Pai Mei vs. Li Mu Bai

Pai Mei from Kill Bill vol. 2 vs. Li Mu Bai from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Fight takes place at Pai Mei's house in the hills.

1) H 2 H

2) Mu Bai has the Green Destiny and Pai Mei has a Hanzo sword.

To the death.

I'm very inclined to lean towards Li Mu Bai in scenario 2. Scenario 1 I think Pai Mei showed more H2H prowess.

Pai Mei stomps in scenario 1 as he showed better h2h feats..

Chinese sword was cutting other swords like twigs and iirc, went through a thick piece of stone just as easily.

Executioners from Shao Lin. Shaw Bros. Hong Kong's version of Hammer Horror movies. They even did a colloboration together "Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires".

Pai Mei made multiple appearances in their films.

I can't speak for Pai Mei's other versions, but the one from "Kill Bill" gets schooled hard by Li Mu Bai. Hell Li Mu doesn't need the Green Destiny all he needs is a stick. As for Hand to Hand. Li Mu just avoids Pai Mei's attack while sipping tea and flirting with Yu Shu. Until Pai Mei collapses with exhaustion.

How is that we are taking about a guy who can block dozens of fast moving projectiles and runs across water vs a guy, who well can't.

Frankly the lower rung fighters in "Crouching Tiger" like Dark Cloud are probably still a level above Pai Mei. That is until Pai Mei can dance across water and run up trees.

Yeah well he's gonna need that to run away cause Pai could punch a hole through solid hard wood thicker than a foot with ease. Which is something Li can't do.

Does being hundreds of years old add to anything? the guy took down armies of ancient Shao Lin monks.

I don't recall a conversation about Pai's age nor a battle with Shao Lin monks in "Kill Bill".

In other words, not they don't add anything. Because they didn't happen.
