well how does a video game character, or anime, or any other media outside of comics supposed to stack up against any comic book character, when most of their abilities are implied or hard to quantify?

The tricky part comes when you get these: game characters; characters from 26 episode anime/tv series with ensemble casts; limited comic or book series. On the forum, you may just have to accept that you can't really argue for a win with certain characters.
That was why I am hesitant on the Kratos deal. I haven't played the games, but it's 3 games vs Diana's library of feats. It's not impossible, but he needs to have some undeniably crazy feats going for him.

He also did it with the help of lots of plot devices. Thor and WW's standard gear really isn't because it's standard and consistent. Now if WW had "the sword of xxx" and used it for a special enemy that she couldn't beat any other way then *that* would be one too.
Kratos collects gear the gods used against him and usually beats them with it. You can't have it both ways.
I already proved you wrong because in the end Kratos beat the life from Zeus with his own fists showing how powerful the guy is.
