he gets into any trouble." She runs to the edge where Rege jumped from and did so as well but when she flipped she let out some flames to spin around her before then used the earth orb to raise a platform to her to stop her fall and then launched from it landing next to Regelion, she couldn't let herself be out done, he would get bored she thought keeping pace with the man.

Naiyao jerked her body back swiftly, making herself into a laying position with the attack swaying past her, barely dodging it. However, doing this increased the force and as the ground finally reached.. her body struck. It sent her into a stumbling crush, having her body skip back against it and finally slide onto her side far across the field with many scars, cuts, and bruises. Her body was severely damaged from the fight and the landing and she was now unconscious and near death. She was awake in her mind.. she knew that the pain would be immense when she awoke. It was to her as if she was looking down on her own damaged body. Had she not trained for years under conditions of similar nature she would be dead. Instead, her body laid near death. dammit.. I wasn't strong enough.. Naiyao's mind goes quiet as she lays still, covered in dirt and grass.

Speculum raised his head and looked around. He searched his surroundings thoroughly but he couldn't spot Naiyao. Slowly, his muscles aching from the electricity he got up. A small smile formed on his lips as the electricity and the pain swept into the earth. His feet still burned with pain though, having directed the electricity into the ground. had Naiyao been more thoughtful she would have tried to keep him away from the ground as long as possible to let the shock do it's work to the end. Speculum looked up at the sky, the scout had returned and driven the two Tao apart. The three gigantic, winged creatures now slowly sunk o the ground. The scout leapt off her mount and nodded at Speculum in respect: "I watched you battle my leader. A glorious fight indeed, the enemy lies defeated." She pointedly ignored Speculum's former condition of mind.

Speculum nodded back and looked at the ground, indeed only one or two metres away from him lay the broken form of his prey. He staggered over to her and checked vital signs: "Load her onto my mount. I want to bring her before the eldest for judgement." He rose to his feet again as the scout followed his orders without hesitation. Without anymore problems Speculum climbed onto the Tao's back and rose into the air. The other two Tao followed suit. As the three flew towards the village Speculum remained silent, glancing back at at Naiyao from time to time. He had done it yet he did not feel complete.

"I'm ready," Victor said, impatient to be off. His Thousand Eyes were still scanning the area nearby , though they'd found nothing much of interest. The only thing that seemed out of the ordinary was the lack of creatures prowling around. Victor decided to attribute it to Jakara's superior level of protection from intruders. It didn't matter to Victor, he just wanted to reach Sol'Nube as quickly as possible. One of his scouting Eyes reported to him that Naiyao had claimed a Tao to ride and while he thought it was a foolish decision to try using a wild creature like that, he envied its obvious speed. Victor began to sprint again, casting more of his speed increasing spells, as well as one to reduce his fatigue from running.

As he ran, Victor noticed something strange. One of the Thousand Eyes out scouting had lost sight of Xepher as soon as he reached the gates of Jakara. The man simply disapeared. Victor used the Illusion Orb to replay the event in his mind a few times before deciding the man had teleported somewhere. Great. Both of Victor's companions would reach Sol'Nube before him. Victor was about to growl in sheer frustration when he saw The worst possible thing that could have happened: Naiyao had come under attack.

Victor sprinted harder, able to do nothing but watch the clash between Naiyao and Speculum. He didn't know if Naiyao could win on her own, and he didn't know how well she could fight in the air. They'd fought one on one before, and it hadn't turned out well then, either. Victor watched as the two began to fall. As Naiyao hit the ground, Victor became painfully aware that he was unable to close his eyes to keep from seeing the impact. He was almost close enough to help now. He saw Speculum lift her body and place it on the Tao, and reached the area just after they flew off. In a rage, Victor hurled a bolt of force after Speculum, screaming, "You! Let her go!" If he could get close, Victor knew he could heal her, but first he had to get there. Still yelling, Victor throw more bolts, aiming alternatively between Speculum and the Tao that held Naiyao. Even as he attacked, Victor sent an Eye closer, flying after them. It was long range, and Victor needed a closer view.

Von Karma grew bored when a hologram of Xepher entered the room Von Karma was curious about what he had to report. He nodded for Xepher to go a head with his report. Xepher stood there with his straight jacket hooked on he bowed to Von Karma and then reported. "Master I have meet the orb users and they have split up some are heading towards Malvior and Me and two others are heading to Sol'nub. But one went ahead while me and one of the orb users are heading there now I have gained his trust what now." Von Karma thought for a moment then pointed at the darkness in his castle and out walked a sweet little girl who bowed to him. "I need you to head to Malvior and Xepher I want you to kill the orb user your with and then meet up with the other and kill that one now go." Xepher nodded and so did the girl the hologram disappeared from the room and so did the little girl."

Regelion noticed how Madison caught up to him and he wasn't going to let her show him up. He landed on a branch and jumped high into the air his orb glisened in his weapon. In an instant a burst of water sqirted out of his back pushing him forward through the air. He then began to spin making him look like a ball of radiant water the sun shined on him giving off a rainbow glow. He flew through the air but started to get dizzy he stopped spinning ending with a posse in mid air. His orb stopped sqirting water out landing on a branch jumping to another it seemed so fun and Malvior looked so much closer.

Even as he attacked, Victor sent an Eye closer, flying after them. It was long range, and Victor needed a closer view.

Xepher walked up behind Victor wondering what he was looking at he looked in the distance but all he could see was someone people on two taos flying away. He didn't pay them any mind really he was more focused on Victor. "So Victor whats going on what you shooting at"

Mean While In Malvior

The little girl had appeared in Malvior Flags of Von Karma where everywhere she then began to walk towards a Group of guards they began to shake in fear from her sight as they looked into her adorable eyes. One of the soliders where new and walked up to her calm thinking she was a normal little girl of the village and patted her on the head. Her eyes then changed from adorable to that off a soulless being and in an instant he erupted in darkness and as the dark faded stood only bones. Her eyes then turned back to their adorable self she looked at the soliders and one wet his pants and one solider spoke. "General What is the nature of your visit how may we help you"
The girl spoke in a sexual like voice that sounded like heaven to the soliders. "Von Karma has sent me back here to kill the orb users that are on there way there are Kusamara outside 30 yopur men take your bows and swords and stop them 20 of you position yoursleves in the trees along the entrance. I don't want anyone of them getting through understand" "Yes General" The girl then walked to the giant tree walking right through it into a throne room where she sat in a chair waiting to see if they would screw up.

Madison watched Regelion's performance and just smiled, she wouldn't try to one up him for a second time and let her husband to be win this round. Instead she quickly sped up and caught up to the man and give him a look of delight. Some time had past and Malvior was close now they would be at the entrance in a matter of minutes...if it wasn't for the army of Von Karma men and creatures in their way.

"It looks like they knew we were coming, but how?" Madison asked not really expecting an answer. "No matter, they stand in our way so they must be but to rest." Madison says with a low growl impatiently waiting for battle.

Madison sped up a head of Regelion to engage the enemy first. Arrows came flying down oh her but she easily evaded them and managed to pluck one from the air, she spun it around and jumped on to the nearest unfortunate soldier and drove the arrow through the man, he fell to the ground dead in a puddle of his own blood. Two men quickly moved to strike her with swords at the same time but Madison let herself fall back to dodge the swords, her hands caught the ground and her legs went toward the sky, she spun and kicked the two man hard on the helmet and still knocked them out. Madison back flipped into the army of men, they quickly responded and all rushed in at once, as Madison hoped they'd do. "I take no pleasure in killing the weak!" she yelled gathering fire to her closed fist then slammed it into the ground causing the earth around her to roll with fire, causing the enemy be thrown back and set ablaze. Madison looked up to see a black cloud of arrows drifting down over her. A faint smile washed a crossed her lips as the arrows started tattering the ground around her, she danced around arrows as the rained down, some of them grazed her causing blood to stream down her skin but tis only flesh wounds.
